Whereas my prior review was for my to-go experience picking up for my wife and MIL, this is my own take-out pho-sperience. I ordered the pho tai (thinly sliced raw beef) Know this: Everything is packed separately. In the bag you will find the following (if you order pho tai like I did): 1. In a quart to-go container -- pho broth 2. In a black to-go bowl -- a clump of thin pho noods, cilantro, and sliced white onions, topped by three baggies of thinly sliced beef 3. In another baggie -- bean sprouts, basil sprigs, jalapeño slices, and a small portion cup of hoisin sauce Just know this: by the time you get home, the soup will not be hot enough to cook the raw beef. You'll end up with blood-tinged broth First recommendation: either heat up the broth so the thin slices of beef get blanched, or sear the beef in a pan (if you're into that type of caramelized meaty flavor) Second recommendation: use a little bit of broth to loosen up the congealed ball of noodles before pouring in the rest of the heated soup over the raw beef. If you just go ahead and put everything together like I did, you'll have to heat everything up together in a pot; the beef won't be raw anymore, but the noodles will overcook and break up. That said the broth was still really good. I highly recommended getting take out from here, but with caveats about how to prep and serve it once you get your food home. I prefer to enjoy my pho hot, fresh from the kitchen, and ready to go. I like to enjoy pho right away, but this take-out place definitely has the right price, the food comes out quickly, and the soup has that flavor to scratch that pho itch.

The food is made to order so please order ahead. I'm going to agree with other reviews and say this place gives plenty of meat in their pho. There's also a good amount of broth which means Pho LVN paid attention to the reviewers who claim there wasn't enough. Parking isn't so great but the food makes up for it.

This new take out only spot in Monterey Park is a hidden gem. Very authentic Pho, very clean broth, high quality rare beef, generous portions. Services was very friendly and efficient. Go support local small businesses!

Quick convenient pho perfect for a cold day or if you need something to recover from a cold. Will this beat my mom's pho? No but its a nice quick fix when you need a warm cozy meal.

This place has absolutely amazing pho. The broth is so rich and savory. they have a simple menu so you don't have to think about what you want for too long. They said that the broth was spoiled for 8 to 12 hours and that's why the broth tasted so rich and savory . the meat was absolutely amazing. they use very premium cuts of meat with just enough fat and just enough meat. The customer service was really good. She was really nice and friendly at the cashier . just to let you know this place is to go only so you can take your order to go and eat at home after you boil the soup and put the rest of the stuff in the soup. I think they said they will be available on Uber eats or DoorDash as well. The owners are Vietnamese so they know what's up. This place is amazing.

The pho tai came with a lot of meat, but the oxtail order was a bit skimpy on the oxtail.

Thai tea is really good here** Service- great! got all the things we asked for and didn't have to wait. Ambiance - nice, bright, clean. They could maintain the fish tank in the front a bit better. a couple of the fishies looked like there were about to go belly up. the pipes had lots of calcium buildup on the outside & algae galore. For both feng shui and esthetic, i think they should get it cleaned up a bit Fish tank isn't a deal breaker so overall still a 5 to me.

They had a Chinese menu and a Vietnamese menu. Honestly, it was a tough choice. I ordered the shrimp spring rolls , and the bun Bo nuong cha gio. The dishes were prepared with quality and patience. Lots of regulars in the restaurant it seemed. On this night , there were short staffed and I had to remind my server about my order a few times. The manager came out to apologize. She was a very good manager and handled things well. She offered me a discount, but I refused. Instead, she gave me a refreshing watermelon drink on the house. I will come back, next time I'm in town.

I've been eating here since high school, and the flavor has remained exactly the same over the years--a rare quality that speaks to how much care they put into their food. The restaurant has a warm, family-owned atmosphere that makes you feel welcome every time you visit. It's the kind of place that has built a loyal customer base through good food, friendly service, and reliability. If you're looking for a comforting meal with flavors you can count on, this spot is definitely worth a visit. Price is reasonable and food taste heartwarming. Favorite dish : fried chicken & red tomato rice dish , Hainan chicken and rice. Sauce is amazingly delicious and unique. Beef cubes. Mapo tofu. Soups is alwyas complimentary.

The meat tasted old, the rice was poorly seasoned, their complimentary soup you get when you first sit tasted like poultry. I know there's chicken feet in there but it didn't taste like 'chicken' it tasted like when you walk in to a poultry soup. It tastes like how the poultry shop smells. If you haven't been to a poultry shop, it tastes like if you're around a lot of live chickens. My brother got the brisket. It was the worst he's ever had too. He said it was chewy and lack flavor. They might be cutting costs because the economy is bad. I notice a large portion of their menu was covered up or dishes crossed out. Even the beverages got cut! You can only get like 3 different beverages which are ovaltine, coffee, and something else. They even cut out lemon ice tea. They're a mom and pop shop and it would be sad if they're out of business because of that reason, but the food was unfortunately not good. Service was really good though, but we were the only ones there majority of the time we were dining. The price for the hainan chicken was about $17, brisket was about the same. I don't remember the exact amount. Just listing that here because Yelp's prices are way off. Could be old pricing from a while ago.
