They've been only open for 2 weeks so maybe they are working out the kinks but this was certainly below average. For their Grand Opening they are offering "buy one get one free". That's making an already cheap meal to about the price of a latte. However, if you are talking quality, it was sub-par. - broth was watery; no depth at all. - ice berg lettuce in the salad rolls? Truly terrible salad rolls. Come correct. Put some herbs and put real lettuce in there. We're not in Tuscon Arizona here. We know good salad rolls. - Flies all around my table. Good thing I was able to Mr. Miyagi them with my chopsticks but it didn't add to the meal. Hopefully, they'll get better. I won't be back. Whenever I'm in Portland, I eat pho almost every day. My friend took me to Pho Kim to get some pho, and while the broth was delicious, what I've really fallen in love with is their Beef Stew, or Bo Kho. Topped with cilantro, and complimented with fresh French baguette bread, this stew warms your soul like no other. Every person I've brought with me to try it has been instantly hooked. read more

We usually come here, not for pho, but for hu tieu (the clear noodle soup similar to pho but with different toppings). Pho is ok at this restaurant but not so great. My nieces and my daughter love clear noodle soup so this is our place to go for those. Service at the table is hit and miss, sometimes it's quick and sometimes it takes forever to get someone's attention, especially when we need them to fix something. But then we usually don't expect great customer service at most Asian restaurants because they are practically non-existent. This restaurant got our orders wrong a few times so we had to send them back to the kitchen. Hu tieu is good most of the time and that's the only reason why we come back. read more

They don't have vegetarian pho! When I asked about it they said they would make it but the tofu was so fried I couldn't eat any of it. Also, the vegetarian pho they did make was served in beef broth which was just so odd. The serving size was poor. The beans, and other garnishes were pretty old and should not have been served. The deem vegetarian salad rolls as ones with shrimp. Sad for how much money they dumped into remodeling. This place is awful. Go to Pho Oregon. read more

This is probably my second favorite pho restaurant in Portland! My favorite is Pho Oregon but I personally would rather go to Pho Kim since it's closer and I like the interior better. It's very spacious and clean inside. read more

I love this place. It's my favorite pho restaurant in Oregon. I pretty much come here with my husband twice a week. The interior is very neat and standard. They have very good pho and grilled pork. They have the best Chicken Pho in town!!! My only down problem is the customer service. Whenever I visit the restaurant, after they bring you ur foods, they will barely pay attention to you because all they pay attention to is the TV. My bf and I drank all the water and no one refill it even when we asked them to. They tend to have their headphones on while doing their job which is a no no. read more

This is a broken down review: 1.5/5 stars for the service, 4.5/5 for the food, 3/5 overall experience. When I walked in, I wasn't greeted for a good 10 minutes, & I was only after I flagged down a man who was watching the television instead of paying attention to the front door. I was seated at a table of my choice, then noticed the grimy utensils & table that was hurriedly cleaned from the customers before. The menu was confusing because the prices were obvious on only a 1/3 of the menu, other dishes were marked as D1 (?) what does that even mean? I ordered my pho, & man did it make up after the rough start. The flavor was right, the ingredients were perfect & authentic. The coagulated blood chunks were delicious & everything was cooked perfectly. After I finished, I waited another 15 until the manager noticed I needed help..thanks for noticing? I asked where I had to pay, he pointed to the back & I paid leaving a meager tip because of the confusion that was caused. Long story short, come for the food, not for good service. read more

I have not made any reviews on yelp because I never felt mad enough to talk bad about a place. I came in here at 9:30 pm pst trying to get a bowl of pho and the guy said they closed. They obviously had about 10+ tables inside. Even though they close at 10, I should still be able to come in and just eat a bowl of pho that shit wouldn't even take that long. I bet their boss wasn't there that's why he tried to not let people in and get off super early or on time. But one extra bowl of pho ain't gonna fking take any longer when you have so many tables left over. If you are the boss and reading this. Make sure you hire someone reliable to take care of your place. read more

I like it. Kids friendly as it's kinda noisy so you don't have to worry about keeping them quiet. Friendly employees and they are all nice to kids. Fast service and reasonable price. It's a hard location to get out of the parking lot when you are heading south on 82nd. Plenty of seats. We will keep eating there! read more

Don't get me wrong, the food was great (pho #3) and the portions were large - a little under seasoned, but I like dressing up my pho anyway - lots of meat and the noodles weren't stuck together, which happens all too often at other places. The decor was cool (though the huge TVs were off-putting) and I loved the huge booths. But let's be honest, food and decor are only part of the dining experience. The service killed it for me - the food came out quickly, but other than that, meh. The wait staff was inattentive at best - as in, nowhere around once we put in our food order. We didn't even get ice water until 25 minutes into our meal. It took another 15 minutes after we were ready to go to get someone's attention for to-go containers. And the only reason we knew how to pay was by watching other customers. Why'd they have to go an ruin what could be a great thing? read more

Probably my favorite pho place in Portland! The broth here has a very clean taste and doesn't have an inch of oil floating at the top like most places do. Meats are good, veggies are fresh. Really nothing bad to say about this place other than the fact that if you come during peak hours don't really expect your waiters to remember to bring you extra limes/condiments/etc if you asked them to. read more

We stood in line to pay, when it was my turn to pay another MAN walked up next to me and the owner helped him first instead and me! Not sure why he did that because he saw I was standing there first. I enjoyed my pho number 3 it was a little more sweeter then I like. However, it was very good especially for a to go order. Their spring rolls are the best I've ever had. Not greasy like some places. I got an order of pho to-go and when I got home I was extremely disappointed in the quality of the meat and flavor of the soup. I thought I'd found the best Vietnamese in these parts......until my Vietnamese friend took me there for late lunch a couple weeks ago. The wait staff were very friendly and helpful without being overly attentive. I ordered Bun cha (absolutely delicious, good for body and soul)! My friend had a fish pho that was equally amazing. The prices are ridiculously low, the tea is a lovely green tea, the promptness of service, particularly as they were very busy, was very quick. All in all, a thoroughly pleasant experience. I've recommended it to people since then who echo what I've said here. Go. You'll be back again and again. read more

Also had the salad rolls which were very fresh, unlike many other places that seem to have prepared them ahead of time making the ingredients dried out. Not the case here. A very clean open spacious restaurant. You wouldn't think that from the look of it from the outside but inside with the high ceilings is a nice touch to it. One of my favorite places to go for big groups or small groups. The wait staff is consistent they are nice, friendly and knows how to give space. For some reason every time I go here I always have good talks with my friends the irony of it all. But they are so nice to let us just sit there and catch up and talk with each other not pushy like other restaurants. Not only the atmosphere is nice the food here is by far one of the best compared to over surrounding pho places I would prefer to go here any day! The rice and noodle dishes are by far one of the best the meat is grilled and juicy not burnt and overcooked and dry. The rice and noodle dishes are always consistent and I can always get one of these two and know that I won't be disappointed! Pho here is always on point! I have never been disappointed. The pho bowl here is very basic like other places but the broth is a very clean taste and full of flavor the bowl is a good size with lots of meat. And always give a good amount of vegetables to eat with pho. This place gives a decent size This place is truly comfort food on any day of the week I know I can always come here when I miss home! My family used to be loyal customers of this restaurant. But I think this will be the last time we eat here. Our waiter was unprofessional and did not care to meet our needs. He was all over the place. Yes, we get you are busy but please be respectful and attentive to your customers needs. He prompted to serve us the 2 bowls of pho we ordered but forgot to take down the 2 additional orders we had. We followed up with him twice to ask when the food will arrive as we waited an hour. Nothing. His response simply was: "I forgot to take down your order. We are busy." I'm sorry, but that is not an excuse. When the food came out, the noodles and meat were cold and pretty much uncooked. We were missing part of our orders. Everything went wrong. I am usually not one to complain. But the service was terrible. As a Vietnamese person, I know how pho is suppose to taste & this is not it. Do not waste your time here! read more
