31. Pho Tai (Eye Round Steak Cut)
Melony F.

Where to start! Staff is always friendly, the pho IS THE BEST around. The broth is rich of flavor. The steamed dumplings were sooo good! Pleasantly handmade, best dumplings I ever had. Prices are fair, especially because the quality is so good! Definitely give pho palace a try!

I just door dashed over $100 worth of food and now I have to order a pizza and they won't answer their phone. I ordered 4 orders of pho and all I received was broth. I called back and let them know that they forgot all the meat and they said oh well that's your problem if you can't come get it. I asked for a refund and they said deal with door dash. Door dash will only refund $25. So now I'm out $75 and have no food. The guy on the phone was absolutely no help at all!

Grilled Shrimp Pho

I've been coming to this gem for years. The food is outstanding. I generally order the same thing, which is shrimp fried rice and Pho. But, they have never let me down. The woman at the front is always very personable and thankful for the business. We really do not have any Pho places in the far NE. But, this is it! If you haven't given them a try, I definitely recommend it.

all prices have gone up like 1.4 - 1.5 times, better see the menu photos, btw who said inflation is 3%, that's like 40% (of course it's not just 1 year growth of price) they give just a small dish of vegetable together with Pho, prolly this restaurant is in an American area and not all customer will eat those, if you want you should ask for more they still use the Siracha Chili Sauce the bowl of Pho size is like regular/medium for the $13.5 price the receptionist is so so hot clean place, bathroom is clean and neat too the waiter and waitress are very attentive, the # of tables to # of waiters ratio is good, they can handle well during busy time

Wow! That's my one-word description of the pho I had at this place. The flavor of that bone broth with the cilantro, onion and scallion was so deep that none of the condiments on the table were needed... but out of habit I still used some. I got the pho tai nam gan sach (thin sliced eye-round steak, flank, tendon and tripe). The meats were also delicious. My daughter got the com Tom nuong (white rice, marinated grilled shrimp, veggie salad with fish sauce on the side). She ate every bite. The flavor of the mango bubble tea was less mango and more... bubble gum? Not the best. All the staff members were very friendly and made us feel like appreciated customers, and the interior is cute. There's no doubt that we'll be back for more good food.

I was very happy to find a place that serves one of my favorite dishes in the summertime!! Bun Ga Nuong (Grilled chicken & tossed with crispy cool salad & rice vermicelli in a fish sauce vinaigrette.) It was so fresh and delicious. Service was so fabulous. The waiter was attentive. I enjoyed my Vietnamese drip coffee . Everything was fresh and flavorful. It's one of my favorite dishes I'd love it more if the dish had lots of Thai basil and mint leaves . I also got dumplings, that were pretty plump & delicious .

Went here again, service is still amazing! The Pho is outstanding, and the rolls are really tasty. It's quiet inside of the restaurant. A great place to stop by, and eat some Vietnamese food.

Bun with chicken

I was surprised that this place has only 3.5star. I been there for three times till now and I was always enthusiastic about the food! I tried the Pho with Steak, Bun with chicken and Bun with beef. The service is not the best, we waited a little bit for have our check.

I was in need of Pho so in a search this place showed up. 1) Place was cleaned and welcoming. 2) Waiter was Friendly and attentive. 3) Pho was very delicious tasting. There appear to be only one size. It is smaller than most places I have been to. Pork sandwich was good. My Summer Rolls were too moist and one broke apart right away and the other came broken from kitchen. I would not have served it that way. Peanut sauce was okay. Overall this place was good l. I recommend you give it s try.

I got the zero spice level (they offer 0-5) and it was delicious. There was enough food for me to have leftovers. The noodles were nice and soft! Mango Sticky Rice - This was pretty and tasty. My only challenge with this dish was trying to cut the strips of mango with a spoon while trying not to spill anything out of the bowl. I would definitely go here again!

The duck was small and a bit dry and not very flavorful. The curry was runny and thin so it slid off of the veggies and duck. The pad Thai was honestly quite small and tasted like any pad thai you could order at any random restaurant and it was also just vaguely dry. My biggest grievances with this place was the ambiance. I feel like they wanted to fit as many tables as they physically could in that building and boy did they. The tables are so close together and so tiny. We had and I'm not exaggerating under 3 inches between us and the table next to us and we were on the wall with booths on one half. The poor women go got seated next to us had to move her table on top of the table on her other side and squeeze between ours and hers just to get into the booth. And even then it was tight so her butt ended up on our table and I felt bad because she looked so embarrassed and apologized but there was nothing she could do. The silverware is ridiculously long for the small table they give you. We did not have room to comfortably fit 2 entrees on the table with our drinks and our forks and our silverware and our small plates. We also had a reservation, and our table wasn't ready and there was no waiting area. They didn't have an estimate of when it would be ready so they sent us out. We walked around for 15-20 minutes before they were able to seat us. They also had music playing not quietly and because of the proximity of all of the tables everyone was kind of talking loud to be able to hear each other. It felt more like a bar than a sit down restaurant. There are so many Thai places just within a block of grandmas I could not understand why someone would choose to wait there rather than go to Chatayee or Dara. I think this place is catered to look cool on Instagram and if that's your goal then you'll be quite happy.

The meat was moist, tasty, properly salted, with a discernible bark. The amount of cheese, sauerkraut, & dressing accentuated the pastrami, although so much meat would be hard to impact! It needed the long spear to stay together. But yet I could cut & shave & make mini sandwiches. The potato salad was a great refresher. Not too tart, with carrots, celery, & I could taste onion. The pickle was not too acidic. Great crunch. A nice interlude between bites of the sandwich & potato salad. I took my time. It went into overtime. Washing it down with coke. My taste buds won. Great service. A nice diner like vibe. Incredible menu. We don't have this level of Jewish Deli in the Bay Area. I'd go every week. $36.18 is with it! While I was downtown, I picked up about $92 worth of food, including 1 1/2 pounds of shrimp salad that couldn't be ordered online because, for some reason, the website would not allow it. The very next day, when we went to eat it, something was clearly wrong. The shrimp salad caused a tingling sensation on our tongues, and it was obvious it had gone bad. I called the deli to let them know not just because we couldn't eat it, but because I thought they would want to know if there was a potential issue with the batch. Instead of receiving an apology or any concern, I was met with a dismissive response of, "Oh, that's weird," and the conversation felt condescending. I explained that I couldn't bring the shrimp salad back because I'm leaving town and my mother has limited mobility. I wasn't asking for a refund on our entire order. I simply asked if they could issue a gift card or store credit for the shrimp salad so my mother could use it on a future visit. Every possible solution I suggested was met with an excuse as to why it couldn't be done. The spoiled food was disappointing, but the lack of empathy and customer service was worse. Loyal customers deserve to be treated with respect when they raise a legitimate concern. After years of supporting 4th Street Deli, this experience has unfortunately convinced us that it will be our last visit. I'm reading they have new owners, so maybe it's not the same amazing management we are used to.

I was greeted by a friendly young lady who was patient with me as I looked over the menu. I decided on a grilled cheese and green split pea soup.
