This place looked nice by appearance but after trying their service and food. Not impressed! I had their teriyaki plate & my friend had their Pho. It was "ugh, blah" Nothing stood out, the waiter barely came to our table. When we were ready to pay we waited almost 20 minutes for a take home box for the pho & wondered when we'd get our bill. After, waving a waiter down is when they told us. "Oh, you pay over there." I spent maybe $11 here, I could of just got fast food for this little service & blan food. Delicious quick friendly service. I enjoy the pho broth here very much so. Among other things to get here like the rice dishes, vermicelli noodle bowls, chicken noodle soup one of my favorites is the bun rieu. This taste is not for the bland liking folks. There's full of flavor in this crab/shrimp tomato soup base with crab patties and pork hocks. This tastes delicious in place of bbh for hangovers if needed. I enjoy the setting of the restaurant as well. Tvs are everywhere just in case you eat your pho super slow, which is frowned upon because pho is a relatively quick meal, slurp and go, not eat and linger. Yes the parkings weird, and if you go during busy times you might wait, common sense aside. The place is great! The service was fast and the pho had more meat and tripe then I'm use to, one of the rare time i cant finish a bowl. The iced coffee was ice cold and great tea was fresh! The pho and the lemongrass chicken bun hit the spot on a cold, rainy night, and the salad rolls with tofu were quite delicious. I guess I'll compare this place to the other pho place we frequent - Pho Hung on 82nd. First off, the were out of the fish/shrimp wrap on a Saturday morning. :( So, I got the vermicelli bowl with egg roll and pork. A plus is their large portion. It was a huge bowl. However, the pork was more fatty than Pho Hung and the egg roll was more greasy. I also think that the Vietnamese coffee at Pho Hung is better. It's not as bitter. Service was very friendly and the food came out quickly. My husband did enjoy his large pho portion. The noodles have more chew than at Pho Hung. This place is very spacious and cleaner than your average Asian restaurant. We'll be back, but Pho Hung is still my favorite. read more

Pho kim is one of my favorite places to get pho in Portland. I've eaten here plenty of times, and it's always been pretty consistent. I usually order the regular super bowl small, and the bun bo hue! I've also tried their vegetarian pho and I'm a fan of everything I've tried. Their rice dishes are also amazing! My boyfriend and I come here regularly, and we always get our order out to us super quick. I really like that the parking is quite large, so it doesn't make it difficult to find parking. The workers are very friendly, and I can happily say pho kim is one of my #1 go to places for whenever I'm craving pho, bun bo hue, or a rice dish. We'll see you soon pho kim! ;) read more

I really love Pho Kim! Out of all the Pho places I've been, Pho Kim's broth is by far the best. It's not too sweet and at the same time it's not too salty. I usually get the Pho Special (Pho Dac Biet) but their Bun Mang Vit is delicious as well! The place is very clean with friendly staff. Just writing here so people know, you pay for your meal at the cashier. It's just the way that they run the business, so whenever you're ready they'll be ready for you at the front! read more

I gotta say. the last couple of times have been pretty decent for me. especially their bun rieu which is crab noodle soup for those who dont know. I would only recommend their bun rieu and rice dish. pho is pretty much white washed (bland), duck noodle is one of the worst and bun bo hue is just okay (better than pho hung). This place is amazing! It's a bit confusing entering from the back of the restaurant because it actually feels like the back entrance. There's three "Front Counters" so it feels awkward. You pay at the counter that's located in the back of the resturaunt on the far side by the parking lot window. Aside from that, customer service is what you'd expect from a typical Asian mom and pop shop. They're not trying to be rude on purpose, but they're really blunt about things. I ordered the Pho Tai and the Bun Bo Hue. The moment you get your veggies, you can tell if it will serve you authentic and good vietnamese food. Bun Bo Hue should come with mung bean sprouts, shredded cabbage, and banana leaves!! This one doesn't have banana leaves but that's alright. The broth for it is underwhelming but you'll still taste the essence of bun bo hue. The texture of the pork blood and the meat was phenomenal! It's really, really chewy and bounces in your mouth a bit. Eating it while sipping on the soup just brings in a nice combination of flavors! The Pho also had an amazing texture for the meat and noodles but what blew me away there was the soup base. It's nice and fatty (which isn't a bad thing) which really kicks you in the face with flavor. Mix some Hoisin Sauce and Sriacha with the meat and a bit in the soup base and you have a wonderful bowl of pho that will cure any ailment!(not really but pho is incredibly tasty and leaves you with a sense of zen after a hangover). Tl;dr: Pho broth is good, meat and noodles is nice and chewy. Interior is a bit confusing, dont expect Michelin star service, and the wait time for food was not long at all. Less than five minute wait. Minus points for the confusing interior and the underwhelming bun bo hue. read more

I've been here many times. Their Pho can be pretty satisfying. The Bun Bo Hue is pretty terrifying, but I'd imagine that some people are genuinely into that sorta thing. Sometimes, their pho is the top of the heaps... other times it's like they run out of goodies and just throw greasy blobs of fat into the mix. Very solid quality Pho, always fresh and flavorful. The place is clean - a very nice touch is a hand-washing sink when you just at the entrance. You don't have to use the restroom just to wash your hands. (Restroom is very clean and functional, by the way.) Service is very prompt and courteous. Good ol' fashioned Viet fare of pho and pho house derivatives. We love this place for the pho, rice bowls, and vermicelli bowls. Because it is a "real" pho house, expect food quality to be prioritized over Western aesthetics and service like you would find at Pho Van. This is reflected in the family friendly prices. If you want authentic pho, do what the Asians do: eat at Pho Kim. read more

This is one of the better pho places I've been to. It was a Saturday night and I spent most of the day working and after work all I wanted to do was chill. Hours passed and I got beyond hungry and since I'm going to Vietnam in a couple months it only felt right to get more excited by eating Vietnamese food haha but by the time I wanted food it was 8:30pm and Oregon pho was just closing and since I'm not from the area I had no idea where to go. All I knew is I was starving for Pho. I asked one of the workers there where I could go for good pho late at night and he looked around and with his broken English he asked for my phone and put this place in my gps and said I will like it and that they close late. I don't want to blame it on the hunger but wow he was right. I loved it so much. For just $9.50 I got a huge huge bowl of pho soup. I'm a guy that eats a lot and this was 4 times the amount of soup that I could devour. The meat was incredibly tender and tasty. I highly recommend this place to any late hungry eaters. read more

I used to love this place when the new owner took over this place. I don't know if they have new cooks. But the flavor isn't there anymore. I can say they are a bit stereotypical because there was a white man sitting at a table next to us and he got his water refilled and i literally went the whole meal without any water.
