I went here twice in the last week and have not been disappointed! We started with spring rolls and egg rolls which were both very good. The accompanying peanut sauce for the spring rolls was very flavorful, I like to add a little chili sauce or sriracha for a kick. The egg rolls were just as good, especially wrapped up in lettuce and the fresh herbs that are given. I ordered the grilled pork vermicelli bowl (#31 on the menu). I've had a lot of vermicelli bowls in the DFW area and this ranks among the best. Usually, the nuac chom sauce doesn't have enough vinegar or citrus, but this one was made just right. It was a LOT of food, and I ate every bite. On my second visit I tried the bun bo hue, which is a spicy beef soup. It could've used a bit more spice, but it was still an enjoyable meal. I was near and around Viet-town looking for a breakfast place that didn't consist of pho soup - and that was a huge challenge. Upon coming in here, I had asked to see if they offered Vietnamese steak and eggs (aka "bo ne") which I could find in three or four places in Houston, but no such luck in Dallas. The kind Vietnamese guy serving me felt nostalgic when I mentioned the dish, but he directed me to try the com tam bi suon cha hot ga instead, as it was one of the two things in the menu that had eggs. Defeated, I settled into this option since I knew I wasn't going to find anything better around in the morning at any other Vietnamese establishments. The com tam bi suon cha hot ga consists of grilled pork chop, egg cake, fried egg, and shredded pork on crushed rice, and for $7.50, I thought it was a good deal. And the Vietnamese coffee here is made traditional-style, and is also delicious (who doesn't love sweetened condensed milk with their coffee anyways?!) Friendly service, good and authentic food, and good pricing. Can't go wrong, even though it may not be the best Vietnamese in Dallas (I actually prefer La Me), but this is a good, solid and safe bet - and it's apparent as they expand into other locations to become a small local chain. read more

This is one of my favorite pho restaurants in DFW. That's saying a lot because there are many pho restaurants around. Pho Pasteur stands above the rest. Their pho broth is rich and flavorful. You can tell it's been cooking for hours. The meats are soft and tender. There is something satisfying about the nice aroma of a well made bowl of pho. Other food worth mentioning here are the rice plates and vermicelli. The food is consistently good here and the service is fast and excellent. read more

They wouldn't let our friend's service dog into the restaurant even though we explained several times that ADA law allows for service animals to be in a restaurant and showed him the ADA card for their service dog. The host even told us he could call the police about us having a dog there and we told him he would be welcome to do so because they would have to allow the service dog into the restaurant because of ADA law. read more

The spring rolls are made fresh and presented well. Of all the peanut sauces I've had with spring rolls this one is top 10. The pho slaps, all ingredients are fresh and which adds to the flavor of the broth. Our waiter was preserved but did his job exceptionally well. I think the only think I had concerns about were covid related. One of the staff members, who took our payment, improperly wore his mask. I go here often for different dishes usually rotating from the pho noodle soup to their rice dishes accompanied by my thai tea. Seating is prompt by a host and the menu is two sided menu with various food items from rice dishes, sandwiches, pho noddle soups to drinks (drip coffee available calling it french style lol) . There is plenty of spacing so never any wait even on busy times. Pricing for dishes are about 10 to 12 dollars range approximately. I would recommend the pho noodle soup especially on days that it is cold or feeling under the weather. The broth is extremely delicious. The pho noodles is broken up to where you can get large and extra large for more noodles which are the thin variety. The style cut of meat is whether you want the flank or tendons with the different cuts. I always select number 2. It comes with sides that you add to the soup to enhance it imo and I don't know the name but look at the pics. My other pick is the rice plate with pork chops and sunny side up egg with some egg cake and I believe a cup of the pho broth which I love. It is so good to dip the rice in to add more flavor! There are plenty of other Vietnamese food items to try out from their Vietnamese style sandwiches which I know there are unique names but I will leave it as generic. A friend of mine got the sandwich and it was huge. The portions are good enough to fill you up and keep you full until a late night dinner. This place is yummy!! The inside is big and a lot of diversity in people eating. The staff knows English very well, which is a big plus!! I came with a coworker on our hour lunch break. We arrived at 12:13, seated immediately and got ordered quickly. I got #08 and he got #07, I also ordered Spring Rolls. My go-to pho place since I was a child and they were still located in garland. In my opinion, Pho Pasteur has the best pho in Dallas. The broth is flavorful and they always give a good amount of noodles/meat. Not only is their pho really good but they do other entrees really well also. Their com tam and vermicelli are fresh and the meat has good marinade. The one thing that sets them apart from other pho places for the rice and vermicelli is their fish sauce. Fish sauce at most places tend to be watered down and bland. Pasteurs is a much more bold and tangy flavor. In addition to great food, it's also one of the cleanest pho places around. If you haven't been here yet, I'd definitely recommend that you go try it! read more

I just first-time ordered delivery from this place randomly, for my work from home lunch on NYE. I ordered Banh Mi Bo Kho , the beef stew with a baguette. I must say the stew was great and dense with lots of slightly fatty braised beef (which I like), very thinly sliced onions, large pieces of spiral cut carrots and a rich flavorful slightly Indian tasting broth. I was originally thinking of getting pho and was concerned about the lack of noodles in the stew, but the baguette was absolutely perfect for dipping in the broth for rounding out the meal. I would recommend this place if you are nearby and like Vietnamese soups. read more

As far as pho goes, this is definitely the best I've had in North Dallas area. The broth here is what gives it an edge over rest. It has a rich depth of beefy flavor and the little globules of oil shimmering on the surface make it even more appetizing. The meats are also high quality. The brisket is some of the most tender I've had anywhere. The spring rolls and egg rolls are also good here. The grilled pork in the vermicelli dish tasted a bit over-marinated for my taste. The service, like most all Asian places, isn't the best so don't expect a speedy refill on your drink. However, the atmosphere was much nicer than I expected - modern, clean, well lit. If you've got a mad craving for pho, run, don't walk to Pho Pasteur. Better yet, drive. 4.5 stars for the pho! read more

We came here on a Sunday for lunch and it was packed. The customers were pretty much all Vietnamese and this place does not fail for authenticity. We were seated in the corner and there are TVs playing sports at the time. The service was prompt, but not overbearing. English is spoken well here. My two favorite things to order from Pho Pasteur - Vermicelli with Grilled Chicken & Egg Roll and Rice Noodle Soup (Pho) with well-done flank and meat balls. I've come a long way since over a year ago when the extent of my Asian cuisine was either Panda Express, Pei Wei or PF Changs. Today I can't even step into those places anymore. Once you get accustomed to real Asian food, you can't go back. The restaurant is located within the corner of a shopping center. You might have issues seeing it from the street, but just follow the address and you can't miss it. Just don't expect it to be right on the street and you'll be fine. When you first walk in, you will notice the place is very clean. There is someone who will seat you at a table right away. I've never had any instances where I had to wait for a table. I basically go back and forth between these two dishes. Other things look great, so be adventurous and you can't go wrong. Both dishes are offered in large and x-large versions, so it really depends on how hungry you are. When I order Pho, they first bring out a generous plate of mint, bean sprouts, jalapenos and cilantro. The large bowls come out hot and steaming. After adding the vegetables into the bowl, I add some Sriracha and hoisin sauce. It's especially great when it's cold outside. It's the dish you would eat with both chopsticks and a spoon. Good stuff! The vermicelli dish includes a side of fish sauce. If you don't know how fish sauce is made, trust me - don't look it up. Just give it a taste and if you like it, pour it on the noodles and mix it around with the meat and vegetables. The dish includes a good-sized portion of noodles with grilled chicken (or pork), vegetables such as carrots, cucumber, cilantro, bean sprouts and sliced up pieces of egg roll. We told the waitress it was cold and instead of getting us new noodles, she told my dad go collect it on a plate so she can microwave it. Unsure if this is a rare occurrence but I was very disappointed with this visit. They did observe social distancing which is a plus esp for a viet place. Really wanted to love this. Ordered Pho Ga and the chicken was so dry and stringy I couldn't eat it. And I paid for extra protein so I could make multiple meals. Now my dog is in heaven with chicken treats for days. The broth was not pho ga, it was a beef broth. Which is fine, but don't call it what it is not.
