We were craving pho and decided to give this place a try. Unfortunately, it was mediocre at best. I ordered the pho dac biet, and the broth had a very strong cinnamon flavor that threw me off. The cilantro served on the side still had stems attached, which I found a bit odd since cilantro is usually already included inside the pho. It wasn't a huge issue, but it did stand out. I also noticed that we weren't given basil, even though another table received some. We ordered the barbecue pork spring rolls as well, but they tasted more like grilled pork than barbecue. The rolls were quite small and mostly filled with noodles, with very little vegetables. Overall, the prices felt high for the portion sizes and quality of the food, and the experience didn't quite meet our expectations.

This is a great place for authentic pho and other Vietnamese dishes. There is plenty of parking right in front of the restaurant. The service is good and the staff are super friendly. This is just a basic place to get really good pho The spring rolls were perfect. The most amazing thing which haunts my mind is the coffee sua da or coffee milk ice. So good just like in Vietnam only arabica not robusta. My server was Mung(happy) and very nice. I'll be back even if just for the coffee

    Pork fried rice

I've never done a yelp review in my life but I had to create an account to make this review. If I could go negative I would I got the pork fried rice and the pork taste old there nothing in the fried rice beside egg an pork no green onions or carrots and they charge me 17 bucks for it. This place was empty when i walked in and I see why. The is one of the worst food experiences of my life this yes this place is that bad! I only got the fried rice tho

Beef pho with "extra 5$ beef". Very good broth. As with everyone else complaint. Extremely lacking in beef.

I'm just going to rate the food. Because that's all that I personally care about. The pho was excellent. Noodles are excellent. The number is protein is lacking. Especially ordering an additional serving.

Pho and spring rolls were just OK. The meat to rice noodle ratio is off for the pho. Definitely a lot more rice noodle vs meat. The broth was fine. Vegetables were a bit sad, and the spring rolls were fine, but nothing super memorable. Decent place in Tempe if you're craving pho.

Definitely a hole in the wall but amazing. The service was great and the spring rolls were some of the best we have had. The pho broth was really good and the meatballs and steak were excellent. Definitely a place we will be back to if we are craving Pho. 4% discount for cash.

When the server brought the noodle soup to the table, thought she gave us the wrong one. Looks like a kid's size with no meat. No way we got ourselves a vegetarian noodle soup til we found a few small pieces of beef after noodle is mixed. It's New Year's Eve. Don't feel like saying anything bad to them. No service too. No water or tea offered or served. A place we would not go back to.

The A/C worked well enough despite the dining area filling up with hungry customers. Seating is laid-back, and ready for a group of four or those willing to share a table. Cordial, English-speaking staff are efficiently working and made sure we were well hydrated during a particularly hot weekend. The food was not as we expected. I had the rice plate and my husband ordered pho. My rice plate was filled with enough rice for all the protein that topped it. My favorites had to be the pork chop and the egg & meat loaf. The pho was fragrant - as it should be - but the flavor of the broth was not developed enough. It tasted like salted water, and the beef flavor only came from the slices they put in the bowl. Maybe we were asking for too much, but the flavors were generally light [at best] and definitely not what I'm used to. Even the nuoc cham tasted watered down...how is that possible? Overall: 2.6 stars. Edible and decent food. The wait staff are quick and personable to the faces they know. If I never had Vietnamese food before the rice plate is filling and good enough to come back for. The pho, however is deceptive - smells great but the taste is watery and lacking.

In fact, I'm pleasantly surprised by their growing menu and their willingness to better themselves by listening to Yelp feedback. You can really feel the spirit of home-cooking and the cozy atmosphere of a locally owned restaurant here. In the best way possible, service hasn't changed - it's still the same friendly owner greeting you with a smile and overall cheerful attitude. You can tell that they are actively growing as a restaurant and I can't help but want to cheer them on! Today, I had their banh mi pho with a side of Chinese donuts to dip into the pho broth. Absolutely delicious and great concept. My constructive feedback is if they can dial in their pho broth (which I already enjoy) to have more in-depth bone broth/spice flavor and less reliance on maybe the salty aspect.
