The food is made to order so please order ahead. I'm going to agree with other reviews and say this place gives plenty of meat in their pho. There's also a good amount of broth which means Pho LVN paid attention to the reviewers who claim there wasn't enough. Parking isn't so great but the food makes up for it.

Quick convenient pho perfect for a cold day or if you need something to recover from a cold. Will this beat my mom's pho? No but its a nice quick fix when you need a warm cozy meal.

This new take out only spot in Monterey Park is a hidden gem. Very authentic Pho, very clean broth, high quality rare beef, generous portions. Services was very friendly and efficient. Go support local small businesses!

This place has absolutely amazing pho. The broth is so rich and savory. they have a simple menu so you don't have to think about what you want for too long. They said that the broth was spoiled for 8 to 12 hours and that's why the broth tasted so rich and savory . the meat was absolutely amazing. they use very premium cuts of meat with just enough fat and just enough meat. The customer service was really good. She was really nice and friendly at the cashier . just to let you know this place is to go only so you can take your order to go and eat at home after you boil the soup and put the rest of the stuff in the soup. I think they said they will be available on Uber eats or DoorDash as well. The owners are Vietnamese so they know what's up. This place is amazing.

Their prices have not changed in years and the portions remain the same versus shrinkflation. Their menu is not that big but it has your essential Vietnamese dishes. Today I ordered the banh beo bi, vermicelli with nem nuong and egg rolls, nem nuong coun and che ba mau. Banh beo bi are rice cakes topped with shredded pork. It comes with chilies and fish sauce for you to pour on top. The rice cakes are served warm and are super smooth and soft. The thai chilies it comes with are spicy so don't use too much. The vermicelli with nem nuong and egg rolls comes with a slab of meat and a whole egg roll. The bottom are the noodles and mix of veggie and herbs. The nem nuong is sweetened charbroiled pork that is grilled. Think of a sweet meat ball. The egg rolls are super crispy and filled with meat. The noodles go well with the fish sauce and there are a lot of veggies inside. The nem nuong coun is a spring roll that's wrapped in rice paper. It has the meat and lettuce wrapped inside and comes with a dipping sauce. I believe the sauce is made with ground shrimp. For $8 for 3 rolls it is a steal compared to other restaurants. If you are craving Brodards in OC this place can satisfy your craving. Their che ba mau which is a 3 bean dessert has a lot of beans inside topped with coconut milk and shaved ice. It is the person drink to finish your meal and it is not too sweet.

Com Tam is decent, rice texture is on point. Pork chop is marinated well but not enough lemongrass flavor, tender and not dry at all. Baked egg was good but not amazing, seemed like it missing shredded wood ear mushroom. Che Ba Mau by far hands down the worst I've had. Red bean wasn't soft, outer shell/skin was still pretty tough. Not much mung bean either after stirring it literally for about 4 seconds the mung bean basically disintegrated into the liquid. The liquid.. watered down skim milk, not a trace of coconut flavor anywhere. I didn't know you can mess up Che Ba Mau until I had it from here.

We started with the rice cakes and pork spring rolls. The rice cakes were soft and delicate, while the spring rolls were packed with fresh vegetables and had a nice balance of textures. The Vietnamese crepe was one of my favorite dishes. The crepe itself was crispy and filled with bean sprouts, shrimp, and pork, creating a flavorful bite with plenty of crunch and freshness. The broken rice plate was another standout. The sweet and savory fish sauce soaked into the rice perfectly, and the assortment of meats was well-seasoned and flavorful. The vermicelli bowl was fresh and satisfying, featuring aromatic lemongrass pork that was beautifully charred. The pho was the highlight of the meal. The broth was rich, fragrant, and full of beef flavor. The noodles maintained a great texture, and the meats were tender. The fall-off-the-bone beef rib was especially impressive and made the bowl feel extra hearty. To finish the meal, they even provided complimentary dessert, which was a nice touch. Service was friendly, portions were generous, and there was plenty of variety on the menu. If you're looking for a Vietnamese restaurant in the Alhambra area with lots of options and solid execution across the board, Saigon Eden is worth checking out.

This soup is so pungent that the only time I get to savor it is at home and the stink doesn't leave your home for a few days. So, it is to my delight that they offer it here during the weekdays. It is a nicely stacked bowl that has everything but the kitchen sink in it - roast pork belly, catfish, squid, eggplant, and stuffed jalapeno with fried fish cake. Very filling and reasonably priced! The only reason I gave this place a 4 instead of 5 rating is because you can only order certain items from the menu when they open. I wanted to get some Chinese food to-go for my husband, but was told by the server that the other items were only available beginning at 10 am, which is odd to me.

The meat tasted old, the rice was poorly seasoned, their complimentary soup you get when you first sit tasted like poultry. I know there's chicken feet in there but it didn't taste like 'chicken' it tasted like when you walk in to a poultry soup. It tastes like how the poultry shop smells. If you haven't been to a poultry shop, it tastes like if you're around a lot of live chickens. My brother got the brisket. It was the worst he's ever had too. He said it was chewy and lack flavor. They might be cutting costs because the economy is bad. I notice a large portion of their menu was covered up or dishes crossed out. Even the beverages got cut! You can only get like 3 different beverages which are ovaltine, coffee, and something else. They even cut out lemon ice tea. They're a mom and pop shop and it would be sad if they're out of business because of that reason, but the food was unfortunately not good. Service was really good though, but we were the only ones there majority of the time we were dining. The price for the hainan chicken was about $17, brisket was about the same. I don't remember the exact amount. Just listing that here because Yelp's prices are way off. Could be old pricing from a while ago.

I came by on a Friday at 7pm for a dinner (weekend before Mother's Day) and was able to get seated in 15 minutes. They have a Yelp waitlist but you must go in person to join the waitlist. There's a spacious parking lot but there's rarely any spots available and will require you to wait for a free one. The interior is honestly very pretty. It's decorated with overhead chandeliers with bright lights and marble tables. When your table is ready, they also give you a tray full of chopsticks, napkins, and forks. Each table also has hoisin, sriracha, chili sauce, and another sauce I'm not too sure about. After we ordered, I got my pho da biet maybe 5 minutes after. The cha gios also came out a few minutes after too. Unfortunately, my boyfriend's com tam was forgotten about until after I devoured my pho. We even asked them about it in the middle and it was checked on but we weren't updated and thought they had went ahead and cancelled it but it still came out. No biggy, we packed it to-go since we basically split the pho da biet. Food: Pho da biet (9.5/10): The pho was soooo delicious. It was meaty with a little bit of sweetness to it. This is one of the few places where I don't feel the need to sauce down my pho to enjoy it. There's a good amount of meat in here. If you're a tendon enjoyer, there's about 3 big chunks in here. I love the way they separate everything. If you order this, it comes with the stone bowl at no additional costs. They separate the noodles and ribeye on the side and let you "decorate" it yourself. There was also a good amount of noodles in here. Com tam (7.9/10): I thought that this one was just okay. We got the grilled pork and grilled pork chop and I thought that the meats were cooked perfectly. There was a nice char to the meats and it was seasoned deliciously. It came with a lot of rice and a side of soup to enjoy! I did enjoy this fish sauce more than the one that came with the egg rolls. Overall, I wish this dish came out the same time as the pho so we could've enjoyed it together. Cha gio/Imperial Rolls (7/10): I love egg rolls but this one didn't really stand out to me. It comes with a good amount of vegetables that you can use to wrap your egg rolls in. I wish the fish sauce that came with this was more salty. Maybe it was that day, but I couldn't really tell what was inside the filling. It was all mushed in together instead of different layers. The skin was very thin and crispy which I really liked!
