Was in the mood for Vietnamese food and came across this little good spot. The restaurant is spacious and has a pretty good menu. The pho was good in flavor with broth fatty and delicious. Dropped by here for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. We were quickly seated as and the restaurant was not very busy. I've been here before and usually order a vermicelli bowl but I thought I'd try something new. For our group, we ended up ordering the grilled beef spring roll, grilled pork spring roll and the shrimp spring rolls as appetizers. The spring rolls came out pretty quickly and were very good. The spring rolls were good size and with a nice peanut sauce accompaniment. The grilled beef was my favorite, but the pork was excellent as well along with the the shrimp spring roll. This is where I feel that this restaurant really shines. I ordered the bun bo hue and my wife ordered the pho. The pho smelled really good when it came out, but it had way too many noodles. The noodle to broth ratio was off, and although the noddles are very filling more of the broth would have made it a much better bowl. I've never tried bun bo hue before, so I don't really have much of a reference point besides what I've seen in videos and pictures previously. The noodles were somewhat thick and very soft. Again, I think they probably put too many noodles but definitely not as much as in the pho. The soup was loaded with sauage and different cuts of meat which was good. I was a bit surprised that it was not spicy at all even though it's supposed to be a spicy soup. The flavor was good, but it lacked the spiciness I was looking for. To be fair, they brought some slices jalapenos that you can use to adjust the heat I just was expecting it to already be spicy. The cabbage that they brought along with the limes and jalapenos was not fresh at all however. I left that in the bag, because it looked kinda gross. Overall, I'm not super impressed with their soups and probably would not return here for the Pho or Bun Bo Hue. I was visiting a friend and was in the area. I found this on yelp do decided to give it a try based on the reviews. This placed is tucked in the back side but you won't miss it. The first thing I noticed was tables outside and I love that. As soon as I walked in someone acknowledged me. The place is cute inside. I ordered shrimp spring rolls and a chicken bahmi sandwich. Dare I say maybe even better than the ones we've had around the bay area. Broths were well seasoned, full of flavor & steaming hot all the way til the end. Decent amount of meat in each. Stopped by without any expectation and had a pleasant surprise with the food we had. - Combination Egg Noodle Soup (Dry): our favorite noodles so we order it everywhere we go. The noodle was pretty well soaked with the sauce, not sure if they have the thick noodles or not since we didn't ask but it'd go great with thick noodles. Served with charsiu, shrimp, fish cakes and a lot of fresh veggies. There's also a soup on the side but I feel like putting carrots in there kinda ruined the taste of the soup. - Char Siu Pork Banh Mi: a good size for a Banh mi to me since it's not too overwhelmed like some places. The bread was good and loaded with charsiu and pickles. However I feel like the bread was on the dry side and should've been a bit more crispy, it wasn't toasted well. Overall I think the foods were good and we wouldn't mind stopping by again when we're in the area. It's near the highway so it's a perfect stop for Vietnamese coffee too. read more

We've been coming here since 2019 and it's been our go to for all things pho. It's been awhile, the quality seemed to waver a bit, but now it's back to consistency and quality taste. Today, it was the BBQ Pork with Egg Noodles and some Baby Bok Choy. Their hallmark has been their broth, the longer it cooks, the better it gets. Today was sublime. We enjoy eating here and have been back several times for lunch and dinner. It's about a 20min drive for us to get here. The food is the real deal. I really like that this pho spot is open earlier than other pho spots in town. We like to take our family there after a night of drinking or anytime the weather is a bit chilly. I get the bun Bo hue every time because the broth is delicious. I don't normally finish my bowl of noodles but I devour this one every time. My husband gets the chicken egg noodle and we would share their fried shrimp rolls ( ask for extra lettuce and pickle veggies for lettuce wraps with your shrimp rolls ) friendly workers and price is fair. I stopped by this afternoon for lunch, and ordered a vermicelli pork bowl for takeout. The place wasn't busy at 10:45 a.m. so within 10 minutes, my order was ready to go. I really liked the grilled pork in the dish: the pork wasn't overly charred, wasn't too fatty, was nicely pre-cut, and portions were large. Additionally, it was very thoughtful of them to have the peanuts separated out as well to prevent them from getting soggy. Noodles were fresh, bouncy, and separated with no issues with the provided sauce. Overall a really great tasting dish that I'd order again. Though I've had cheaper vermicelli bowl in the San Francisco Bay Area, this is likely the best Vietnamese eatery you'll find in Tracy. I would stop by again if I were in the area. read more

Ok so I have ordered take-out a couple of times and this restaurant is consistent! My 4 year old daughter loves their chicken rice noodle soup! There shrimp spring rolls are also really good. What sets this place at a 5 star for me is 1. Their customer service 2. Good tasting food/portion size 3. Take-out! They package their soup individually and make it supper easy to re-heat. Everything that we ordered are delicious..my hubby loved the egg noodles coz the broth is not salty and then the one that I have is the vermicelli which I like coz there's no fishy smell and after taste of the fish sauce..shrimp spring rolls is awesome then tried the ice coffee that has the right amount of ice and sweetness with a little bit of bitterness because of the coffee. It tastes good but the beef and shrimp were on the tough side. The grilled beef is stuffed with I think green onion. It was kinda hard to bite into it. Decided to dine in for lunch so placed an order via door dash for a few items as I haven't tried this restaurant before. I wanted to try the pho but didn't know how well it would travel and wasn't clear about types of broth from the door dash platform. Ordered two types of spring rolls (grilled salmon / shrimp and shrimp) both served with a peanut sauce. The spring rolls were decent and very heavy with veg vs the protein that I couldn't really taste the shrimp or the salmon. The shrimp egg rolls were really good and I devoured them immediately. They were perfectly crisp and the sauce that accompanied it was yummy. The spicy shrimp fried rice was not very spicy and lacking in those pops of flavor that I'm used to. I had to add some sauce and chili sauce to really get the spice level right for my liking. The shrimp was perfectly cooked and on the larger side. This is such an amazing dish!!! I came here this morning and the server recommended me this dish. It called the Vietnamese steak with egg. It comes with the bread on the side as well. I ask for medium rare stead and it comes with a perfect steak cubes that's so soft and yummy:)))) I would give this place over 5 stars if I could because their service is very good. All the servers are so nice and friendly, they are willing to help you as much as they can which is a plus for me. The famous Vietnamese coffee also did not disappoint me at all. This place is the goto spot for soup in Tracy for my wife and I. The soup portions are big and their large soup size is crazy big and good. The young staff is always friendly and attentive to our needs. The location is good with ample parking and the interior is nicely laid out. I can really only recommend the rare steak soup but from what I've seen in the menu there are a lot more other choices like various rice dishes and appetizers. Whenever we go there there are always lots of other people eating there so that tells me the food is good and I imagine they have lots of repeat business. Please give this place a chance and have a meal there if you're looking for some good, belly filling Vietnamese soup or rice dishes. read more
