The pho broth is bomb here. This is no cinnamon water! This broth is prepared with depth and flavor. I had the veggie pho but I got the beef broth. Was utterly delighted by the plethora of texture and ingredients in the veggie pho. This is itself an accomplishment because many places treat veggie pho like a second act. Not here. This is the real deal. The restaurant is utterly cosy with lovely aunties serving, preparing tables, and dishing out the soup bowls. Portion sizes are generous and the fish in the large tank are mesmerizing to watch. The pho came with very clean and generous portions of acoutrements like basil, lime, and jalapeno. Nothing to complain about here. Speedy service and superb taste! The Buddha with dollar bills tucked into this nooks and crannies makes a lovely statement about culture/humor. When we want Pho we always choose Pho Than. We came at 720pm and they told us they close at 8pm, which wasn't a problem for us because we know the service is fast and we'd be done eating in no time. I always get the veggie with beef broth. They give lots of bean sprouts, basil, limes, and jalapeno. Pho comes out super fast and the broth is always extra hot! Perfect for wet winter days. Decent pho place. Nothing really special. They do give you a free cream puff as a dessert which was nice. We got a small pho #12 which comes with different types of beef cuts (flank, tendons,etc). There was not a lot of protein to be honest, but plenty of veggies. The pho broth was standard. We also got a fresh spring roll dish which came in a plastic wrap (I found this weird as it was dine in). Again, plenty of veggies, not a lot of noodles and decent shrimp and ham. Huge fan of Pho Than Brothers. Being Vietnamese, it can be harder to find pho that actually tastes like pho! This place is definitely a winner and always hits the spot at whatever branch I'm at. I'm a sucker for pho dac biet and it's always my go to when ordering pho. They don't seem to have that option at Pho Than branches but they do have something closer which is the #14. You can always add meatball & other toppings to make it a dac biet though! The food came out super quick, probably within 5 minutes of ordering and we were eating at the lunch rush! Keep in mind that their employee lunch is from 3:30pm-4pm and I think they lock the doors and stop service for that chunk of time. What I love about this branch in particular is that they offer a free cream puff with every bowl of pho! If you've ever had a Vietnamese cream puff, you know it's freakin' delicious. These aren't as good as the fresh ones you can get from bakeries, but still a nice treat once you're done with your bowl of pho. They also charge a small fee if you decide to pay with card here, so might not be a bad idea to have cash handy. Tip: ask for hot bean sprouts! read more

I went here earlier this week and I found a fly in my soup also the meat to noodle ratio was alarming I feel like for the price there was barely any meat and a lot of noodles. My friends & I wanted to grab pho after a night of drinking. After trying multiple restaurants, we were able to dine-in at Pho Than Brothers in Edmonds. I went w/ their Tai Chin which comes w/ eye-round steak & briskets. They also gave each of us 1 custard puff complimentary. The pho overall was pretty good & filling. Having a custard puff w/ your meal is nice as well. I think the restaurant does a good job when it comes to social distancing for COVID. They have plexiglass barriers to separate between each tables, in which they had stickers all over it to probably make sure no one runs into them. read more

Every Pho Than brothers restaurants I go to, it's consistent and that's what I love about it. Whenever, I order my Steak & Brisket pho or Veggie pho, the flavor is always the same, service is as usual, and the food always comes out so quickly! I've been to this location several times now after I found out they finally accept cards because I never seem to carry cash when I pass by this location but beware they do charge a fee! The most recent visit, I was sad to say that their spring rolls weren't top notch as it usually is... the rolls seems to have been pre-made and it was getting closer to the "it's been sitting out too long and it's crunchy in a not so appetizing way" ... This is one of the only locations up north that I know of that sells spring rolls and to have a "old left out" spring roll this past visit makes me question if I want to order spring rolls from here again... But don't let that scare you from coming here to order their pho! read more

Usually when you eat Pho it's got slices of meat in it. I ordered the number two which has two kinds of meat. You can usually tell the difference between the two meats. My daughter and I came here for lunch and got a large rare beef pho and some egg rolls. Pho broth was meh, egg rolls were great. I ordered a large rare steak to go for my husband and we were very disappointed that it didn't come with basil, bean sprouts, lime or any sauce. We've never gotten pho to go without getting those items. The broth container was only 1/2 full as well. I don't know if that's their "large" portion but it seems a like a small amount for a large. This is what a pho restaurant should be.... simple and fast. The menu is simple as can be...pretty much 95% of the menu is pho with a few options for appetizers such as spring rolls. The restaurant is a good sized place with plenty of tables. I marveled at how quick this place was!!! Literally 2 minutes after we ordered, our bowls of pho came out!! That's the way pho should be served. The broth is already made; all you have to do is pour the broth over the cooked noodles and whatever toppings you ordered. I got an extra-large bowl of the #14 which is basically their House Special with every type of meat. It has steak, flank, brisket, tendon and tripe. For $9, I thought it was great value for an extra-large bowl. Depending on how hungry you are, there are 4 different sizes of bowls to choose from. The broth was tasty and flavorful and the noodles weren't overcooked. I like how generous they are with amount of meat. I mean...for an XL bowl, I better be getting a lot! My only gripe about this place is that it's cash only. Make sure you bring cash! Also, it's cool how they serve complimentary cream puffs too! My boyfriend and we ordered 2 small bowls of meatballs and rare beef pho, extra broth (3.50) and a Vietnamese coffee (3.95) and our total came out to be almost 30 dollars..... I think the bowl is 7 dollars each...so tax plus all the "extra" stuff hey had to add was about 7 dollars. Omg!!! This is the most expensive pho spot I've ever been to. I didn't look clearly at the menu, but they didn't have s meatball and beef pho so I assume they had to just order a beef pho and add meatballs?! Which was like 3 or 4 dollars each. I almost had a heart attack! I kept saying, "30 for 2 small bowls of pho?!" I was kind of in disbelief. The flavor of the broth was alright,but not hot enough to their style of serving. I love going to pho places. I haven't been here in forever. I'm use to going to bamboo house in Bothell, but it was nice to come back to one of my favorite pho places. I ended up getting a large 14. I've noticed they've raised the prices, but in this economy, the prices have gotta go up at sometime. I got a large #14, which basically had everything in it. I like the everything bowl cause it gives a chance to sample all the meats. I think tendon is one of my favorite things because of the texture. It's not for everyone, but i enjoyed it. I drank about half of the broth. I would drink more of it, but my stomach could not contain that much liquid. One of highlights of Than Bros is the fact that they give you a cream puff with each order. I think that's the highlight. One of the other things that I really like here is their french coffee. It comes with a lot of condensed milk. I ended up getting it cold, which they server with a cup full of ice and in a french press. It's fun just to see the coffee come out, and being able to mix it with the condensed milk at the bottom. I had to add some extra water, but overall a great experience.
