There were only a few other tables being occupied at the moment. It was clean and spacious. The banh beo was really good. It was fresh and everything you'd want from your banh beo. As we were eating, an older woman came out and gave us 3 complimentary cups. I wasn't sure what it was. I thought maybe yogurt. My mom tried it and it was tofu. A good palette cleanser. The bun bo hue came out and it wasn't spicy at all. Good for my mom and 2 year old daughter. I separated my daughter's portion into the small bowl they provided (without me having to ask) then added chili oil, that was on the table, to my bowl. It was a little bland in my option, but I just added fish sauce and it was good. I think pricing was reasonable and on par with others in the area. Always love coming here for breakfast after a long night. Bun bo hue is the perfect comfort meal and Hue Kitchen does it so well! Their prices are very reasonable and portion sizes are huge. I was craving banh canh early morning on a Saturday, and this was one of the only places open. You know a restaurant is going to be fire when they only specialize in a handful of items. We got the bun bo hue and the banh canh with thick soup. Both dishes came out really fast in massive bowls. My mom craved banh nam after her facial. I remember seeing this place a while back. I decided to take her to try it. We ordered cha hue, bbh, banh beo, banh nam, and a sugarcane drink. Bun bo hue is my favorite Vietnamese dish and this place does it soooo well. The broth is light yet packed with flavor, and it always comes out at the perfect temperature. We ordered two different noodles bowls so we can try the broth. The soup is flavorful and not overly spicy (so I added chili peppers), the ingredients of pig blood were surprisingly good. The noodles cooked to perfection, and the meatballs are flavorful. I just wish the temperature of the soup was a bit hotter. It was room temperature hot.
