I only agreed to go here after checking if they had pho shrimp on their menu, and indeed they had it on there. Arrived after a late badminton session. It was a weekday and already late, so I was fine with just going home. However, I took the extra miles to drive over here only to be told they no longer serve shrimp and said I was looking at an old menu. Since I wasn't just looking at an old photo of the menu someone posted, I showed them their active menu on yelp and suggested they should update their menu. I then asked if they had anything without meat and his answer was white rice. You gotta be kidding me? Lol. Excellent Pho! The best Pho in OC. I tell everyone about this place. The late owner is really nice guy too! Very friendly and treats you really good. Their broth is amazing and also they are not cheap on meat and veggies either! Almost no pho places give you ngo om but they do! This is authentic Vietnam style I go to Vietnam once a year so I know what I'm talking about. Most places just give you some basil and that's it. You'd be lucky if you get the 2nd herb which is the ngo gai spiky herb. But at pho good they give you the 3rd herb which is what pho restaurants in Vietnam does. Ngo om is the stems with the little leaves. Oh also the lemongrass chili oil is the best here too! So much lemongrass flavor it's makes everything come together beautifully. I went in during brunch time and it was steady traffic and they had a consistent flow of people coming in. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by a really friendly lady.
