This was an average Vietnamese restaurant. The pho was about average, specifically the the broth. I wish it was more savior and salty like other places, but it wasn't bad. Since this is one of few places in the area to get pho it will make do if you are craving it. Staff was very friendly. The restaurant was clean, the lighting was a little dim. There was a blue over heard light which made it a little difficult to see. Overall I would rate this about 3.7 stars

I had a great time here! It feels inviting, very quick service, and good customer service. I had great food! The pho was delicious and the spring rolls hit the appetizer spot! Look at my photos, it was well worth the visit!

This is the only pho spot in Midlothian/Chesterfield area to my knowledge. Anytime I am in the mood for some pho and don't feel like driving to the west end this is my spot. They give you a lot of food and you will certainly have leftover. The owner is the absolute sweetest lady ever. My only complaint is that their prices are a lot higher than places on the West End.

There are more tables on the other side of the wall.

A very nice family run restaurant with an extensive menu and ample parking. Nice decor, very clean, and they have a full bar with a nice selection of wine. They also have a nice wine selection. Everything served was fresh and delicious.

This place 2 high fives I was starving and I have nothing but positive feedback - peaceful setting, 2 lovely women as sweet as can be waited on us. The food outstanding fresh, dishes came out warm, food temperature just right. I live 2 hrs away and will be back it's so worth it.

We did takeout from here and I can't say enough on how delicious it is! While I've never been to Vietnam, I feel like this food is the real deal! The fried rice is plentiful and unlike other types of fried rice, stays good for leftovers the next day. It doesn't dry out at all. The pho is amazing! It's not the most appealing take out preparation with the raw meat included, but it's so good! I do recommend that you heat the broth up before you mix it to make sure it's nice and hot to cook the meat. I am obsessed with this food, and recommend it to anyone with a heart for Vietnamese food!

3.5 stars TL;DR: Service was great, food was just okay. I'm pretty picky about my pho, but we decided to give this place a try. We came in at an off time, but there were still several tables full. The service was very friendly and attentive. Food: Pho with round eye and brisket: The flavor of the broth was pretty good, and the texture of the noodles were perfect. I'm not a huge fan of cilantro already in my pho, but I'll just ask for it without next time. Summer rolls: were much smaller than I expected, but just okay Fried spring rolls: Probably our favorite thing. It was loaded with meat, which you don't see often. Sriracha wings: They were very bland, and I couldn't really taste any spice to it. Broken rice with Chicken and Pork: The pork was so good, but the chicken was a very strange texture. Rubbery but also didn't taste like chicken. Might just get the pork chop next time. Not the best Vietnamese restaurant I've been to, but good enough to satisfy a craving. I will definitely be back to try other things on the menu.

Whoever made that deserves a raise and a long weekend. Perfectly cooked, flavorful, and clearly made with love. Now the sriracha honey glazed Brussels sprouts? Listen. I am not easily impressed by Brussels sprouts, but these had me questioning all my past life choices. Sweet, spicy, crispy, and absolutely addictive. The peel-and-eat shrimp were HUGE. Not the "menu said jumbo but lied" kind. These were real deal, grown-up shrimp. Seasoned right, easy to peel, and honestly the star of the table. House hush puppies were hot, crispy, and gone way too fast. The catfish bites fried hard were exactly how we asked and exactly how they should be. Crunchy on the outside, tender inside, no grease overload. On top of all that, the service was great. Attentive, friendly, and never overbearing. The place itself was very nice and festive, which made the whole experience even better. Bottom line: the food was delicious across the board. No misses. No regrets. Just good seafood done right. If you're on the fence, get off it and go eat. You can thank me later.

I ordered a margarita, but unfortunately it made me feel sick after just one sip. I became nauseous and ended up getting sick, so I definitely won't order that again. The entire staff was friendly, professional, and customer forward. The ambiance was great - lighthearted but professional. The dining area was very clean and the room was warm and well lit with natural light which made the space feel even cleaner and more inviting. The staff all had matching shirts (it was cinco de mayo so it's possible it was celebratory rather than the norm but it carried well either way) Now to the food. The food was enjoyable. It didn't wow me, but I definitely enjoyed my meal. The chips and salsa were on point. The flavor of the rice and beans were better than many others. The beef taco and enchilada were flavorful enough but had it not been for the salsa from the chips that I ended up adding, it would have been mediocre at best. But here's the thing... the value was not there. The food is overpriced. What you see in the photo was a $20 meal before tip - and his was the cheapest offering on their lunch menu. (The plate was $13 and the side of beans, $5) I had a water otherwise, I would've been closer to $25 for sure. So overall, a good experience. Good food, very good service, very clean and welcoming but the value was the biggest dent in the experience. I'm willing to go back and try other items onto the menu but I'm prepared now. Bring a little extra dinero.

We thought…read morewe were going to have to wait for a while, but we were pleasantly surprised that the patio was open on a first-come, first-served basis, so we sat outside. It was a pretty nice evening with a light breeze. It was perfect, since they had over-the-top heaters and then a beautiful heater that came on at the end of the patio. We started out by ordering some old-fashioned drinks to sip, and they were amazing! Beautifully made and spot on with the flavor. For food, we decided to order from the three-course dinner menu. My husband started with a steakhouse wedge salad, and I had the chicken tortilla soup. Wow, both were so yummy. My husband could not say enough about his salad. My soup was bursting with flavor and full of chicken. And because we apparently needed to be extra, we had to order the lobster spinach queso because it sounded amazing, which it certainly was. It was full of lobster, spinich and pepper jack cheese!!! For the entree, my husband had the wood-grilled chicken, and I ordered the grilled salmon and shrimp. He said the entree was incredible. He loved the mushrooms and tomatoes grilled on top and especially raved about the parmesan mashed potatoes. The chicken was juicy and flavorful. My grilled salmon and shrimp were spot on. The shrimp were thick, and the salmon was grilled to perfection. Both were topped with a light aji amarillo sauce that was fantastic together. To me, the ancient grains pilaf topped the whole thing off, the salmon with the pilaf and sauce were a perfect three-piece combo that had me wanting more and more with each bite. For dessert, we both ordered the petite creme brulee cheesecakes. At this point, I was bursting, but the gorgeous vision in front of me could not be wasted!!!! The cheesecake had a perfect light crunch on top and paired beautifully with the fruit and dollop of whipped cream on the plate. Our server was kind and prompt with our food, even when she seemed very busy. Overall, it was fantastic, and we have plans to return.

I had questions about the menu (the steaks) and she was able to answer half of them and while she didn't know the answers to my other questions she did willingly seek out the answers. Fin is a Rockstar. Ask for her my name. Food: Also excellent. The chicken tortilla soup is okay. (It comes with sour cream and I am not sure if it said that on the menu. I don't like s.c.). The pre-entreé bread was fresh and hot. Nice :) The steak was cooked perfectly! Maybe just a pinch over seasoned for me, but nothing to complain about. The only thing I can and will speak negatively about was plate presentation. That was bad. Blah. Unappealing and uninviting. Ambience: It was okay. As to be expected from Firebirds. It is well lit, a little loud but still easily able to have a conversation. This would be a 5 star review if it wasn't for one thing. Training and staff knowledge. I recently went to another local Firebirds and I had asked the waitstaff and front of house manager a couple of questions about their steaks. All the answers I received were incorrect. I know they were incorrect because their corporate executive chef and I had previously chatted about it. When I contacted Firebirds about this the GM of this located invited be back. When I went to this location I asked the same questions and I still did not received the correct answers. So, clearly Firebirds has some systemic issues with their training program. Ultimately this could have negatively affected my experience but since I already knew more that the staff did, it did not. So, here, today, I have to give 4 star. Better training would have gotten them a 5 star. I spoke with the GM of this location at the time of my visit. He was fully engaged and did not hesitate to take ownership of his staff's training and knowledge and assured me that they will do better moving forward. From our friendly conversation, I believe him. Maybe I will try a Firebird location in Richmond in another six months and ask the same questions. Let see if their training improves.
