Delicious pho!!! My favorite is the chicken, but my family enjoys the steak pho. Both are super tasty! We always get the spring roll appetizer, but if you are gluten free avoid the peanut dipping sauce... Another go to delicious dish is the vermicelli noodle dish! Super good pho I usually go with the chicken or beef with the fresh spring rolls! Hands down best fresh spring rolls in town with super affordable pricing. The family that owns it is super nice I go in pretty regularly the gentleman taking orders is on top of what you order and always remembers what you had before. The shrimp app was good though didn't look quite like the photo on the menu. Fish app had three big pieces of fish deep fried with a side of tartar sauce. The short rib rice plate had a lot of meat and was very tasty. For the mains we had the beef pho and vermicelli with pork. Both had great portions of meat and noodles. read more

Being from salt lake where Vietnamese food is everywhere, I've been dying for a banh mi since being in the Yakima valley. I've yet to find amazing cheap authentic ethnic food, until today with pho king crab. First of all, the name is awesome. Second I was in a hurry and they made it within ten minutes to go. I've had countless spring rolls and the spring rolls at Pho King Crab are better than any spring rolls I've had in the Seattle area. They taste soft, fresh, and come with a top tier peanut sauce. The spring rolls are carrying this four-star rating for me. The pho was decent. I wasn't impressed but it had flavor and was still a positive experience to eat and I would go back if I had a hankering for pho in the Yakima area. Want to know how good this place is, I have literally abandoned my family (for one meal) to go there. I left those fools to eat Applefleas while I get some fresh homemade pho. This place is a lucky find for someone living in central Washington. I used to live on the other side of the mountains, so Vietnamese food is not new to me, so believe me when I say this place is legit. Real and good food. The staff, seem to know half their patrons by other when they walk in the door. Price is fair, taste is great, service is quick, and their variety is adequate. You will find something you like. Pho is great, so are the sandwiches (Bahn Mi). Love going there. Dont expect great atmosphere, but in a way that adds to its charm. I will go back as soon as I can. read more

ATMOSPHERE: It's a nice clean place. I'm coming from Las Vegas where there are plenty of Pho places but Pho King Crab is much cleaner than many of the ones I've been to back at home. Glad the TV was on ESPN and there was a lot of space for people to sit. FOOD: I ordered beef brisket and steak pho and my girlfriend ordered seafood pho. We both have eaten a lot of pho and agreed that his broth was by far one of the best we've had. It was clear and clean and wasn't as salty as some we've had before. It was also a little more sweet and fragrant which we both the liked. The size of the bowl was solid and the garnishments were fresh. SERVICE: The guys were really nice. Got to talk to them for a little bit and they were cool. They also seemed really attentive to other guests so that made me feel comfortable. A nice addition to Yakima...a town in desperate need of good restaurants. The food is on the better end of Asian in Yakima...average in a good size city. It's new, so I'd like to try a few more things. I had the ginger and scallion prawns with a side of steamed rice ...seemed a bit pricey at $18. That being said, there was a big serving and they were pretty good(and good sized) shrimp. I've certainly paid just shy of that for 5 shrimp at a steakhouse. Service could be improved, but you don't do to Vietnamese restaurants for service or atmosphere...you go to eat. I'll go back and try more things. Glad it's here. read more

I absolutely love this place! They have the biggest bowls I've had at a Pho place. I wouldn't recommend having the takeout unless you have the proper bowl to hold the soup. If you are just visiting Yakima and you do not have the proper bowl then don't take out and instead eat in. I'd highly recommend, the Tofu-Vegetable Pho, its my favorite! read more

It's great to have two very good places for pho in Yakima. I like the "Famous" place also, but this one in Union Gap is more convenient to where I live. Nothing fancy as far as the decor, but clean, neat, and well-lit. The food is excellent. We usually get the Spring Rolls appetizer, and the pho (or "noodle soup" as it's called on the menu). My wife usually gets the shrimp and I the seafood - we both love it! read more

First time in, gal that helped take my order didn't know what I was talking about when I asked for chicken friend rice which is on their menu, also wasn't sure about Dr Pepper for a drink instead settles for bottled soft drink to help situation, I paid $13 and some change. When getting my order I normally don't check because I trust who I'm buying from I get back to work as I'm on lunch and Al I got was an order of crab cakes which I never wanted. I ordered the spicy chicken teriyaki. Good rice, good sauce, but the chicken had the consistency of a McRib or one of those cheap fake processed meat hams sold at some grocery stores. My wife had the chicken pho which was quite good. I got the bahn mi. In my opinion a bahn mi is made by the bread. The overall inside of the sandwich was great but the bread was not cooked right and not a true baguette. The ends were great but the center was quite soggy and did not have the same crunch I have come to expect from bahn mis. From now I will stick with the pho. read more

So far, this is the only Vietnamese restaurant I have tried where the pho is truly tasty and authentic. The broth is deep and rich, spiced in the proper way for pho. And it is served with a good variety of garnishes and spicey sauces. On top of that, the service is superb - personal and prompt. This is "our place" in Yakima. read more

Not so good pho. The broth tastes very wierd when me and my wife went. Had a "twang" taste, best way we could describe it. Normal pho juice should make you want to fight for that next slurp. This actually made me put down my spoon and scarf down the noodles and steak. The steak is cut perfectly, and I always order extra. They gave a bunch.
