I live an hour away from this restaurant, but I was in town visiting a friend. I came in about half an hour before they closed, as I was coming from a wedding downtown with bad traffic. I ordered some of the fresh shrimp rolls and a bowl of pho. I asked them to customize it and make it shrimp pho, which they were able to do. The spring rolls were packed with herbs and were delicious. The pho broth was out of this world.... perfect seasoning and spices. You could tell they spent a long time preparing the broth. My buddy talked me into going here. What an awesome surprise. Although they don't have a huge dining area, maybe ten tables, this is a great place. I had some pho soup and couldn't even finish it since the bowl was humongous and there were a ton of noodles. I got a smoothie to go, pineapple mango with tapioca and it was great too. I went for a late lunch, so there was not a big crowd. The service was very attentive. That was my first real spring roll, I'm not a big fan of mint in my food but I enjoyed them very much. The Pho was a very large portion for me especially getting the spring rolls. I was able to take half of it all home. She put it in the take out containers for me and in the bag she included chop sticks, plastic wear and napkins which I thought was above and beyond for to go. I visited the area from San Francisco, California, and I was looking for a warm bowl of pho. That's when I found this gem that just opened! The staff wore Ao Dai (traditional Vietnamese dresses) for their grand opening and greeted me with friendly smiles. Everyone was very courteous and polite. This place has been my Sunday ritual for the past 2 months. The weekend bun bo pho is amazing. I have been to many pho restaurants in Chinatown that can't hold a candle to this place. The broth is so rich and the vegetables are always incredibly fresh. Only complaint is the size of the restaurant which I won't deduce from the rating for, People have found out about this place and it's gotten busier on weekends. Sometimes you have to awkwardly stand next to other tables to wait to sit down. The bahn mi sandwiches are awesome also. Hopefully they make enough money to open up a bigger location because this one is very small and tucked into the back of a strip mall, you'd never notice it driving by. read more

I visited this new Phô place with great anticipation. The soup was pretty good, but not the best I've had in this area. I noticed how attentive the service was for other guests. I visited alone, and often got over looked while the servers catered to the parties of more than one. They had one customer's order memorized as he was a regular. Just moved to the area from up north and was craving some pho and spring roll. I was hoping to find a place that is close by that serves some homemade pho and spring roll, however this was not it. It was very bland and on top of that the sauce that I was given for the pho was in a mini container that barely gave the broth any flavor at all. The spring roll was ok, kind of annoying that they decided to cut off the ends of the spring rolls cuz the noodles were falling all over the place. The broth taste very well compare to other pho joints I been at...even in Uptown area. The downside of it that there wasn't enough beef balls(2 balls cut in half), steak (3-4 thin slices of steak) and very little noodles with a bowl filled with broth. The portion is smaller for me vs at other places. The price is $2 more than your average pho....the highest I ever seen pho priced at is $10. The average is $8.50 but if I am paying $10 I expect a lil more or what so ever. Even pho joints in uptown serve more meat and noodles in your pho and it's not even $10. I just felt like I paid $10 for good broth. Furthermore, It's good to know this place is run by actual Vietnamese people since I heard them yelling about something in the back. There's a few pho places that are not run or cook by Vietnamese people and it's a disappointment because it don't taste like what it's supposed too. Anyways, my waiter Felica was good and everything. Also, my avocado smoothie was the bomb! I got it with tapioca although it took them awhile to warm it up, but they apologize which I'm cool about and all for waiting. Lastly, to add to the 3 stars..the downside of it is that I noticed they charge extra 0.50 cents on To-go items to pay for the containers. Who tf does that? Only this pho place does. Like bruhhhh , they don't even do that in the city, but y'all out here in the Naperville suburb do that. I was in the area and stopped by here based on reviews and I stay an hour away toward the Northwest suburbs and decided to bring some pho back to my fam so they can be the judge of the broth and I notice the lil .50 at the bottom of the items I ordered To-go. Overall, the restaurant was good but I just felt my potion is small and I paid $10. You either find a pho joint with disappointing broth but with decent amount of noodles and meat or less meat and noodles with good broth. The wife and I just returned home from enjoying a really simple but tasty dinner at Pho Thien Vietnamese Kitchen in Naperville. The shrimp spring roll appitizer with peanut sauce was promptly brought to the table along with our drink order and was a pleasantly light prelude to the entree. We both ordered beef Pho. They offer it on the menu in variations. The menu lists each dish in Vietnamese while showing the main ingredients in English. If you like beef noodle soup, you will love the complex and satisfying flavor of the Pho. It is served with a selection of tasty add ons. You can spice it up with a varity of condiments. We live in Aurora and eat at restaurants nearby quite often. The restaurants around here is all of your normal mainstream Asian/Vietnamese staples, however this restaurants is unique and different. The staff here is excellent and their attitudes are amazing. The menu has a wide variety of selections it kinda makes it hard to select a dish. The environment here is really cozy and there's many tables and chairs. Overall, our stay here was amazing me and friend will definitely be returning soon when we have the time. read more
