Saturday dinner. Lots of parking. No wait. Very clean and spacious. Friendly and attentive service as usual. Food was prepared at lightning speed and was so satisfying and delicious. Great portions and prices. Lots of meat in their regular pho bowls. Their banh mi sandwiches are the best in OC. Til next time!

Clean and decent pho place! Ha long ba pho and grill is located inside a small lot, plenty of parking. Interior is large with good amount of booth seating. I got a small pho with seafood and my hubby got a pork dish with vermicelli. Pho was flavorful with lots of seafood. My hubbys dish was vinegary with lots of meat. Overall filling and not overly pricy! Would love to try the beef pho here next time.

Ha Long Bay is our go-to local spot for pho. Definitely recommend trying their pho, garlic shrimp, egg and spring rolls. Sometimes there's a wait, but once you're seated the food comes out fast! Seems popular for delivery / pickup. + Ample parking + Ample seating inside + Friendly service + Food is tasty + Prices are reasonable for the area

Our first visit here and we will be back! It has such a homey vibe, great to bring your kids and family after school and all share a good meal in a cozy environment, it's a very casual and welcoming vibe. The food is delicious! We shared a pho dish, seafood fried rice and the calamari. For just the two of us it was great and so affordable! Plenty of parking and close to shopping stores. Friendly welcoming vibes all around!

I had an occasion to stop in for lunch at Ha Long Bay Pho and Grill and was drawn by some of the previously written reviews. The popularity of Vietnamese cuisine has left us with many great options around the County to find the right spot for a bowl of Pho or other tasty preferences. Trying to distinguish a one from another at times can be like splitting hairs over broth quality or unique twists. Seeking one of those unique twists was a big motivation to give Ha Long Bay a try. I'll start with some notable aspects of Ha Long. It is located conveniently just off the freeway and adjacent to main throughfares making it easily accessible from all directions. The restaurant is well maintained with staff who are very attentive and quick to provide you with whatever your need whether it be a sauce or a drink. On this occasion, I ordered a regular bowl of their Pho with Brisket and Spring Rolls with Shrimp and Pork crispers. The Rolls were very large with a traditional dipping sauce. They were prepared with customary contents and left uncut which accentuated their size. Good quality ingredients with a very heavy (thick) sauce that could have used additional flavor as it didn't really enhance the roll which was about average. The bowl of Pho was served in the traditional sense with all of the key ingredients. The ratio of meat to noodles and broth were good. Something to note was the freshness of the side plate of vegetables (sprouts, basil and jalapenos). Very good quality and appropriately ratioed. In my opinion, the broth was a little light on flavoring with a slight hint of star anise and was short on richness. Both dishes hit the mark in terms of quality and while Ha Long may be a favorite for some, I might rely on others for my Pho eating occasions. Overall, Ha Long Bay Pho and Grill was good with many items on the menu from which to choose a fixing for Vietnamese cuisine. The cleanliness of the restaurant and the quality of the ingredients are also things to note. In a pinch, a spot to enjoy a meal, but may not be a favorite for some others around town.

100/10 charbroiled beef with shrimp and egg roll - perfection

Got the charbroiled beef with shrimp and egg roll vermicelli for take out and GIRL it was phenomenal! So fresh, flavors were perfect, egg roll was cooked to perfection and portion size was generous. The service is also amazing & servers are super sweet. Will be back soon!

There's about 3 pho places in Tustin I can think of and this is by far the worst one sadly. Came here on a Friday night and there were a good amount of tables open but they seem understaffed so we waited a while to be seated. Maybe I'm not used to waiting for pho at all the places I've been to, but this place took extremely long for the food to come out. The pho wasn't anything special and the meat was really tough. Towards the end of my bowl, I find a small piece of hair that looked like a beard hair and left it on the side. I'm a little grossed out and stir my soup around until I find another one. We also ordered egg rolls and they were super hot, and crispy but they only give one little tiny piece of lettuce with it. There another pho place next to stater bros that is amazing though.

Delicious vegetarian pad see ew with (hu tieu, rice noodles). Unbeatably delicious, reasonably priced, and huge portions. My parents love their seafood/combination pad see ew and have tried their mi xao (egg noodles) and Pad Thai. Their vegetarian egg rolls was delicious, hot, and fresh as well. We haven't tried their pho yet, but plan to on a future visit. Service is fast and friendly and there is plenty of parking.

Very clean, upscale nicely decorated Vietnamese restaurant with fast, efficient service and good Phó quality and adequate quantity but missing one ingredient, the authentic, depth of truly well-prepared, old, amazing Phó soup with bone, chicken and other secret ingredients that I have no clue about but my taste buds simply can pick out among many hundreds of Phó places. The complex, hot, deep Phó place, this isn't. Even their $14 appetizer chicken wings are dry and not moist. The fried batter was acceptable but once again there was no deep delicate balance of quality chicken wings only available with culinary skills and style that require patience and know-how of master chéf from the Vietnamese mainland. This is definitely a missing ingredient of this restaurant. Solid 3 Stars for clean nice service but foods need a little help. I love Phó and everything about Vietnamese cuisine but I do have very selective, discerning taste since I was introduced by my colleague roommate. His maternal grandmother was fresh from Saigon with master's culinary skills and style that I was really privileged to taste and learn what it's really about the most authentic and amazingly delicious Vietnamese French cuisine should be.

Any gluten-free food available? Many brands of fish sauce contain gluten (hydrolyzed vegetable protein) so I’m trying to find pho that uses gluten-free fish sauce.

Beef Rib Stick Pho: This is the most highly recommended dish on the menu. Two giant bone-in short ribs stretch across the bowl, packed with flavor and so tender the meat falls right off the bone. A few bonus slices of fatty brisket are also hidden beneath the noodles. Combination Chow Mien: Similar to Cantonese crispy noodles. Loaded with meats and veggies in a light gravy. The top layer softens as it absorbs the sauce, while the bottom stays crispy--a fantastic mix of crunchy and tender textures. Julienne Pork, Egg Quiche, and Charbroiled Porkchops: Huge combo platter. Fresh, crisp veggies--though the side soup leans a bit heavy on MSG. Lychee Delight: Pretty average. Too sweet--needs to be diluted with water. The four lychees at the bottom are dull white and taste purely of sugary canned syrup.
