I've always stopped by Pho House whenever I'm in the area and craving for Pho. Firstly, I love their beef ribs pho. Broth is flavorful and comes with three pieces of beef ribs. Service is terrible. We ordered take out and asked for hoisin sauce and she said it's a limit of 2 per customer which doesn't make sense if you're ordering multiple items. If you're going to be that cheap, at least offer to sell more or make it 2 per dish. Rude attitude and service is everything so we'll try our luck elsewhere. We also would have been fine with sauce from the bottle in a container but the one customer dining in looked to only have packets also. read more

This place deserves the many good reviews that it has! The restaurant is very clean when you enter it and they take out an entire tray of utensils and sauces (though they could probably include more things like chili oil) so that it doesn't feel dingy like other pho restaurants. We ordered the pho special (with only meatballs), the pork with rice, and egg rolls. The egg rolls were super crispy although they don't use the typical egg roll wraps and so the wrap is kind of thinner than usual and peeling. The pork is flavorful, tender, and crispy but not the best marinated meat we've had. The pho was piping hot and had such a great flavor to it. The prices are not bad, around $33 after tip. My kid was jonesing for pho after a long tournament day and I needed to find a nearby restaurant with both awesome reviews and zero wait time - Pho House to the rescue! The Pho Ribeye was full of tender beef slices, and the broth was aromatic and plentiful. Bowls come in 2 sizes - L is more than enough food for one person, but the XL is perfect for sharing or if you want to bring home leftovers. I was surprised a staple like Bun Thit Nuong (charbroiled pork with vermicelli noodles) was *not* on the menu, only Com (with rice) Thit Nuong instead, but our very kind server asked the chef to accommodate my request. Went for the first time on a Friday night- lots of space & pretty empty around 6 pm. Ample parking because it shares a lot with other businesses. Ordered the rib bone pho and ribeye pho. The rib bone pho only comes in the extra large size! But somehow I managed to eat it all haha! The THREE ribs were tender and beefy, with a decent amount of meat. I was looking for a local pho place in the South Bay and stopped into Pho House. Pho House is a small unassuming restaurant with a couple of tables outside the restaurant and tables relatively spaced inside. Place is typically Asian with simple and ordinary storefront decor, but clean and covid-sensitive and compliant. I understand that this place went under new management pre-pandemic and service was friendly and attentive. I ordered their House Special Egg Rolls which were about average. You get 4 crispy thin egg rolls with shrimp and pork and a fish sauce for dipping and lettuce for wrapping if desired. It was freshly made as evident by the "hot" temperature when served. I also ordered their regular size Seafood Pho which was exceptional. I found the broth to be very flavorful and quite tasty. It was probably one of the better pho broths that I've had anywhere. They also serve a decent amount of seafood that includes shrimp and mussels and perfectly served noodles. Was very aromatic also. The pho came with a decent amount of meat. Noodles were perfectly el dente. What put it over the top was this special chili sauce they had. Was looking for chili oil but this is what they had available. This gave the broth much more added flavor than it already had and was legitimately spicy! Another 10 minutes and I popped that styrofoam lid open and WHOA! That is PLENTY of food for $11! Charbroiled pork was tender and full of flavor. Egg rolls could have used a few more seconds in the fryer, but decent. Shrimp was grilled and seasoned to near perfection. Like the egg rolls, the bean curd shrimp cake could have used a bit more time to finish, but really good. Pickled veggies were nothing out of the ordinary. FOOD: 4 SERVICE: 5. My partner and I tried this place a couple years ago & I don't know why we haven't been back- I regret not doing so with the amount of Vietnamese food cravings we've had over the years. The pork banh mi- there's a slight butteriness that I have not tried in banh mi before but honestly I prefer it with. For some reason it was SO addicting to me. When I went in there, the interior of their restaurant was clean & the staff were nice as well. When I had opened the food at home, there were a good portion of noodles for each oxtail soup than last time when I did the Uber Eats delivery 2 days ago which was amazing. There is plenty of parking in the plaze so you should not have any difficulty finding your spot. The food amount is very generous (I was only able to finish half during lunch, so I finished other half at home for my dinner.) comparing to its cost and it is also quite tasty so I strongly recommend this one to you. And if you are a fan of the Vietnamise-styled coffee (very strong coffee), I also recommend their iced coffee w/condensed milk. Showed up today to this little location in Lawndale plaza. Once entering the door i was greeted quickly very kindly asked where I wanted to sit, if i wanted any water and handed me a menu once I sat down. I personally don't have anything bad to say about my experience there today. Food: didn't regally order much. I ordered the Dac Biet I enjoyed it pho was very aromatic pretty clear broth compared to other locations where it's extremely dark. I thought the flavors where all there had the perfect amount of garnish (I'm sure you can ask for more). The beef was good not tough or chew which is a plus. I love coming here with my daughter to have a good pho and egg rolls , the waitress is so nice always food is always on point .

This is the only pho restaurant in the Torrance vicinity where the pho tastes the same when you get it take out as it does when you eat it in the restaurant. Somehow they get the noodles so that it doesn't harden and stays soft when you take it home and dump it in the soup. They package it so it's easy to eat without having to use your own bowls too. The basil leaves and bean sprouts are fresh, which makes me happy. It's a pet peeve of mine when they give you veggies that don't look fresh. I've recently discovered that my toddler will eat her pho noodles with bean sprouts even though she's not a fan of meat, so it's nice when the veggies seem clean and fresh. One of the few really good pho restaurants in the South Bay, with reasonable prices. read more
