My friends and I were in the mood for sushi and the place we came across ended up being closed. Right next door was Pho Minh and it was pretty busy inside, but we were seated right away. The staff were friendly and took our order after giving us some time to look over the menu. I was so torn on what I wanted to eat, but decided to get the eggs rolls as an appetizer. For my entree, I chose to do the Bahn mi special that includes a Thai iced tea or Vietnamese coffee and a Bahn mi sandwich for $13. I got the Thai iced tea which was delicious and creamy. The Bahn mi sandwich with beef was also so flavorful. It's a good size sandwich and I ended up eating most of it. Next time, I have to get the Pho!

This was my third visit and the first time dining in. The atmosphere was quite nice for a Friday evening, and not packed with patrons but a constant flow of customers. Ordered the #3 and a #5, very surprised to receive our order in minutes, pipping hot in metal bowls! Lots of noodles and a generous portion of meats. The zoo was really delicious but the broth was little too sweet for my liking! On previous visits I ordered takeout and my selections were combo meals with rice and crispy appetizers. Great customer service and reasonable prices. Will definitely continue to visit and try some of their numerous entrees

A quaint Vietnamese spot in the middle of Temecula. Was looking for some comfort food after a day out visiting the wineries, and I was pleasantly surprised to stumble across this spot. The place was pretty full even for around 8 PM, but I was able to get a table quickly. I wasn't even planning to order Pho when I got there, but the smell in the air made me crave it. I wasn't expecting much but the Pho was pretty good, the broth had good flavor, and it was full of meat. The thit nuong didn't look like how I was used to, but it was actually quite delicious! I'd say to skip the nem nuong rolls and the tau hu ky and the chao tom though. It wasn't as good as the other dishes.

Service was quick and friendly. Just stopped by for quick bite. My wife and I split the 4 Fresh spring rolls with peanut sauce (i always mix mine with siracha to give it a bite). It was served with shredded lettuce, but we asked for Romaines leave to wrap in as is typical for fried rolls, and the were happy to satisfy our request. We then Had a Chicken Banh Mi sandwich. If you haven't had banh mi before, try one. The bread is on like a crunchy outside soft inside french roll. The give a good portion of meat and veggies. I asked for extra jalapenos on the side...again, no questions and no upcharge. Very satisified. Prices were very reasonable...under $8 for the sandwich! We will return again.

Stopped by to get a meal before my concert and after studying for 5 hours. Slightly disappointed by the lack of greeting at the door as I walked in. I was met with blanks stares and then pointed to a table. The same young man took my order and was dismissive. A young girl brought me water and said not a word. Luckily the cashier ended up being very nice, so I didn't feel as bad. I got the Pho Tai with additional beef meatballs. Decent for a quick stop. Broth was slightly on the sweeter side. However, there was plenty of rare steak and meatballs, so that was good. Their stainless steel bowls keep the broth very hot, which is also a plus. They also had good chili oil, something I like to look forward to in a Vietnamese restaurant. Decor is your usual Vietnamese restaurant. Nothing too fancy, but it was cute.

Had my first visit here with a crew of coworkers. Apparently this place is normally pretty mellow on weekdays, but for our Thursday visit it was packed! The rain and cold weather made it an easy restaurant match for many of us.. Small location, but they utilize the space well for dine-in customers. The service was phenomenal! Greeted immediately upon entering, they managed to put a table together for our larger party. Our waitress got our orders down to a T, every plate/bowl came out perfectly. I found the combination fried rice was really good. Nice mix of flavors. The eggs rolls were a let down for our table, no one cared for the taste. One the other hand, the charbroiled pork spring rolls were a hit! If seeking an appetizer, you have found a pleasant choice.. I got a bowl of the chicken pho with the clear noodles. I kept it plain jane, didn't load up on extras. The flavor was still all there, and I was feeling good eating it.. Priced right at about $125 for our party of 5. With all of us having an entree and the couple appetizers we got, I wont complain.

Some items are hit-or-miss. The menu is crazy wide with a bunch of different options, so you're bound to find something you like. For a place with phở in its name, I had high expectations for their phở. After giving it a try, I'm almost certain that the owners are not Vietnamese because my chicken phở didn't come with a side of fish sauce. CHICKEN PHỞ ALWAYS COMES WITH A SIDE OF FISH SAUCE. It's almost a crime not to include it, and the waiter looked at me funny when I asked for it. Weird. * #19 Chicken Phở: 6/10 - no fish sauce, and the broth wasn't very rich * #87 Assorted Grilled Meat & Vermicelli: 8/10 - good portion and nice variety of proteins and veggies The interior was nice, and they have a decent amount of seating. The parking lot has plenty of spaces, but I can definitely see it getting crowded at peak times like dinner. Not terrible, but probably not our first choice.

Love this spot. Food was super delish, servers are fast and friendly. Portion size was super good- we really enjoyed everything. Egg rolls were a lil too sweet, the shrimp/pork, but the spring rolls were delightful, and peanut sauce was so delish. We wanted the beef bone soup but they just ran out. Everything was pretty amazing though- highly recommended.

As someone who grew up in San Diego I am happy to find this gem! This my favorite pho spot in this entire area my kiddos love it here too. It's got that hole in the wall feel and traditional Vietnamese style cafe. My favorite is number 8 pho, broken rice with bbq pork, and the fried shrimp balls. The service was fast, friendly, and most importantly the food was fresh. Thank you Johnny and Mun for serving me and my kiddos today we loved it.

Such a delicious pho spot! Our staff was friendly and helpful, and the restaurant is tidy. It was a relaxing and pleasant vibe all around. This had become our go-to pho restaurant.

The perfect place to go to when you are craving a good bowl of pho. The broth was rich and satisfying, and everything tasted fresh. We also ordered crispy tofu, which was amazing! I normally don't care too much for tofu but this dish was perfectly crispy, light, and flavorful. Place is clean and service is great.

If you're looking for a spot that prioritizes exceptional food over flashy decor, this place absolutely delivers. The restaurant has a no-frills vibe--clean, simple, and comfortable. There's some light decor to give it character, but nothing over-the-top, which honestly works in its favor. It lets the food speak for itself, and wow, does it speak loudly. The pho is the star here. The broth is deeply flavorful with a perfectly balanced profile--savory without being too salty, subtle spice, gentle sweetness, a touch of tang, and beautifully layered notes of mint and anise. It's the kind of broth you want to sip slowly because every spoonful tastes intentional and refined. The mixed grill meat pairs wonderfully with the noodles and fresh veggies, adding richness and texture that complements the pho rather than overpowering it. Everything feels well thought out and harmonious on the plate. The shrimp spring roll was fresh and delicious, with nicely cooked shrimp and crisp veggies. The peanut sauce had great flavor, though it leaned a bit on the salty side--but still enjoyable and far from a deal-breaker. Don't skip the Vietnamese coffee. It has the perfect strength and bold flavor--rich, smooth, and just the right amount of intensity to finish the meal strong. Beyond the food, the experience was solid all around. The restaurant was clean inside and out, with plenty of parking available in the shopping complex (a huge plus). Service was quick, accurate, and friendly--the servers were attentive, accommodating, and made the experience feel welcoming without hovering. Overall, this is the kind of place you'll keep coming back to--not for trendy aesthetics, but for consistently great food, efficient service, and a comfortable, no-nonsense dining experience. Highly recommended.

Still enjoying this family owned business serving authentic Vietnamese food in Temecula! Very comforting and all around good earnest food with a good amount of variety that showcases some of the lesser known dishes. I've noticed it has been getting busier and busier so may be a little bit of a wait depending on when you come.

Noodle consistency is great with their Blaze or Classic ramen options, as the broth tends to be a little thicker and creamier than the Shoyu option. Their appetizer selection is also pretty diner friendly and sure to include a little something for everyone. If you're not in the mood for noodles, they also offer regular or large rice bowls, which come with amazing flavor profiles all on their own. At a glance, the 'regular' size option might seem like an insignificant portion, but rest assured it comes ready to satisfy the types of diners who'd prefer to taste a little of everything. My only critique would be on the sushi selection. It didn't taste so fresh, but then again this place is obviously not named Silverlake Sushi, so I'll rest my case on that note. I stand firmly behind ramen being the craft that Silverlake takes time to perfect, both in the intricate taste and in visual detail. Highly recommend if you're craving noodles and don't want to drive out of town to get them!

I got a lox bagel and 4 huge pieces of smoked salmon with capers and a side of avocado a few days ago in Vegas on the strip and that was 16$. Sooooooo... how is this justifiable? Anyways, I also ordered a diet coke and they came out with a mini can. Talk about why this place is called "small" barn. Lol! The server stated the can is super small bc its only 2$. Thats just silly. Just get the bigger can and charge me 3 bucks for it. Thats fair in my humble opinion. 4$ for two mini cans is wonky to me. Alas, these are not the reasons why this place originally got a 2 star from me. It was the tomatoes on my avocado toast. They taste spoiled, old, and mushy. It made my stomach hurt a bit. As for the salmon, it tasted like it smelled, funky. Why i ended up giving this place a 3 instead of 2 stars? Bc their creme brulee was the BEST creme brulee I've ever had. It was so luscious, creamy, and it felt like these are the kinds of desserts GODS eat! It was amazing! My server was friendly and talkative with me up until the end. For some reason, I just never made it back here; probably because the Promenade area isn't usually along our route. Coming here tonight genuinely brightened my day. I had just finished a long shift and a commute, and all I wanted was a good, comforting meal. My nutritionist told me yesterday need to significantly increase my protein intake to help reduce muscle loss related to my autoimmune thyroid condition. KBBQ seemed like the perfect choice; lots of protein without a lot of unnecessary junk. On my way home, I stopped at two other KBBQ restaurants. Apparently, I was unaware of the unspoken rule that some places don't serve parties of one on weekends. One restaurant even had me wait 25 minutes before telling me they wouldn't seat a solo diner during the weekend. Unfortunately, my husband is currently deployed, so being a party of one isn't exactly a choice for me right now! Normally, dining alone doesn't bother me at all, but today it got to me. I was exhausted and simply wanted a comforting meal. Being turned away after waiting 25 minutes just because I by myself was the last thing I needed. When I called this restaurant, the owner or manager immediately answered and was incredibly friendly. He explained that they offer entrée and plate options for guests who aren't doing the all-you-can-eat menu. I honestly don't understand why more restaurants don't offer this. I know the food industry is competitive and businesses have to make money, but having options for solo diners makes such a difference. When I arrived, I received wonderful service right away, and there was no wait, but they were full. The owner or manager recognized me as the person who had called earlier and went out of his way to make me feel welcome since we found out we're from the same area. He even added a little surprise to my order simply out of kindness. The entire staff was friendly, professional, and attentive. In an area with no shortage of restaurants, I want to give this place the credit it deserves, not only for the excellent food, but for the heart behind the business. Today, I'm especially grateful for the kindness and generosity shown to me. You never know what someone may be going through, and a simple act of thoughtfulness can make a bigger impact than you realize. His kindness truly lifted my spirits after a long and difficult day. I believe this is a small family-owned business, and they absolutely deserve the support of the community. Great food is easy to find; genuine hospitality is much harder to come by. I'll definitely be back!

My Daughter suggested Chef K due to their 4+ star rating, even though she had never eaten there before. Hidden in an outdoor mall it just looks like a glass front suite, but enter the doors and the interior is beautiful and clean with comfy upholstered booths and chairs. The young server greeted us with a strong Asian accent and took us to our seats immediately. We were the only customers in the room which made me a little nervous, but is was 2pm on a Thursday after all. We were presented with a hardbound colorful book of their offerings... pretty cool. We ordered and were quickly presented with: Spicy Pepper Beef: A medium spice level with a savory dark soy sauce, bathing ultra tender beef slices, married with thin sliced jalapeño and diced red and green bell peppers. Unbelievably delicious. Walnut Honey Shrimp: Mega large butterflied prawns quickly fried with walnuts and sweet glaze, crispy and crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Tangerine Chicken: Large delicate and tender chicken breast pieces deep fried in a fluffy batter and glazed with a perfectly sweet and tart tangerine sauce. Our meal came with individual bowls of perfectly cooked jasmine rice. Enough food to feed 3 hungry adults and still have leftovers. $63 Why 5 stars? Without a doubt, the best, cleanest tasting Chinese dishes I have ever experienced. More to come from this place I'm sure. If you are anywhere near Temecula, get off the freeway and reward yourself.

It was nearly empty when I went. I think this type of food is hard for this demographics. If you…read morewere in San diego or orange county or l.a it would always be busy. I dont like tasty pot in general. This place looks big on the outside but its kind of small in the inside. I love yin tang and ziangliang mala tang and places of the likes bc its 14$ a pound and you choose what you want inside. Today I ordered the stinky tofu soup, which was BTW very delicious. Its an excellent broth. I chose the flame spicy and there was no spice but that's sort of expected bc the demographics in temecula cant handle ANY spice, even tiniest bit. This soup was very rich and flavorful, but what I was disappointed in was there was 0 intestines. I only ordered this bowl bc it had intestines. I showed my server I had 0 as I was sifting through my soup. I asked him if he can get me a bowl of intestines a d if he can't, ill pay for the extra charge. This was the only reason why I ordered this dish! Its just sad it had none. This is why they get 3 stars. I like the cabbage substitute bc I dont eat noodles or rice. Everything else in the soup was OK. I also got beef sticks. It had 0 flavor. I think even this demographic would agree. Maybe today I got a bad batch? Again, im not a big fan of tasty pot and its overpriced food, but i shall say this is the best tasty pot I've had. Ill come again to try other things. I want to add i loved the tofu paste sauce they had with chili oil and soy sauce on the middle of the table. The soy sauce was really funky however.
