Food 9/10 Service 10/10 This was a unique yet very pleasant experience , here's why The pho broth was unlike any others I've had, a lot of Vietnamese restaurants use msg , so instinctively my expectations were something along those lines but I was wrong . The broth here was fresh tasting, flavorful and hit just as much as the other artificially enhanced broths I've had. I added some sriracha as well as lime to further elevate the experience. It's the only time I've actually ever chosen to finish the broth after eating the noodles. Banh mi - Always been a sucker for banh mi and I came in hungry so this was the second part of my meal. Thoughts? First the pork is seasoned and cooked to perfection , in fact it might be some of the best pork I've had however my only criticism is the mayo because everything else was perfect. I had the pleasure of speaking to the owner Juan and he was very passionate about doing things the right way. He's big on health and wanted the pho to be as natural as possible , the broth itself takes about 24 hours to make and you can taste it. The best vietnamese i've had in a long time. It's our new spot we will go to going forward. The pho was tasty. Fried rice was very good. Their smoothie was delicious. Their sandwich was excellent. I've had my eye on this place for a while as i've been meaning to find a very good vietnamese restaurant but so many are a miss..but this one stood out. This is the best pho I have ever tried, and I don't say that lightly as I love pho & Vietnamese food in general. But Viet Haus blew all past experiences out of the water. We had the chance to speak with the owner who was so kind- his family is born and raised in Vietnam and he came to America when he was young. So he knows his cultures food truly, and it showed. He told us the broth is completely homemade, with all real and whole ingredients and stews for 24 hours before it's served. I could tell that it tasted different from most other broths I have tried. And all I can say it that was it absolutely divine. It warmed your soul in a special way that only good, homemade with love cooking can. Everything we tried was just spectacular. This little restaurant has very limited seat. Menu is very simple two page. This probably family own and try to thrive in Bay Area. Price is in the medium range. One of the best things for sure is the Banh Mi. We got the pork belly banh mi. The bread is definitely crispy and the pork quality is good. We also got the Vietnamese crepe with shrimp. The shrimp is no head but the shell still there. I think even the Vietnam sell this way but for America the shrimp need to loose the shell. I got the Banh Canh Cha Ca. It is a clear broth with crab cake, fish cake and more. Great for cold day food. read more

When we were there, the AC was not working, they put on a portable AC and they didn't have sugar cane that day. So it was kind of disappointed. However, the food was good. I had a S1 Banh Xeo pan cake. It got shrimp, slice pork belly, bean sprout. I warpped the pan cake in lettuce with fresh herbs. It was very tasty. We also had B5 pork belly Banh mi. Their special spread in the bun made the sandwich tasted unique and delicious. The seafood udon soup N2 was also good. Especially the crab meatball. It's the highlight of the whole bowl. My wife and I stopped in here for dinner as the place we planned on was closed. So we were driving back towards home and found this place. The place is very small, just a few tables and family run. Limited menu but every we had was fantastic. Like the best Pho we ever had. My wife had a chicken thigh dish that was very good and excellent fried rice. The servers were very polite and attentive. They introduced themselves and asked us what we would like to drink. We kindly told them this was our first time so we'd like to look over the menu. We both got taro boba tea the ordered after looking over the menu. The chicken pho, beef pho, and bánh mì was delicious, very filling and addicting. My brother got the shrimp spring roll and he loved it. The taro boba tea was ok, but I'm use to having more condense milk in mine (teehee). They are very hospitable, family orientated and are health concious, they have alkaline water from Japan and no msg in their food. My husband and I loved this place. We drove forty minutes out of the way during rush hour traffic, because I saw online that it's listed in the top ten Best Pho in Tampa, and the food did not disappoint. We had two different pho bowls, egg rolls, spring rolls, two Thai teas with boba, and a passion fruit milk tea with rainbow jellies. The warmth and hospitality of this cozy little restaurant is unmatched. We were promptly served by the owner himself, and when we mentioned we have an upcoming trip to Vietnam this summer, we had a long chat about the countries history, things to be aware of, and things to do. While in Tampa, my husband and I were looking for a place to eat while car shopping. He pulled up to Viet Haus. I'm from Seattle, I had great Pho very often. But I have found that since moving to Florida 4 years ago I have been sadly disappointed in the Asian food here. It's a small place inside and was completely packed. We were told 20-25 minutes wait. We decided to wait. While waiting a man who was waiting for his to go order started talking to us about the food. He said everything is fresh. No MSG, no broth powders. He said it is as close to authentic food in Vietnam he had tried. We were very impressed and couldn't wait to try the food. We started with fresh spring rolls. They were really good. The peanut sauce had an interesting fresh taste. There is only one size Pho. I ordered Pho Ga (chicken) and my husband tried the rice after listening to the man rave about it being his favorite. When the pho arrived, I could instantly smell the star of anise. To my delight not only was it delicious, but it was the best broth I've ever had. Go figure!! What a wonderful surprise. My husband started eating the rice and commented , wow this is really good. It took about an hour from the time we came in, until we were served. But it was worth the wait! If you're in a hurry, this is not the place. I believe only two people work there, one in front and a cook. Not one customer in there seemed upset at how long it took to get their food.
