If I could give this place 11 stars out of 10, I would! From the moment we walked in, the hospitality was incredible. The staff is incredibly humble, and you can really tell this is Vietnamese food from the heart. The Chicken Pho was a total treat--the broth and vegetables were "next level" and some of the best soup I've ever had. Following a suggestion from the staff, we ordered a side of rice, and I'm so glad we did. I'm not sure if they use butter or a specific seasoning, but the flavor was amazing. To drink, do yourself a favor and order the lemonade. It tastes incredibly fresh and perfectly balanced. The atmosphere is quiet and relaxed, making it a perfect spot to bring the family. I even overheard the neighbors at the next table raving about the eggrolls, so those are definitely on my list for next time. I will absolutely be returning!

Go to spot that opens 24/7 when you crave some soup after a night out instead of fast food. They have a pho bo sale for $8.50 but only from 7am-7pm. I usually come for their pho, but craved a rice dish. Com suong nuong (Charboiled Pork Chop with steamed rice) + eggs: 9/10 Meat was a tad bit dry, but it was flavorful. I like the color on the meat. Portion was enough to share with another person. Had 2 pieces of meat and 2 eggs. Came with salad, pickled cabbage, side of soup, and sauce. Totally worth $13! The pickled cabbage threw me off a little. Very strong in ginger! Wish it wasn't pickled with ginger, but overall a good dish.

Hole in the wall pho spot that's open 24/7, talk about convenience! No frills just good ol pho. Small bowl is about $10 and large is $12 Definitely a value but don't expect anything special. As everyone already pointed out cash only but they do have ATM inside

$8.50 small bowl of beef pho was delicious! Great service and Ambiance was kids friendly and spacious for large groups! I'll definitely come back!

I went here late at night and appreciated they were open all night. The pho is cheap, and you get what you pay for. Service was very quick. However the spring rolls were very small and lacked all the ingredients that make them flavorful.

Got the Pho Dac Biet and Com Bo Ne. They were both good, nothing too crazy. I love that the place smells like pho, reminds me of old times when I went to pho places as a kid. Open 24/7, cash only and the ladies working are so friendly. Will come again when I'm craving late night pho.

Open 24/7, cash only, no frills, no BS, get your food and get out! Just how I like it! I come in here between 1-4am and it always hits the spot. I either get the pho ga (chicken noodle soup) or the pork chop with steamed rice and a fried egg. I've also had the egg rolls which are always hot and fresh. Now if you're coming here looking for incredible customer service and hospitality, sorry, go to chick fil a or in n out. This is not the place for that. This is strictly for late night viet comfort food. Huge shout out to the lady who is always working late nights and early mornings. I think she works literally every day and she deserves a break!!! Anyways, thanks to everyone at Pho Vie II

The crispy chicken and rice dish was delicious. It took a few more minutes for them to cook it than pho. Nonetheless it came out piping hot and golden with a sweet chili sauce drizzled on top, green onions with a side of pickled veggies, fresh cucumbers, lettuce, tomato slices, side soup and dipping sauce.

I don't know if I was too wasted, but this pho was hitting the spot at 2:00a.m.-ish. Ended up ordering the pho and egg rolls. If anyone saw me eating, I just want to apologize cause I was probably eating like a drunken maniac. If you sat close enough to my table, you probably caught egg roll shapnel too. This is one of the few spots now-a-days open after hours slanging bowls of that magical soup. The service has gotten better than back in the days as well. FYI they Still only accepts cash.

I found my new late night, dining spot! This place is open 24/7 and like any great old-school Asian dining spots it's cash only. Don't expect any amazing service or pristinely clean place but, is exactly what you expect from a old school Asian diner. I recently came down with something and nice soup and was recommended this place. Their pho is on point. And their spring rolls are very good. This place definitely hits a spot. I will definitely be coming back to try their other dishes like their fried chicken on steamed rice for $10. I think if you need a late night spot to get good food, this is a great spot, it's great even if it's not late night!

They're now open 24/7! This is the go to spot for late night pho to cure a hangover. I got the pho tai chin and pho Kobe. Both were delicious! The broth was not too fatty. It was pretty clear and very tasty. The portions are good for their price. They do have some specials at the moment too.

This is one of those quintessential post-concert Pho place you gotta go to in OC. At the time I went, they were open pretty late, meaning that the customers were mostly people getting off their late shift, or coming after a night out. I got the Pho Dac Biet, which came in a large size. I thought the variation of meat was okay, but I do wish they did meatballs like a few other places. It was a little lukewarm, which wasn't the best, as I expect it to be close to boiling. Who am I to complain though for this late night bowl of comfort... The service was very typical of a Pho restaurant, fast, efficient, and nothing crazy to write home about.

It had that classic Vietnamese-Cantonese flavor, perfectly balanced between sweet and savory, coating every bite of noodles without being too heavy. The noodles were cooked perfectly with a great chewy texture. They leaned a little on the sweeter side, but they were still really tasty. The sủi cảo were THICCCCCK in the best way possible! The wrappers had a nice bite, and the filling was juicy with that signature bouncy texture. We ended up ordering three bowls of Mì Sủi Cảo Khô, and everyone cleaned their bowls. The food was solid, but the service was pretty much nonexistent. The staff wasn't very friendly or attentive, although that's honestly something I've come to expect at a lot of places in Westminster. One thing that really stood out, though, was the condiment station. The chili oil, fresh chilies, and sauces looked dirty, and after tables were cleaned, the serving spoons and sauce dishes weren't replaced. I actually had to grab them from another table myself. Overall, I'd come back for the food because it was genuinely good, but the service and overall atmosphere could definitely use some improvement.

However, I'd encourage anyone who hasn't had the dish before to try it if you're a fan of a thick starchy broth and wonderfully chewy udon noodles. There are different meat options to go along with the soup - crab, pork, etc., or any combination of. There's also a "light" broth option which is less thick but equally delicious. Aside from the soup, the egg rolls here are deliciously crisp and crunchy as they're made with rice paper instead of the standard egg roll wrapper. The restaurant is a great example of a hole-in-the-wall that's 100% worth trying. Expect to wait 20-30mins to be seated during normal dining hours due to the low room capacity and popularity of the restaurant (the food comes out really fast though!).

It's super casual inside with a very local vibe, and the kind of place where you come strictly for the food rather than a fancy setup. They're super well-known for their Bánh Canh, and for good reason--the thick, chewy tapioca noodles in that rich, comforting broth are incredible and easily the main event here. But surprisingly, their Phở Đặc Biệt is also excellent. The broth is deep and flavorful, the meat cuts are generous, and it easily competes with a lot of the dedicated phở spots around Little Saigon. To wash it all down, their Vietnamese iced coffee is a must--super strong, rich, and gives you that perfect, intense sweet-and-bold kick. Just a heads-up that the line can get pretty long, and the wait takes a while since they seem a bit understaffed. But once you finally get seated, the food comes out piping hot. If you're in the area and don't mind a wait for authentic, heavy-hitting noodle bowls, Mai Phung is definitely worth dropping into.
