Lots of regulars in the restaurant it seemed. On this night , there were short staffed and I had to remind my server about my order a few times. The manager came out to apologize. She was a very good manager and handled things well. She offered me a discount, but I refused. Instead, she gave me a refreshing watermelon drink on the house. However, they're best known for their Bun Bo Hue, Vietnamese Spicy Beef Noodle Soup (quite different from Taiwanese beef noodle soup by the way)! Most of us ordered that. It comes with fresh veggies and herbs that you put into your hot soup. The thick rice noodles were bouncy and the beef shank slices were tender. The broth was flavorful and they were able to accommodate my request for less spice. I do wonder if veggie refills are free but I didn't get a chance to ask. Normally I like lots of veggies.
