Came super hungry and left super full. I got the Pho Please to try all the different types of meats in their pho. I have the say the lean meats are the best I've had in town, which is super surprising! The steak was not tough at all and flavorful! I would totally get it again. Wow this store is so well designed. love the wooden furniture, adds a modern clean feel. Love how they had a station where you could help yourself to all the sides you wanted: red onion, green onion, cilantro, lime, etc. I usually eat my pho with a lot of these things so it was really nice that I could grab as much as I wanted. Food was great! Got the pho with brisket and the Bao Bun with grilled pork. Broth reminded me of Pho Dan, defs a tie for my favorite pho place. The grilled pork bun was so good that I went back to order more. I miss eating in at Pho Please. However, the to go orders are almost as good. Their broth is delicious and not too sweet. If you want something a little naughty, try their Thai coffee, its quite amazing and incredibly rich. Try the porkchop and shrimp combo on the vermicelli if you're feeling a little meaty. We were craving pho and after reading reviews on several places, we decided to try Pho Please for curbside take-out, and we are so glad we did! We tried different dishes - vegan pho, seafood pho, pork vermicelli and beef lemongrass vermicelli, along with egg rolls and shrimp rolls. Everything was hot and very tasty - tender beef and pork, perfectly cooked seafood bites, and the vegan pho had a rich broth, making it the best I've tried in ATX so far. I've had three experiences here and ah - it's delicious. The place is very cute and clean inside, good service, and just an overall good vibe. You order at the counter and sit down with your number. Their pork banh mi is huge and delicious. Be careful - they put jalapeños in it. Their pho is very clean tasting with good, rich broth. Only things I've been disappointed by are the spring rolls. They were dry and lacked flavor. Be sure to also get the Thai tea and the matcha green Thai tea! Will definitely be around again. read more

There is definitely a wait time during lunch hours on the weekend at this restaurant. However, the line moves pretty quickly. They won't take your order until there is an open seating which makes perfect sense. What doesn't make sense is how difficult they made it for my group to sit together. We had a party of 7 and originally had to sit at two tables far away from each other. We managed to negotiate with another group of 3 people to switch with us so we can all sit together at their longest table. One of the workers came rushing out and made an ENORMOUS FUSS about the seating change. Another group of 3-4 people who was going to share that long table OFFERED to switch with us. Yet again, she argued that this switch makes it confusing for the kitchen. I can't remember if our order had a # or if their tables have designated #. Either way something was numbered, so you can just tell your servers to follow the number or even just call out the name of the group. Poor customer service for big groups!!!! Chicken bao buns (9/10): Pretty good. The meat was tasty. I think their bao's are better than their pho. Pho Chicken (5/10): Average broth. They advertised "clean eats" on their menu so maybe no MSG's were added? If that's the case then it's acceptable. They give you plenty of chicken meat though. They offer other Vietnamese food options like banh mi sandwiches, rice platters, bo kho, and bun bo hue. I also saw some vegan options. I mean I would come here again with a smaller crowd, but definitely not coming back with a party of 7. read more

I don't know what they season that pork with but it insanely delicious! The bread is perfectly crispy on the outside, just a little flaky and soft but, not too soft in the middle... This place is definitely good. Was pretty hyped walking in and the dinner met the hype. Highly recommend: Vermicelli with short ribs, green thai tea. The green thai tea has an herbacious after taste I can't put my finger on but its very pleasant. The vermicelli with short ribs might be the best kalbi in Austin. Thin, packed with flavor, great char and slightly sweet. The pickled veg is shockingly good too. I've never praised vegetables on the side on the plate, but here I am doing so. Could probably down a whole plate of it. It also comes with a clear chicken soup that's very palate friendly and refreshing. Pho broth is pretty good, smooth, flavorful and even rich slightly. Wish the portion was a little bigger though. Otherwise pretty standard. Banh mi looks expensive on first glance but its the size of a footlong. The flavors are packed and make your taste buds tingle. I really like the pork or the beef. Crusty crisp bread with that awesome veg and flavorful meat = sign me up. Definitely be back. It's a bit loud, but the atmosphere is nice, warm and hip. You order at the counter and they had a station for jalapenos, onions, the fixin's. I had a full with rare beef and tendons. My friend ordered the Bahn MI sliders which looked amazing! There's also quite a few vegetarian options as well. For downtown Austin, it was very reasonably priced $8.50 for the pho. With an iced tea, it came out to around $10. I didn't taste any lemongrass at all in the beef bowl I ordered (specifically advertised as lemongrass). I'm from Orange County, CA so I know bomb viet food when I taste it. The pho and lemongrass spicy noodle soup (bun bo hue) is not authentic tasting as it is in California but I guess it's up there to Austin standards. The pho here is decent. Not as authentic as Vietnamese pho can get. It's also super expensive. But the inside is so cute and aesthetic! The soup is a bit bland and more like chicken broth. The sandwich doesn't have much meat in it and is bit pricey. The downfall is paying $10-11 for a small bowl of pho. What I do appreciate is the matcha Thai tea. That drink is DELICIOUS! Except it was $5, so not great. The aloe Vera was a bit not fresh and left a funny aftertaste in my mouth. I love Pho Please. Hands down my favorite spot for vietnamese comfort. How can you go wrong with all the options for Pho, Bun, Bao, Bahn and Salads? Everything is made fresh and is enormous. The Bahn Mi sandwich is my splurge treat and is easily 10" and stuffed to the brim. Their pho is hot and filling as well. Not too salty either! The pork belly bao is sweet and savory at the same time, and comes with two buns. These guys put up a fight with 888 down the street as my go to. The quality and the way to prepare them (super thin) might be the secrets. My favorite is spicy lemongrass pho. They are accommodated their customers well and service the food fast.
