Super lame. I had a huge craving for Banh Mi and this is what I got. A slapped together sandwich with barely any papaya salad and no jalapeños, also WAY to much mayo and not even a little bit warmed up. So disappointing. First time coming to this place. Ordered fresh spring rolls,a dac biet rice plate, a small dac biet pho, and a children pho. The spring rolls was just lettuce barely meat, the rice plate wasn't all so great food was small and the shrimp tasted really bad with a after taste. The pho literally had one meatball "ONE" and one small ass tendon that was all a joke. The child pho was probably the only ok looking dish. This place is conveniently located from my boyfriend's house. The first time I dined here for pho was several years ago but I do recall that it was okay. A few months ago a friend ordered us Bahn Mi from here which was also just okay. I may go back someday if we need Vietnamese food in a hurry. It's called Pho Han and not Banh Mi Han for a reason. And, that's why I hit the pho at these joints. Although the hours STATE they are open at 11am on weekdays, that's not necesaarily true as I tried once to enter the premises at 11:09am, but was told they were not ready so I hit the road, jack. But, that's not a justification to affect the score here. The pho dac biet here comes in three sizes and the "XLarge" at $7.25 is a good value that a middleweight could finish off. Service was quick and delivered all the essentials required in a "house special" pho. A slice of rare beef, tripe, bits of tendon resting at the bottom of the bowl, and good quality noodles. The table condiments included fish sauce so I knew this place was good. Unfortunately, the broth was lacking. Slightly thin and light in color. The menu said this was a beef broth but I had to wonder. I am a stickler for a good broth and this left much to be desired. Thankfully, everything else in the bowl worked. The basil was firm, as were the mung bean sprouts. The café sua da is a deal at $2 and is loaded with flavor. The only minor drawback is they mix it for you. You do not get the pleasure of stirring the concentrated French press tonic into the condensed milk then pouring the mixture into the parfait glass full of chunk ice. However, to compensate, you do get a large glassful of electric bliss. Pho and coffee here is one of the better deals in the Lynnwood area and the Picnic Point neighborhood should be thankful for a place like this. No need to travel the 0.4 miles up Hwy. 99 to Phoenix restaurant. Advice for the restaurant: (1) improve the broth to match the quality of its contents and (2) be ready at 11am to serve the public like you advertise. For some of us, time is of the essence. read more

I deducted one star because when you order PhoTai TO GO, you have to ASK FOR THE BASIL. If you don't ask specifically for the basil, you WILL NOT GET IT. To me, that is a required ingredient for the flavor profile. It's not an "extra" to be left off when the TO GO people don't look in the package. Now I look in every one to be sure. It took THIRTY FREAKING MINUTES to get my order!! Thirty minutes for a sandwich and spring rolls I bet anything are pre-made?! Well that's just the start, let's get to the food... One word BLAND! SO bland, SO bad. The tofu was literally sliced right off the block; no seasoning or marinate, not cooked whatsoever! Begs the question... what the hell took so long?! They used iceberg lettuce on the sandwich with minimal vegetables and zero sauce(wth right?). The spring rolls were just as bad, plain tofu, iceberg lettuce, and vermicelli, THATS IT! No basil, no cilantro, NOTHING! Tiny and bland, worse than bland, I actually had to spit it out. And the peanut sauce... wanna guess?! That's right! They are friendly & have quick service which is good & we leave full. their spring rolls are really good as well & are huge! I'm not sure why this restaurant has such a low average rating because this is actually the best pho I've had. The broth is so clear and has a really deep flavor. Everything in the soup was balanced so well. The service was good and the food is SO CHEAP (maybe because of location??). I saw some reviews recently saying it took a while. Our order took longer than normal but it wasn't a bad wait. I think it's important to keep in mind a lot of businesses are family run and potentially very tired and understaffed. They're doing their best to keep afloat. With that said, our food was REALLY GOOD and this is coming from someone who has eaten at many viet restaurants all around greater Seattle. This lady took our order AND cooked. I'm not a Pho connoisseur so take this review for what it's worth. We loved this place! What would make me come back: The pho soup was flavorful and not fatty. It's one of the first times I've finished off the entire soup. Kid size bowls were exactly the size and price option we needed. Other deets: Fresh spring rolls were decent. Pork skewers were what one might expect, those grilled teriyaki like flavor ones, but can't give it a fair review because it was cold by the time we got around to eating because we ate it last. Don't get the boba unless you really need a smoothie bad. The ice wasn't well blended and the powder based flavor was okay but the boba was very sub par. Oh well can't win them all. It looked like they had Thai iced tea on menu which isn't Vietnamese but I like having those types of options. Two big thumbs up we hope to be back. read more

Quite frankly, the discerning factor amongst pho spots would be the broth. The broth here is legit! No watery stuff here - Pho Hue's broth is distinctively rich and so full of flavor. Inside the restaurant there only have one couple who's was meddle eating. Not busy at all. We're order 4 special beef pho and one gọi cuốn, 3 ice coffees, first she's bring out 1 coffee and later is the phos, the foods is no taste. hard to eat! 30 minutes later I asked Her about the other two coffee haven't had yet, she's not happy answer with strong tones " I'm still busy " she said , Therefore I don't recommend this one at all. read more

Nice hole-in-the wall for affordable pho! We had the: Regular size bowl of chicken pho ($4.75) - cheap and delicious. The broth is really flavorful, chicken was not overcooked, lots of fresh veggies, no complaints. Bahn Mi ($2.50) - we tried both the bbq chicken and bbq pork Vietnamese sandwiches, the chicken was tastier. Not the best bahn mi I've had, but the portions were large and the price affordable. Chicken Chow Mein ($5.99) - the noodles were al-dente, which was nice, and the portion was large and not oily, but it was not very well seasoned. Chicken Fried Rice ($5.99) - least favorite dish, pretty bland. Stick with the pho. Overall, this is a clean, family-owned restaurant with friendly service and very affordable prices. ok service was nice. staff was friendly and the place was clean. i was on a lunch break so no time for pho so i ordered a bahn mi and the spring rolls...... both were very low quality. the grilled chicken bahn mi was so stingy on the meat it was mostly bread and they put plain mayo on it. far from a traditional bahn mi. the spring rolls were a complete 0 i had one bite and was turned off. the lettuce was browning the meat was again stingy and the peanut dipping sauce was curdled. not sorry i didn't try the pho but i'm not from here so won't be back. read more
