We went here today and the only reason I'm not giving it five stars is that our waitress forgot our appetizer and brought our main dishes, then we had to eat our appetizer with our main food. Amazing service and the pho is to die for! I am a huge pho fan and try to find places that serve it when I travel. I had the beef pho and a glass of sugar cane pineapple juice. I have been here twice now and I will be back again! I ordered the standard pho to go the first time. It got finished more quickly than I thought and I decided i actually had time to eat at the restaurant. When they saw me struggling to eat out of the to-go container, they brought me a bowl and spoon right away. I ordered the medium adult portion this time, picturing a lot of broth. Well, there was a lot of broth, but there were also so many other ingredients in the broth that it was way too much to finish! I didn't get the meatballs in it, per personal preference. The other two types of beef were extremely tender. The pho was served with plenty of garnishes (bean sprouts, jalapeños, basil and cilantro) and all of it was extremely fresh. Their textures were a perfect compliment to the rice noodles. The broth itself was very tasty. I really cannot say enough about the food. However, the ambiance of the restaurant was a big part of the experience. Somebody put a lot of work into this place, and it shows. The whole place is open, bright, and extremely clean. The tables and chairs are beautiful, the lighting fixtures are interesting, and the artwork is very striking. Every worker I encountered was extremely welcoming and helpful. Tried this today with my wife and we both thought it was pretty good. Friendly staff and quick service. We have been seeking out the best pho places in the Boise area and this was the forth place we have tried. We love Pho Nouveau but recently learned all of their pho has MSG in it. So far Pho Le and Pho 208 are the only two that claim they do not use MSG. Pho Le does not have a chicken option, which was a bit disappointing. The texture of the meatballs is a little weird but the rest of the beef seemed fine. It is a bit on the pricey side compared to others but it is the cleanest and most spaciously hip venue we've visited so far. read more

Love the simple menu as this is a pho place. Absolutely the best in town, and finally a good one in SE Boise! Pho is traditional broth, no msg and served piping hot, and not too salty. Rare beef is tender and sliced thin, meat balls and tendon are cooked perfectly with full flavor and tender. All normal sides are served fresh and crispy. The servers/owner are prompt and very friendly. Decor is fresh, new and very modern. Service needs some fine tuning as there have been tables that need to be cleared and cleaned long after the patrons left. Price of pho is high as I'm used to, but hey, at least we have a quality product and worth the cost. read more

This place has fantastic customer service really nice people. The vermicelli was very delicious fish sauce was some of the best fish sauce I've ever had I enjoyed the pho but wasn't Blown Away by it the one complaint I have is that we had their spring rolls and the wrapped was hard and chewy also they put iceberg lettuce that wasn't very appetizing if they changed the iceberg lettuce to Lemongrass or cilantro or jalapenos something with a little bit of flavor and they actually had the nice soft wraps this place would definitely get five star we will be going back though for sure read more

We came here for the first time tonight and were delighted with the food and service. Dallis was our server, and she was fantastic! I asked her a million questions and she was patient, so knowledgeable, and sweet. I had the Chicken Pho and my husband had the Vermicelli Noodles with the Shrimp, Pork, and Beef. This is a great place for Pho. The surroundings have a very minimalist, sophisticated feel to it. The food is fresh an flavorful. The one waitress that was working at the time of my visit was very kind, informative and patient despite her less then ideal situation, it was very busy!! Did I mention she was the only waitress!? My friend and I went here for the first time today. Got the Pho Sure and it was so delicious and filling and a great way to warm up from the cold. I have a severe peanut allergy and am usually always ok when ordering pho. This however was a horrible experience. I ordered summer rolls and the medium pho. On the menu the dipping sauce for the summer rolls says there are crushed almonds so I thought thank gosh there's no peanut sauce for once. I was wrong. I called to place my order and asked the lady to be sure that there weren't any peanuts. She told me no. So I pick up my order and come home. I open the sauce for the summer rolls and I dipped one of the rolls in the sauce just to try it. I saw there were nuts in it but I assumed it was just the chopped almonds (which I can have). I went to eat it and the moment I put it in my mouth I knew it wasn't almonds. I quickly spit it out and called the store back. She confirmed that the chef did put peanuts in the sauce. I was not only lied to on the menu but also lied to by the staff. Luckily I am ok because I took action quickly but, if I had swallowed the sauce I would have had to go to the emergency room because my throat would have closed and I could die. This is is serious. I've never had this bad of a careless experience with a restaurant before. I can die from eating peanuts. I am ok but I thought I needed to share my experience with this place. If you say you use almonds instead of peanuts, use the fucking almonds. There are people out there who will suffer from your carelessness. I will not be going back here which is a shame because the first time I ate here I had a wonderful experience, but this is a serious matter and I hope this review will get them to change their menu ASAP. Don't use peanuts as a substitute if you don't have almonds and if you use peanuts put it on the fucking menu so I know not to order that dish. I will be paying attention to see if the menu changes and if it doesn't they will be hearing from me again. read more

Wanted to order some Vietnamese for delivery last night and hesitated a little bit due to the negative reviews. I noticed they were mostly griping about the price. I went ahead and placed an order with doordash for summer rolls, a large pho, and vermicelli noodles. I can totally understand why it's a little bit more expensive than other Vietnamese places - they give you a lot more fillers (veggies, sauce, etc.) and use good quality ingredients. We had some special allergy requests and they followed it all to a T. I docked one star because I did find the grilled meat to be a little salty, but in general I don't like too much salt on my food. I haven't dined in yet but the pictures of the interior make it look very inviting and I am definitely looking forward to dining in the future. A welcome addition to Boise's scant but growing Asian scene. Now can someone please open up a decent Chinese place? Thanks. read more

This is real pho, trust me on this since I'm Vietnamese. I'm not saying it's excellent but it (i.e., the broth) tastes somewhat authentic, not like most of the Vietnamese restaurants in town. The noodle is completely wrong, fix it please. And the price is high. However, I think it's worth it to pay for an overpriced bowl of real pho every once in a while than getting cheap fake ones. Second visit and probably won't be back. Broth does not have the Pho flavors that I love. Roast beef was so fatty I had to pull it from my mouth and set it aside. Service gets overwhelmed when the tables start to fill up. Credit card machine issues kept my table waiting for 20 minutes today while we needed to get back to work. The decor is very nice and there is a good template to work with here but it needs some management in place to deal with things that go wrong so they don't lose future business to bad days.
