We always shop at Foodland and pass it but wondered why we've never had it....so we finally decided to one day and it was the best decision! This location is located in Kapolei Village Center near Gina's and Mattress Firm. The parking lot is tight (IYKYK) but there are plenty of stalls. We went around lunch time on a weekday and only had two other parties. The interior was smaller than we expected, but we didn't mind - I'm not sure how crowded it gets during a weekend or lunch/dinner rush. We ordered: Thai tea, summer rolls with shrimp, medium combo pho, and large chicken pho. The Thai tea is such a generous size with the amount that you pay and it's so refreshing especially to cool your mouth off when you ask for a side of jalapenos for your pho! The summer rolls were thick and fresh but the rice paper could have done a smidge longer soaked in the water. Chicken pho was good - some parts were a little dry but it was in the broth so it wasn't too bad. The combo pho (I ordered medium) was a perfect size for me but didn't have as much tripe or tendon as I wanted. The highlight for us was probably the broth. 95% of the time I love to add hoisin or garlic to my broth, but this is probably the first time I've never had to add anything else to it because it was SUPER flavorful and the perfect amount of sweet already. Our server did not necessarily keep coming up to ask if we were okay but we noticed him keep looking at us and visually checking. Overall, this place is 5/5 and definitely would come back. We love pho and we're so happy there's one super close to us. Thank you for the yummy food and good service!

Pho is one dish I can eat almost every day. My favorite place to get pho is Kapolei Pho. They are the sister company to Pho Waipahu which I also like but if I had to choose, I would definitely come to Pho Kapolei. The service there is always wonderful and I love how clean and cozy the restaurant is. Of course the pho is delicious and always on point.

Using your noodles... After some shopping that's most definitely cardio it was much needed break for some lunch and taking mom it's a no brainer that she wanted some pho and not quite familiar with the area I did a Yelp search to have found Pho Kapolei located in Kapolei Village Center which a lovely spot filled with so much to choose from including Foodland but thankfully we decided on Pho Kapolei and with a decent amount of free parking available it was an easy spot to choose. Walking in the restaurant is quite cute and cozy with a few tables their menu offering is quite impressive with quite a lot of varieties to choose from and and can see where I get the indecisiveness from as mom hopped from pho to summer rolls to bánh mì but ended up with Tofu Vegetable Pho and with that decided on the BBQ Chicken & Spring Rolls Vermicelli. Honestly I ordered that because she wanted spring rolls but are able to only eat one and I didn't want to order a whole set and thought it was more practical though wished that the other vermicelli dishes came with it too but it didn't and was offered to order a la carte pieces which was a turn off. She liked her pho but thought it lacked some flavor in her opinion while I did enjoy mine as the chicken was nice and juicy while spring rolls were crispy and hot the amount of sauce given was quite the insult as it didn't come close to flavor the entire dish as a one ounce ramekin is quite stingy and ended up eating my dish dry without sauce. Yes I could've asked for more but the standard was very minimal though the restaurant was nice and clean it seemed like the single friendly staff was doing it all and seemed overwhelmed. Thank you!

When we were picking up dinner for my friend's husband, we decided to try this place out since we were craving Vietnamese food. She's never had a vermicelli bowl so i had to have her try one. The spring rolls were so crunchy and yummy! The sauce could have been more potent, it tasted a little watered down/lacked flavor. I like my sauce to be a little more fishy. The noodles were perfectly cooked and the vegetables were fresh! I'd recommend if you're in the area to try this place!

The city of Kapolei on Oahu is my new Mecca for pho. Kapolei is a little bit out of the way for this townie but I'd be happy to take that 20 minute drive. Thanks to Yelp's recommendation, I discovered a second Vietnamese pho restaurant with a truly beefy tasting broth. It's a fatty, beefy mildly sweet and herbie soup that's awesome on its own. Don't need to squirt the hoisin to bring up the flavor like in those other places. Pho Kapolei is at a mini mall on Kapolei Parkway, in between Costco and Kapolei High School. It seats about 25 people and has the AC cranked up. The gentleman running the front had it going smooth. My food order came quickly. Everyone dining in was given equal attention. The take-out orders were handled efficiently. The

Beef Meatballs Pho ($16.95 for medium): the broth is good!

=== 1. VERDICT/VALUE There are cheaper options for pho in town, but if you're in Kapolei and have a hankering for Vietnamese food, this should be an option for you. Note: there is no keiki menu, so be prepped to share if you dine with a little one! === 2. FOOD Summer Rolls ($11.95) Well-wrapped, decent crunch, seemingly done fresh, served with lukewarm peanut sauce - yum! Beef Meatballs Pho ($16.95 for medium size) Three meatballs cut in half to produce six pieces - it was good to share with my little guy and the broth was decent too - even he wanted more of it :) Steak, Brisket, Tendon Pho ($16.95 for medium size) Similar story here too - good broth, good dish! === 3. SERVICE We dined in and the service was good from ordering to receiving our dishes, refill of waters. They spoke in English (thankfully) but also Mandarin it seems too. === 4. ENVIRONMENT Bright and clean, we were comfortable dining in with a little one. You might be able to fit a group of 8 if needed but likely want to stick with a group of four or less in this place. Wheelchairs and baby strollers would not have an issue here. Parking is as good as your luck is in the shopping complex lot out front - which is often a little busy in the evenings!

First time dinning in and right off the bat menu and water came right to the table ordered some summer rolls and some spring roll both was fresh and hot not saggy like some other spot, For the pho it's was hella good broth was real good and dammm it was almost clear to the point you could see the bottom of the bowl but in all the waygu pho a must if you dropping in to eat highly recommend it coming back asap on the next lunch time.... They also get different noddles just ask

Got the medium combo pho and a viet coffee. Broth is very flavorful, just wished they gave a little bit more meat and added tripe into the "combo." Viet coffee was too sweet, which you can tell by the color, which is why I deducted a star.

Came here as a recommendation from a coworker and I AM NOT DISAPPOINTED! First impression is this place is super clean! Made me feel confident that my food was prepared in a clean kitchen. My friend recommended the BBQ chicken and vermicelli. After talking with the owner, she suggested I get it with spring rolls. It took about 10 minutes to cook which meant it was fresh. The plate was huge! The veggies were fresh and showed no signs of being old or wilted. The vermicelli wasn't over/under cooked. The chicken were good cuts of meat, and the rolls were nice and crispy = broke da mout! Overall it came just over $18, well worth it. Definitely will be a repeat customer.

My family and I dined here last night, and the experience was excellent. I ordered a medium brisket pho, which was outstanding--the brisket was tender, and the broth had a rich, balanced flavor. I also appreciated the vibrant, green interior décor, with healthy plants that created a refreshing and positive atmosphere. The service was attentive as well; our water glasses were consistently refilled without needing to ask.

Went in on a Saturday evening and sat right down on a booth. Service was fast The waitress took our order and brought out our waters and food. Having a grandmother who lived in Saigon and only made vietnamese cuisines this pho was spot on! Definitely the best broth I've had. The Papaya salad was so flavorful and gave the right kick. The only dish that was disappointing was the fried chicken. It was plain and salty, wasn't a favorite. Another thing was the waitress misheard one of our orders, my husband ordered the bbq plate but they gave him a bbq banh mi. We didn't make a fuss and just ate it. It was really good.

Tried this place for the first time and we are glad we did! The nearest Vietnamese restaurant to our home unfortunately closed and he haven't found a good one yet. Husband got the Pho and I got the vermicelli noodles with pork and spring rolls. Food is delicious! Service was good! We will come back!

I have to say that this is one of my favorite places on the west side of Oahu for Pho, Tofu Pad Thai, Lemon grass tofu sandwich and Shrimp Papaya salad. The food, price, and service are all great. Everything is tasty, affordably priced, and quick friendly service. Menu is decent sized with a variety of dishes with the usual classic Vietnamese dishes and boba drinks. I normally go for the Shrimp Papaya Salad. It's a healthy and fresh menu item. Other tables around me seem to be ordering Pho. Pho appears large and generously filled with lots of veggies and meats. By the size of them, you will not leave hungry. Parking is convenient and free as it's located in the Foodland Shopping center. The restaurant is quiet and small to where you can have a conversation. Definitely will be back and recommend this place.

The ice cream shop is fairly small- can't hold a lot of people and no seating inside, but there's plenty of tables outside, and the weather outside was just perfect with some sun and a breeze! The line moves quickly, so ordering isn't a pain at all! I ordered their calamansi dreamsicle and my husband got their root beer float, and both were 10/10! My husband had the root beer float, which had their house-made vanilla ice cream and root beer from Maui Brewing Company (I didn't even know they made root beer)! It was delicious as well- I loved that I was able to see little black specks of vanilla bean in the ice cream, and the root beer had hints of honey in it! My husband and I knew the root beer tasted different (in a good way), but couldn't put our finger on it until I read the ingredients and saw that honey was one of them! Super yummy!! All in all, my husband and I agreed that we'll be coming back again to try different flavors!
