Ordered pho combo and it was sub par. They forgot to add meatballs until a few seconds after in a separate bowl after I took this picture. Even then they gave 3 tiny meatballs. The noodles are clearly not fresh because the noodles were bunched together in the soup like they were frozen. I did not see why this place have high ratings but maybe they had a bad day? Had such a wonderful experience here! The husband and wife team were extremely sweet, accommodating (we had a family of 8 including 5 kids and asked for the bean sprouts to be cooked). We loved the pho - super flavorful with a ton of meat. The shaking beef and potatoes were so yummy and we also loved the vermicelli egg roll bowl. Good spot! Delicious pho, amazing Spring rolls! We decided to check this spot out for their high reviews and it was on the way home from where we were at. We attempted to ask for suggestion from the waiter, he was less than helpful. It was almost as though i was asking him for the recipe of one of the dishes, seemed almost defensive. My friend told me that she loves the noodle soup of this place, so she took me here. But after that, we were disappointed, I had the grilled pork chop and my friend ordered noodle soup. But when the food came, she said it's all different. Idk but my dish was a trash, the meat is too dry and salty. Too expensive !! With that price I have a big plate, more meat and food than this from my favorite store. My best friend and I came from the salon a few doors down from this restaurant. We were hungry and looking for some authentic Asian food. Well I am here to say that this would be the spot! Pauline is the owner and we complimented everything we ordered! Everything tastes fresh and delicious. Definitely get the egg rolls! We got 6 of them with fresh lettuce, carrot, mint, and the fish sauce was perfect. Pauline told us how she makes the broth fresh everyday and I wasn't surprised because it was the tastiest broth I've had. You also need to try their Coconut Kumquat drink. It's so refreshing and I've never seen this drink anywhere else. There's fresh shavings of coconut in it and so nice to eat after your drink. The grilled pork chop was filled with flavor and very juicy. One of the most important things is that the place was very clean, and the restroom as well. I don't really ever write reviews but I thought I should for Pho HN. I work about 4 miles from here and it popped up in my Yelp search for some vermicelli noodles. I was a bit hesitant as it had 4.8 stars and only 38 reviews but I thought I'd give it a chance since I've already tried most of the other restaurants nearby work. To my surprise it was one of the best Vietnamese vermicelli dishes in the area...maybe one of the best I have ever had. I ordered the grilled pork and eggroll vermicelli to go. It came packaged with all the veggies packed to the brim in a plastic bag and styrofoam container with 2 egg rolls, grilled pork, sauce, peanuts and noodles. In fact there was also one red Thai chili pepper which I appreciated very much. The pork was delicious. It tasted fresh and had a nice BBQ char to it unmolested other places where it tsar like they just reheated it. The eggroll (maybe veg) was also crunchy and delicious. I thought the dish could have used a little more noodles but overall it was enough food considering they give you 2 eggrolls (not 1) and a substantial serving of grilled pork. Also the portion of veggies were hefty. They were fresh and chopped/mixed perfectly so that there was minimal effort in mixing yourself. The service was good as the lady in the counter was nice and provided me with the extra sauces I asked for without question. I'll definately be coming back here for the vermicelli and maybe even try the pho. I noticed they has chinsu hot sauce at oneof the tables.
