Grilled Lemongrass Chicken & Rice Box (GF)

We tried their delivery and it was efficient and the food was good. The grilled chicken meal light and healthy. The sweet an spicy sauce is more sweet than spicy. We have also bought food and sat at the restaurant. It's fast casual vibe. They have 2 tables out side to sit as well. It's near Trader Joe's. Would def go back!

    Pineapple Curry with Tofu

Located in Town and Country, parking is plentiful but availability is limited. The interior is nice and minimal. Noise level was quiet and kept to a minimum. Pineapple curry (3/5): The peppers were a bit too soft and overwhelming. I also felt like there wasn't enough tofu and pineapple. However the flavor was really killing it with this one. Tap to pay is accepted. Overall, Roost and Roast has some good food. The amount of ingredients could be a bit more. However the flavor was really good.

Food here is delicious and good value. It has a self order kiosk. Fast food service. Nice to have some indoor seating at the restaurant when the outside area is full especially on a nice sunny day. We ordered the 8 piece Hat Yai fried chicken, the chicken green curry and the Pad kra pow with pork. Curry comes with rice. It's a little on the sweet side. Very mild even though this is listed as a spicy curry. The pad kra Poe was very flavorful. Hat Yai chicken was crispy yet juicy and delicious.

We were in the area and D1 is in town for the holidays so it was a definite must stop. We get to the original location only to find it replaced. Can you imagine our disappointment!!! OMG, we were both ready to cry. There is a small sign that they have moved 3 doors down. Thank the Lord!!!! The new location is HUGE and has seating/ eating area! What a wonderful surprise. I think there's like 8-10 tables and even bar seating at the window! Wow! I didn't get my usual hat Yai fried chicken bc d1 and I shared the Thai pop. Definitely not my favorite bc the hat Yai has so much flavor but I don't think i could have eaten a plate to myself. The toasted rice sauce definitely saved it. I also added the small side of curry and roti. The curry was very watery but had good flavor. And I'm not feeling the "new" roti. It was too crispy for my liking. I'm used to the soft and bendable texture of roti. This was crumbling as soon as I tore it or bent it to dip. Next time I'll stick with the hat Yai and just take the leftovers home.

This is one of my favorite places to go to for lunch in Town & Country Village. Roost & Roast is a Thai fusion restaurant that specializes in chicken. They are most popular for their Hat Yai-Style fried chicken which is quite unique. The hat yai fried chicken is very good and flavorful, it's fried perfectly and has a great batter. The batter is super crispy while the chicken itself remains very juicy and moist. Even though the fried chicken has great flavor on its own I find that when you pair it with the soy ginger vinegarette it just elevates the flavor. One of my favorite dishes is the Gai Yang BBQ Chicken and Rice. The chicken is marinated for 24 hours in soy, garlic, chilies and spices. It's so flavorful through and through as well as being super moist. It goes well with the rice, pickled daikon and cucumbers. I also really enjoy the roti and curry when I just want a quite bite. The roti is amazing, they give you 3 big pieces that are a little crispy on the outside but nice and chewy as well. The massaman curry is quite unique and pairs very well with the roti. I highly recommend trying this as well as the chicken dishes. I just love the uniqueness of this place and how flavorful the food is and will keep coming back.

Had ordered this for a work lunch and it came packaged nicely. I ordered the Gai Yang Bbq Chicken with R&R sauce. I added a lime and chili sauce. The food was good and the portions were large. I was only able to eat half and had the second half the next day for lunch. Flavors were good and it reheated well also. Nice spot for a quick tasty lunch.

My friends and I stopped by for dinner and I ordered a chicken pad thai. I wish I got the chili with it to make it spicier but it was piping hot when we picked up our order. It also had tofu and raw beans sprouts. My friend ordered the lemongrass chicken with the soy ginger sauce. The chicken was tender and went well with the sauce. Our orders didn't take too long and ordering was through the kiosk. There is no seating indoors so you can only get it to-go. There are seats outside if you want to try right after you get your order.

I've been here 2x now, both takeout. I thoroughly enjoy the meals I get here, the quality, quantity and freshness is solid. The fried chicken is SO delicious. The sauces are excellent. Service is so fast too! What a hidden gem. They offer outdoor seating but I usually just grab and go to eat at a park instead. If they did catering, I would totally order from here!

2 pc Hat Yai Chicken & Side Papaya Salad and Roti to go

Popped in here for the first time on a late Saturday afternoon. It's one of many options in the center. Space was open and clean. It's a self serve counter to order - easy and efficient. I went with the two piece Hat Yai chicken which is made to order. Really enjoyed the crispness of the chicken balanced with the zingy and crunchy papaya salad. Worth a stop if your taste buds are craving Asian fusion.

tofu pad thai no egg (vegan)
    Grace X.

I had the vegetarian pad thai (made vegan with no egg) delivered for a work lunch. The food was amazing, very flavorful with a good mix of tofu and noodles and veggies. Portion size is decently large, good for 2 smallish meals. Most of the vegetarian dishes can be made vegan by removing egg, and this option is clearly labelled in the online ordering system. Highly recommend!

I ordered takeout from here, and it has quickly become a go-to spot for lunch. I've tried both the Hat Yai Chicken and the Gai Yang BBQ Chicken, and both were cooked perfectly! Their sides, like the roti with curry and the papaya salad, are also wonderful. This is a really great, balanced meal for a workday lunch!

Must try the crispy chicken entree! They fry the chicken so well and they give such a generous serving size.

The host received us warmly, but things slipped from there. Our table was missing cutlery and we had to flag our server down to get it sorted. We asked for a minute to look over the menu since it was our first visit. He did not come back for five minutes, and only because we flagged him down again. When we ordered, he took our request without making eye contact, attention clearly elsewhere in the restaurant. One dish came out. The second did not. Our server never circled back to check on us, and seemingly did not notice that one of us had no food in front of her. After nearly ten minutes, we flagged him down again. He called over from across the restaurant, not walking to us, with a "what?" We had to gesture that my guest still had no food. He came over briefly, confirmed our order, said it was coming soon, and left. No apology. No acknowledgment of the wait. No offer to make it right while one plate sat getting cold. The food eventually came, again with no apology. It was good. But by then, honestly, the experience had overshadowed it. We asked for a manager. Cathy came over, listened, and immediately apologized. She agreed the service fell short, gave us a break on the bill, and handled the situation with real grace. She is the reason this review has any stars at all! For reference, our server's name on the receipt read Mui F. I hope Cathy's conversation with him makes a difference, because Sweet Maple clearly has the food to back up its reputation. The service just needs to match it!
