Huge portions for the medium size. This is PERFECT for a warming and soothing hot soup kind of day. Ordered the beef stew noodle soup. Some bits were a bit tough (hence only 4 stars). Wife ordered the chicken pho and it was cleaaaaannn. So refreshing to have this. Both items came out with SOOOOO MUCH MEAT! Too much meat. Spring rolls were clean and delicious! I need the algorithm to know that this place's portions are HUGE. I can't imagine what a large would be. The medium was soooo perfect. Every bit of noodles felt like it had meat with it cuz that's how perfectly balanced this place was. Not crowded on a Saturday night but this place needs more hype. I absolutely love coming here! My go-to order is a large Pho Thai and the combination appetizer plate and it never disappoints. Everything always comes out fresh and flavorful. The sauces at Pho Nam Dinh are seriously next level (so good ‍). You can tell they care about quality. The service is consistently great, and the music they play is always a vibe. It just makes the whole experience that much better. Definitely one of my favorite spots when I'm craving pho! We were staying in the Anaheim area for a convention and really craved some Vietnamese food. This place definitely fulfilled our cravings. It's located in a huge lot with plenty of parking and has the that family owned old-school vibe Service was excellent. Everyone was friendly and the service was quick. Food wise, for the price to portion ratio was great. The phone had plenty of protein, broth was delicious. Not too salty and just right amount of richness to it. We were initially planning to grab Mexican down the street but it was July 4th... only Asian restaurants stayed open I suppose. The restaurant itself felt like we walked in the 90s throw back mom and pop restaurant. Random furnitures and decorations stacked in every corner. Vietnamese house music on repeat. We had a couple of their soup noodles and thought the soup bases were very tasty! Less salty or oily than most pho places we've been to! The kids loved every bite! Portions were generous. The owner is really nice (and she is also attractive) and will remember you if you go their often. The servers hover over you and constantly check to see if everything's good! Darn right it is! The Pho taste different especially since there is a more distinct gingery taste to the broth. If you call in an order and they mess it up they will go out of their way to fix it! The name PHO NAM DINH is the city in Viet nam where the Pho come from. They are use the real one ( not use flavor) so that many people did not kow!!! We ordered two bowls of medium pho tai ($18/each), gyozas ($6), garlic butter chicken wings ($11), and special egg rolls ($9). The appetizers tasted great, and I really enjoyed the pho. The pho tai had a deliciously light broth. Even with a medium portion, the pho was filling. There was a decent amount of tender meat. They use sliced rare Wagyu steak, so the meat quality is really good here. As such, pho bowls here cost relatively more than those from other restaurants I've tried. As for the appetizers, I liked how the gyozas were freshly prepared and steamed. The garlic butter chicken wings were also large. While I didn't try the special egg rolls, my family enjoyed that there was shrimp inside. Our server was really polite with taking our orders and providing our food. Service overall is great here. We got a good refill of Thai basil upon our request. There were nice performances of Vietnamese ballads playing on a television screen. However, advertisements would pop up occasionally. At the end of the day, this is a great pho restaurant to visit in Little Saigon. Among many choices to try Vietnamese food in the area, I'm glad we chose this one.

The brisket was tender, and overall the broth and quality hit the spot. At $16, it's about the going rate these days, but this one felt worth it. We also got the shaken beef, which came with cubed potatoes and rice. That threw me off a little at first since I'm used to shaken beef just coming with rice, but I actually liked that they give you options. You can have the potatoes stir-fried with the beef so they soak up all the sauce, or have them fried separately so they stay crispy. Luckily we were able to try it both ways: The shaken beef with potatoes fried separately -- super crispy and satisfying/The shaken chicken with potatoes stir-fried together -- the sauce coated everything really well and gave it a lot of flavor. Honestly, I liked both versions for different reasons. The employee we interacted with was also really nice and we got to chatting about family and our kids. It's still surprising to find a good quality Vietnamese spot in the heart of Anaheim, especially one that isn't just about pho.
