It's amazing how delicious and addicting their pho is. Unfortunately they're closed until December 19th. I only know this because that's what the sign said on their door when I arrived on December 12th looking for my fix. I cried out in anguish. I felt a deep sense of loss that made me sick to my stomach. I dropped to my knees. "All is lost", I whispered into the cold darkness. My body began to shiver and sweat. Curled up in the fetal position sucking my thumb is how the red cross found me. They tried to comfort me. Explaining that it was only a week away. They didn't understand. Nobody understands. The main problem was that some of the people working there weren't wearing masks. Oh, they had them on...pulled down to the chin or below the nose. When I asked the guy who was passing our table to please put his mask on, his rationale was that this is a restaurant and I was eating without a mask. He was angry. He pulled the mask up and marched to the back then he pulled it down and wiped his nose on his hand. Would go here again? If you look for Asian food, this might be one of the places that you could consider. They serve Korean, Japanese, Vietnamese, and American food. We tried all of them. Pho does not have the authentic taste but the portion is generous. You can think of it as the price as a regular size pho but the portion is a large. Pho taste a bit mild and does not have the rich broth taste. Some people might like it this way because it is less oily. Also their meat bowl (unlikely pho, this dish comes with no soup) has very dried meat. I tried both pork and beef meat bowl. Meats are overcooked and some portions are burned. They do sell limited Korean food and they are authentic and delicious. One of the reasons might be the owner is Korean. One thing that does not come with Korean meal is free side dishes (banchan) that normally accompany with Korean meal. Japanese sushi rolls and bento box are okay and I do not recommend as this restaurant is not specialized for the Japanese cuisine. Quality and taste are similar to Asian buffet. Lastly, American, they do have limited dishes and we tried two of them. One of them was chicken nuggets. It was surprisingly good. Fries are done right and less oily. Their service is very friendly and the restaurant is not a fancy restaurant (more like Teriyaki joint). The beef pho was really good. It's also a huge portion I couldn't finish it all. The spicy terriyaki chicken was also great. Taro bubble tea was so good, I still can't believe it's sweet potatoes. It tastes like sugar cookies. Customer service was really good, they were quick and answered any questions. Made sure our waters and soda were filled. easily one of my favourite restaurants i always love their cream cheese butterflies, shrimp, and coconut milk sauce (which goes well with just about anything) their boba is supreme; cold, thick, flavourful, and has a large variety of delicious jellies and pearls the pork rice bowl is fantastic, and with the coconut milk sauce on top, its DIVINE the only issue i have is that it gets fairly busy, and we have to wait for about 10-20 minutes most of the time still, 9/10 in my book read more

As someone from a big city area I am not sure whether it'd be fair to hold this restaurant to that standard but I am relieved to see a pho restaurant somewhere here! The service was great and food came out timely but my friend and I felt there were a lot of MSG in our beef combo phos as we found ourselves to be very thirsty post-meal. As a Houston native, home to the largest Vietnamese diaspora outside California, I feel entitled to be a little snobby with my Vietnamese food. Pho king crab tastes closer to home than anything else I've found in Yakima. Pho here makes pho that I've tried at other Asian restaurants in the Yakima valley look like a joke. I won't name any names. Food here is authentic! I've had the beef pho and the seafood noodle soup, which were both tasty. It looks they have only 1 option for beef pho (combination: brisket, tendon, tripe, meatballs) but I'm sure you could ask for your own preference. The pork banh mi was interesting. The meat used was different that what I'm accustomed to (bbq pork in Houston). It was the kind of meat you'd see in a charbroiled Vietnamese noodle dish. The bread was softer, unlike the crispy French bread I'm used to, but not bad! Like all of the small ethnic restaurants I've been to here in the valley, this one seems family-owned and operated. They are understaffed so service will probably be a bit slow, but they are friendly and hardworking! I've found my spot for comfort Vietnamese cuisine. read more

I have visited several times and I was happy the first time. I was looking for a restaurant to eat at everyday and this was not it. The food wasn't great and the service was increasingly bad with every visit. On our third visit, the server just scoffed at us and left when we said we were ready to order. I get the impression they're having a hard time and don't really want or need any more customers. They really made us feel like they wanted us to go home. I ordered the spring rolls and a pork banh mi. One order came with three large, fresh spring rolls with shrimp and pork and peanut sauce. They were fresh and a great value. The banh mi was unfortunately not my favorite. It was just one of those things were the individual ingredients were good (flaky bready, fresh veggies), but they just didn't come together as well as I would have liked. I'm soooo glad there is finally a good place to get some Pho in Union Gap/Yakima. My friends and I have been here so many times the owner and wait staff know us by name. When ordering, you can't go wrong with a #1, Beef Pho with everything in it. Tripe, tendon, meatballs, brisket...everything. Huge crab tank near the kitchen, so you can watch the crabs fight with eachother while eating your Pho. Haven't tried their Cajun food considering it's all seasonal, but why would you want to eat crawfish when they offer such good Pho and fresh springrolls? This is definitely the place to go for amazing pho, or some beef teriyaki. I've only had pho in and around the Seattle area, but I am pleasantly surprised that I can get it right here at home. When I walked in, the server was very friendly asking me if I was eating in or taking out. He immediately took my order when I sat down. I ordered both the deep fried shrimp and fresh spring roles for appetizers thinking that it wouldn't be that much food. They came out really quick. The deep fried shrimp were lightly battered almost like tempura. The spring roles blew my mind they were so good, I almost wish that I would have just gotten two more orders of each instead of ordering the seafood pho.
