I decided to try this place because my nail tech told me it was better than most Vietnamese owned pho places in the New Tampa area. I must say, I was quite impressed. Perfect amount of noodle and broth for the pho. Could use a little more meat, but overall, it's still satisfying! Customer service was superb, the gentleman served all tables and was very friendly and polite. Oh and I LOVEEEE that they bring out vinaigrette sliced onions to accommodate. Yummy!

This is my all time favorite pho spot in Tampa. Very aromatic with all the 5 spices and the oil on top is my favorite part. It's fragrant, delicious, and it keeps the bowl piping hot the entire time you eat. The steak is tender and flavored perfectly to eat with the noodles and the marinated onions that come with the bowl. This bowl of pho lives in my dreams. Have tried other items on menu too, banh mi, egg rolls, and fried rice are all incredibly delicious as well. Server Katherine always takes care too!

I'm so glad I decided to stop by this random spot today. While running around getting stuff done this Saturday, I stumbled across this pho spot. And it did not disappoint. Nice clean relaxing interior. The service was on point. Staff super friendly. And the food even better. Large menu. The pho was amazing. I got brisket and steak medium. It's cool that here they have the option to make it spicy. I decided to play it safe and get regular. Next time though for sure. Pics below

I am in complete awe of this place. I am visiting from out of town and this type of restaurant is heaven for me! SO. MANY. VEGAN. OPTIONS. I ordered the vegan gyoza, & vegan pho combo which came with a choice of spring roll or steamed bun. I choice the bao and it was very good! I was extremely happy with everything I ordered. My husband ordered the beef pho combo and he chose the steamed bun. My only complaint is that the waitress accidentally charged us for the combo including the drink, which was $3 extra and we didn't notice until we were already gone. Other than that, she was very nice, the service was good, and the food came out quickly. I will definitely be back if I have the time during my vacation.

Pho Tampa is a new Vietnamese eatery and not the same as Trang Viet or Trang Noodle. So tak in consideration the older reviews, etc. The waitress that seated me and helped me out was very pleasant and we talked about Vietnamese food. I went with the pho Bac. She explained how it was made and it was a very good bowl of soup, just a different way than all the other places make pho. They also gave me a side of onions and these little churros type things that you dip in the pho broth. Yum, that was a tasty experience.

Does anyone know why this restaurant closed? It was my favorite. :(

Good news! They're re-opening in a new location! It's my wife's favorite restaurant as well, and she went by the new location just last night on the off chance they were open. They aren't yet, but apparently they're just waiting on the fire…

The customer service was great very attentive and fast . chicken was hard and chewy not edible and the noodles were a little too starchy for me and seemed slightly undercooked. The pork and rice was very plain with no veggies, which was disappointing since my kid actually loves her veggies The spring rolls arrived cold and hard and came with fish sauce; peanut sauce is available, but you have to ask for it. We also tried the vanilla bubble waffle with cookies & cream ice cream. The waffle itself was fresh, a good size, and comes with two toppings we opted for fruit. Unfortunately, the ice cream tasted stale and freezer-burned, so Id skip the ice cream scoop They do have a huge variety on the menu, so I may come back and try a few different dishes next time.

The pho tai was so comforting, and they were generous with their potions of meat and veggies as compared to other places. I added a fried egg on top since that's my favorite addition to eat with banh mis in general. The bread was cripsy on the outside and soft on the inside, and they were generous with their portions of pork and veggies. The egg added a saucy element to it, and helped to create a more hearty and comforting meal. Wish I got more sandwiches for lunches the following days.

The service was great, Delane my waitress took my order and checked in on me at the right intervals of time to see if I needed anything. The manager "chino Jay" also warmly greeted me and made me feel welcome. I requested some extra "beef tendon" for my Pho and he quickly responded to fulfill my request. Speaking of PHO: The pho was excellent -- rich, clear broth with plenty of tender beef, fresh herbs, bean sprouts, and that perfect balance of savory and brightness. Exactly what you want in a big bowl of pho. The grilled short ribs plate was another standout. Beautifully charred, flavorful meat served with a fried egg, yellow rice, fresh cucumber, tomato, pickled veggies, and a solid dipping sauce. Everything on the plate worked together. The bánh mì was fresh and well-built -- crisp baguette, good filling, plenty of pickled carrot/daikon, cucumber, and cilantro. No sogginess, just solid execution. They even got the Vietnamese iced coffee right -- strong, sweet, and properly iced in a big glass mug. Portions are generous, the food tastes authentic, and the place feels clean and welcoming. If you're craving real Vietnamese food, Pho 813 delivers. Will definitely be back.

I visited twice, once for lunch and once for dinner, and found that the selection was pretty much exactly the same both times, The pho is only on weekends, dry noodles and meat are pre-portioned into bowls, and the broth wasn't hot enough to properly warm the meat or soften the noodles, leaving them on the dry side instead of tender...I couldn't finish my bowl The bánh xèo was nice and crispy but quite oily and only had 1-2 pieces of shrimp. Some dishes were flavorful and fresh, while others seemed like they had been sitting out for a while and weren't kept hot enough. The standout dishes for me were the rice congee, bánh cuốn, chicken wings, and the caramelized fish. Those were well done and the reason I'd consider coming back. The restaurant was clean, and the staff were attentive. Overall, it's worth trying at least once if you're curious about a Vietnamese buffet, but compared to many of the excellent Vietnamese restaurants in the Tampa Bay area, I still prefer ordering freshly made dishes over the buffet. With a little more variety, hotter food, and a few quality improvements, this place could easily be a worth the price. * Weekdays: $24/adult, kids are half price * Weekends: $29/adult, kids are half price *4 and under free

I live in Miami where there isn't much Vietnamese food but my parents moved to Pinellas Park only a few minutes away from this restaurant so I was super excited to visit and go with them! Vietnamese buffets are not a common business model, and from other types of buffets you know that sometimes the quality can suffer, but Quan Ngon strikes a great balance between quality but also diverse options from many subtypes of Vietnamese cuisine. I won't be able to go into everything I tried (that would be a novel) but I will hit some of the highlights: - Grilled pork with broken rice: pork was marinated well, savory and sweet with a nice chargrilled taste, great with the rice + eggs + scallion oil or even by itself - Curry chicken: tastes very similar to how I remember my family does it, light but a bit creamy and with tender chicken and potatoes - Braised clay pot fish (but it's buffet style so served in a warming tray): savory, a bit sweet, tender fish that goes well with rice to soak up all the sauce - Fish sauce wings: not a super traditional dish but it's popping up all over modern Vietnamese restaurants now, slightly crisp outside juicy inside with a delicious savory sweet just salty enough glaze - Dessert (Che) bar: I'm not a huge fan of Vietnamese desserts, but I have to admit their row of Vietnamese desserts are well cooked, and sweet but not too sweet (also approved by my Vietnamese parents so you know it's legit!) For the price, the Quan Ngon Bistro buffet is more than worth it; for not too much above the price of a single entree at most other restaurants, you get to try a generous array of well made dishes. Whether you are native Vietnamese or trying Vietnamese cuisine for the first time, I'd definitely recommend stopping by!
