    #15 $17.50

We only come for #15 (Com Roti $17.50) and it always delivers. You can choose between rice or noodle, I personally think the rice taste a lot better with it. Generous portion to share between two people! Parking: Parking lot

The simplest food can surprisingly be the tastiest. We ordered pho, spring rolls, and their special chicken with rice. While it sounds normal, I can say each dish packed its own personality of flavor. Pho Tai broth was light but hearty. The lightly fried spring rolls were a crispy delight to dinner. The main chicken dish was the main highlight. The sweet and savory sauce combined with the red rice pleasantly. You'd have to try on your own to know what I'm talking about. The restaurant seating was spacious and service was extremely quick and efficient. The servers were kind and attentive. It's not a place for fine dining, more for local fine cuisine.

As part of our family trip from San Francisco to San Jose for the 7/4 holiday, we stopped by this restaurant for pho ga and com ga roti, Chao ga and it was a wonderful experience. The food looked exactly like the photos on the menu, which was impressive. Everything about the dish was excellent--from the presentation to the flavor. The noodles, rice, porridge and onion salad were fresh, the ingredients were plentiful, and the broth was flavorful and served piping hot, just the way I like it. Their popular dish is Com Ga Roti but our family picked porridge and pho ga as our best dishes. We especially appreciated the complimentary fresh vegetables and condiments (see photos), which enhanced the taste of the noodles, rice and porridge even more. Best of all, additional fresh vegetables were available at no extra charge. Service: Fast and efficient. Ordering and payment were quick and easy, and credit cards are accepted. Atmosphere: Relaxing and comfortable environment with Vietnamese music playing in the background. The indoor dining area was clean, spacious, and well-maintained. Value: Very reasonable prices, especially for pho, rice and porridge lovers. The menu offers many chicken options, including pho, porridge , rice styles. The Com ga roti comes with a separate bowl of dipping sauces and delicious broth on the side. Overall: We had a great dining experience and would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for authentic, delicious pho ga, porridge ga, generous portions, good value, and friendly service. We look forward to visiting again on our next trip to San Jose!

Came here yesterday (Sunday) with my parents and bf for lunch. We arrived a little before 12:30pm. There was a waitlist, and we wrote our name down. We waited for about 10-15 minutes, which was not bad at all. My first choice was a Pho Ga Dac Biet, but they said they have only one size for that. I didn't want a large, so I opted for the #3, shredded chicken pho, instead. The #3 was pretty simple. The broth was good and light. There was a decent amount of chicken. I was disappointed by the ginger sauce. I didn't love that it was sweet. My mom also ordered a #18, 1/2 duck salad, to share. We poured the fish sauce it came with over it. This was delicious. I love the combination of veggies this dish included. The duck was also good. Overall very refreshing and I would recommend it. I would want to come back to try their chicken rice plate.

Overall rating: 3.75 Every now and then, I have to give beef pho a break and show chicken pho some love. Pho Ha Noi used to be my go-to for chicken pho, but over the years it's slowly fallen off. This place might've just snatched the chicken pho crown. Let's get into it. Phở Gà Ức (Chicken Breast Pho) This is probably the best chicken broth I've had in San Jose... so far. The broth actually tastes like chicken--not just salty water pretending to be chicken broth. It had a clean chicken flavor without being overly salty and those little droplets of chicken fat floating on top? That's the good stuff. The noodles landed right in the sweet spot: not mushy, not undercooked, just right. The chicken breast wasn't extremely tender, but it had soaked up plenty of flavor from the broth and was soft enough to keep every bite enjoyable. Cơm Gà Rô Ti (Featured in the SF Chronicle) I'll admit, the SF Chronicle hype got me. I came in expecting one of them one's. Instead... it was just okay. The tomato rice didn't really bring much tomato flavor. It wasn't bland, but it never reached "I need another bite" territory either. The roasted chicken was cooked well, but on its own it didn't leave much of an impression. The accompanying sauce added some sweetness, though it wasn't really my thing. Overall, it was a pretty underwhelming plate considering all the praise. The Cơm Gà Rô Ti was aiiiight--I wouldn't order it again. But if you're craving chicken pho, this place absolutely delivers where it counts. That broth alone is very solid, and I'll definitely be back for another bowl.

The wait is a bit long but that's because the food here is SO GOOD. It's my go-to spot for mien ga. It's located near Vietnam Town and Grand Century Mall so it's very convenient if you want a sweet treat in Little Saigon. Service was very fast and food came out almost immediately (5-10 min wait). Sugar cane juice (nuoc mia) was a 7/10. They gave us a lot and it was sweet but i think it could've been more concentrated. I like how it cut through the umami and savory-ness of the food. It helped with flavor fatigue. Chicken Salad (Goi Ga Bap Cai) was a 8/10. I like how the sauce/ dressing is very strong and the freshness really helped to pair well with the umami-ness of the other foods. I also liked how there was a lot of chicken -- they did not skimp out. Special Chicken Noodles (Mien Ga Dac Biet) was a 10/10. This is the main reason that I come here. This place is my go-to. The soup is so rich and the noodles are chewy and bouncy. I also love how they put SO MUCH chicken in the soup too and they also include chicken offal as well. It's not for everyone but I like it. Rotisserie Chicken Rice Plate (Com Ga Ro Ti) was a 8/10. I think the plate was very worth it in that you get so much chicken. The rice is also seasoned well. The sauce was the main point of this dish. Super savory.

Pretty solid, but some items are a bit pricey. Have some different options for chicken, consistent across visits, but can be a little dry and the fried chicken itself was a bit expensive ($10 for 4 pieces) I like the chicken in the rice dish (crunchy and a little sweet) or the sticky rice (fried with Viet 5 spices seasoning) dish the most. The goi ga is always solid, if you order a congee or soup you can add on a smaller goi ga for cheap. The chicken in the dry mi dish can be a little dry, but it comes with a lot of noodles. I come back, but I prefer Nha Trang more (cheaper and moister chicken, as well as other dishes).

They fill their sugarcane up! And it's not just mostly ice either. So delicious. The food is good too. Service was great. We were a party of 11 adults and 3 toddlers/ infants. They accommodated our seating immediately upon getting there and took our orders just as quickly

Came here with my family back in January and I remember it didn't leave much of an impression for me. Everything was just alright and okay.. The chicken pho was a bit bland and the dipping sauce was watery. The chicken rice dish, both regular and sticky rice, fried and Hainan style, were probably the better choice than the chicken pho... Coming from OC, I also am picky with my Vietnamese food, having to grow up eating it. Overall, just AOKAY.. Service was really good though and that is really says something about our Vietnamese restaurants!

Knew I came to the right spot when I was the only non Viet in there. The Com Ga Roti has super crispy skin and an amazing mix of dark/light meat. I wanna come back to try the chicken pho next

This place have the BEST Vietnamese food in San Jose! You have to try #15 and their Duck salad!!! Everything so fresh and have a very unique taste!

Looking for spots to eat in San Jose before going to a show and a friend recommended this spot. Ordered: no 1 (pho ga dac biet) 4/5: Cuz the soup was delish and the chicken came with giblets. Yum! where can i get giblets?! There wasn't a ton of noodles but there was plenty of chicken and giblets. it was well priced. no 15 (com ga ro to) 5/5: This dish was featured by the SF chronicle and I've never had anything like it. Yummy pieces of chicken lightly fried and tossed in a sweet sauce. For some reason it reminded me of fried squab for the crispiness and sweetness. But it was way better because there was more meat! It's served with an orange colored rice (I dunno why it's orange) that is also sweet. Maybe it's cooked in the sauce the chicken is tossed in? It also comes with a small salad so that you can balance the flavors. Would come back for this! no 33 (basically the beef pho combo) 3/5: This was the most disappointing because it was filet minion and other beef meats but it was overcooked. Really just stick with the chicken here and I'm a huge beef fan! Their service was lacking but I suppose they are popular enough that they don't need to cater to you. When we arrived they kept asking us if we were ready to order when we just sat down! I guess most people are regulars so they know what they want. The restaurant is pretty large but I can imagine it gets busy. There was a sign up sheet outside prolly for evenings and weekends. We popped in at 4:45 pm and there was no problem getting in. This place is so close to my favorite bahn mi sandwich shop that I now can hit two places on one trip!

Parking can be a bit tricky. The place is busy and we had to wait about 20 mins to get seated on a weekday (lunch). Servers were kind. Portions were generous and priced were fair. Chicken was cooked perfectly, delicious!

Yes, they serve fresh noodles. I just had lunch here today. They run out sometimes later in the day but usually available at no additional cost. Hope this helps.
