It's been high on my list because every time I came to the movie theater next door, I'd see a long line of folks waiting to get in. The service was truly excellent. Jeff, the chef (rhymes!), was kind and welcoming. He could tell it was our first time and went out of his way to check in, give advice on what to order, and how to enjoy it. The wagyu and chicken soup were both outstanding -- flavorful, hearty, and healthy. Here's the part that took it over the top for me: they had accidentally forgotten our fried tofu. We finally got a chance to check it out, and since we were on a tight schedule before our movie, we were pleasantly surprised to be seated right away. It was an interesting layout upon entering the restaurant with the 2 person tables placed very close together. We weren't greeted or assigned a seat so we just chose a seat and ordered thru the online portal, the food did arrive fairly quick shortly after we submitted the order. I wished that I had known there was a self service sauce bar where you can grab additional chili sauce to season the noodles before finishing half of the noodles. Also if you do order the crossing bridge noodles, you can order another serving of Miishien noodles for free if it isn't filling. The tofu salad was very mid and I'd pass on that - it wasn't very flavorful and felt like I was chewing on rubber bands because of how tough it was coming from a person who loves to eat dried bean curd. The Miishien noodles are very similar to the Vietnamese bun that you eat in BBH or Bun Rieu - just more silkier if you had this before. What a treat! MiShien 米線 is rice noodles, widely popular in Asia. This place claims to specialize in the YunNan style (there are many styles in China, more elsewhere in South Eastern Asia). We love this style can decided to check it out. During the lunch hours, the owner/chef came out to give every a candy that he personally brought back from China.
