Visited in the evening on a Thursday. There was only one other customer in the sit down area but I noticed that they had a ton of delivery orders being picked up by drivers throughout the time we were there. There's not a ton of options for pho in Tustin, and this location has always been my second favorite because of how nearby it is to me and the price. They have a lot of signs ourside advertising like three different promotions. There is one that says "buy 2 get one free" but isn't specific on what that applies to, it's for the banh mi sandwiches, which I haven't tried. Assuming that they are running these promos because pho doesn't really sell as much during the summer, it would be great if they had some which applied to the pho. The ambiance was kind of quiet, and the inside was recently upgraded and it does look very nice and modern/clean. They usually have a tv on playing the news or sports but it seemed like it wasn't working or just wasn't on so it was pretty quiet besides the staff members talking from time to time and our table talking amongst each other ofcourse. Pros: you get your food quickly, it comes out hot, service is attentive Con:for the quality which is pretty average, the prices used to be more in line with what you get I got the pho with steak and my husband and sister for the chicken pho, we also ordered the fried dumplings (okay) and I got a Thai tea which I do recommend. Again the pho is good, I like the broth and quality of the meat most of all, the noodles aren't my favorite kind of texture and the taste is a 3/5. Stopped by for lunch on a whim and left full and happy. The place has easy parking which was nice and the service was fast. The location is fairly sizable and has plenty of seating so we got sat fast. Got in our orders and the food came out quickly. Got pho and bun and spring rolls, the pho was solid and flavorful. The bun with beef was tasty and grilled well. The spring rolls too a while to come out but they were so fresh crispy and hot that it was totally worth it. The place isn't fancy but they make up for it with the food which was delicious. Would recommend if you have a Vietnamese craving, and will definitely be back if Im in the area again read more

This was a takeout order, so I can't comment on the atmosphere! But with our order of pho, it was the first time I didn't actually have to reheat the broth at home! The broth was piping hot, which was much appreciated. They even took the care to wrap the raw beef separate to the cooked meats and noodles. Appreciate the attention to detail. For about $18 a dish, the portions were plenty. Please note that my pho was mostly all noodles, though. There is not a lot of meat to noodle ratio, which gets disappointing when you get to the bottom of the bowl. My husband got the fried noodles with a combination of seafood and proteins. Very generous on this end for protein. Egg rolls were delicious, and the accompanying nuoc mam was pretty good. Would have liked a little heat, but we understand the Tustin Crowd. I just had the grilled pork sandwich here, and it was honestly awful. The vegetables were old and wilted, and the pork had a weird, almost spoiled taste -- definitely not grilled properly. You can see in the photo it looks just as bad as it tasted. Now I can see why there was no one there. For $10, this sandwich was absolutely not worth it. I don't recommend this place at all. This was my first negative experience at this establishment. I have been here before, however, today I ordered a dish with crispy noodles, not realizing what they were. When the food arrived, I politely apologized and asked if there was any way the noodles could be exchanged for soft ones. The combination fried rice was massive and had a lot of chicken and Chinese sausage. Was in the mood for some pho and decided to give this place a try. Ordered chicken pho, egg rolls and oxtail pho. Taste: chicken pho The broth was really good in my opinion. Had a slight ginger and lemon grass taste to it. Unfortunately, the chicken was really dry in my opinion. I like to put a lot of chili in my pho and they had Sriracha and sambal. The dish comes with limes, jalapeño and bean sprouts. Oxtail pho The meat was super tender and tasty. It was the better dish of the two. Broth is very similar to the chicken pho. Would definitely recommend this over the chicken Egg rolls. The eggrolls texture was bit rubbery to me, very chewy and not crispy and flaky as eggrolls usually are. This might be a different style of eggroll, but I personally was not a fan of the rubberiness. The taste of Everett was really good especially when dipped in pho Although I enjoyed my meal here, I will continue looking for my pho spot in Tustin. It has been a long time since I first reviewed the spot, and I think I was a tad harsh the last time. I've been lots of times since that early review, and always enjoy it, ordering both Pho and other noodle and rice dishes. In fact, it was one of my sustaining spots when I was having trouble eating years back during some medical issues, ordering pho minus the noodles (they were a bit taken aback with my first time request), so I could get the broth and protein. These days I get eh pho with tendon only, which is really the only protean that works for me in pho, and it is nice and filling, and a good deal. read more

We have been coming to PHV ever since we moved to Tustin and we love it! We have always done takeout and consistently been impressed by their service and food. Even though we haven't dined in, it feels like a classic pho spot, just like the ones in our old neighborhood in GG. We def recommend the pho, which is hard to do well for takeout, but these guys do it well! Our real favorite tho is the eggrolls. They are a solid size and come with Thai basil, lettuce, and pickled veggies to make a delicious wrap! The chicken pho was a good portion and, since i ordered delivery, was packaged perfectly in a bowl with the noodles in it and a separate container with the broth. The broth was also super flavorful and the dish came with a good amount of chicken. In addition to the pho, i got an order of the grilled chicken fresh spring rolls (ga nuong cuon) which weren't quite as good as the pho because the chicken was a bit bitter and the roll was mainly lettuce but the ingredients were fresh and the rolls were quite large. The pho we got wasn't even hot, barely had any noodles, and the BROTH is nasty. It has NO FLAVOR, it's like hot water and chunks of meat. And he forgot to bring our egg rolls out. As soon as we walked in, we knew we should have just left because it looked unsanitary. We could see them mopping black water in the back, probably the same people that handle our food. The food is simple, almost casual even. There is no deviation from its heritage of being a "peasant" dish. It is absolutely delicious and comforting, like visiting mom after moving out for college. Walked in about 15 min after opening and it was empty, the server said we can pick anywhere we'd like. The inside of this restaurant has a lot of windows and natural lighting so it felt very peaceful while dining here. We sat by a window and obviously got service quickly and efficiently.
