I have been here twice now in the past month and I have to say its a go-to Pho house for me. The pho Broth is spectacular, and it is very meaty with the Pho Ti large. I really want to love Pho Tiger as their broth has a nice flavor and the veggies are fresh. But they are very skimpy on their meat portions at least ordering through Grubhub. Also, the general portion size wasn't big through Grubhub. I've eaten there in person which is much better as they offer a larger size bowl. Unfortunately, that's no longer an option. If you choose Pho Tiger call in your order. A lot of restaurants have to charge more through delivery services so it's better to call in and pick up yourself just like the good old days. Housed in the former Pho Binh Minh space next to Joann's, I was weary of coming here because the previous Pho place was downright terrible. But I was surprised at how the new owners turned this place around. Very clean and the food tasted really good. Portion sizes were about the same as other Viet places and it's one of those fast casual places where you walk up to the cash register and order. Not really a fan of these since I feel rushed to order but it was pretty empty that day so I took my good old time perusing the entire menu) Service was attentive and the staff accommodated us when we wanted to order extra noodles for my kids' pho and brought us extra empty bowls so the kids could share (without us asking for them. Nice!) The only thing I took a star off for was the price. Given that this part of 99W isn't exactly the swankiest part of town, the prices were a tad higher than what I'm used to seeing in Vietnamese joints. Lake O, sure but Tigard? Overall, a pretty positive experience and I'm glad to not have to trek over to 82nd to get my pho fix. read more

I got the bun (vermicelli) with marinated pork and egg rolls. It was quite good. The pork was super thin, but tasty. Also good were the pork spring rolls, the egg rolls, and the shrimp spring rolls with peanut sauce. We eat a lot of Vietnamese food. My daughter and I were both happy with the food, so Pho Tiger is worth a return visit. read more

I got a small Pho $9 and Grilled Pork sandwich $4.75 Even though the flavors were good, there wasn't much Pho. I then saw them serve someone the size Large Pho and it was nearly DOUBLE the size...for a $1 more! For once, I regret not being up-charged. Bland, and unfortunately not in a subtle good way. Was really hoping this place would be decent as yes the folks who run it are very friendly and the prices are okay. But wow, when we got our bowls it tasted like water. I like water just fine, but was looking forward to something a little more. My companion, who really likes bland food was even bored. They said it tasted like a 'church picnic hamburger.' I'm not exactly sure what that means, but they said it's means boring. If you do go know that they have some sauces stashed behind the counter, which do help. I used a mini mountain of hot chili in oil and fish sauce with chilis, that provided enough zing to ensure I didn't fall asleep from boredom and drown in my soup. I first had pho in a small family-owned place in the north of Austin, and it ruined me on pho for the longest time- regardless of where I was living (St Louis, Colorado, etc) no pho stood up to the stuff from Austin. I can say that this is the best pho I've had in Oregon. I've tried a bunch of places around the suburbs, and while I haven't made it into Portland and can't speak of the pho there, Pho Tiger is the tip-top. Excellent, well-balanced broth, delicious meat component, and generous helpings. I will definitely be coming here when I'm looking for local pho. read more

I hardly ever write any reviews. When I do, it's either really good or really bad. This one unfortunately is the latter of the two. I don't live in the area and this was my first (and last visit). While the food quality and taste wasn't bad at all, there were two major things that bothered me enough to write this review. Firstly it's the service. Other than the server bringing out the order, everything is self service. You order at the register, grab your own water and utensils and yet they expect you to pay 18% tip upfront before you get any kind of service. I get more service than this at McDonalds. Secondly it's the portion. Ordered large pho, pork chop, fried rice, and a few other items. Large pho had two chopsticks full of noodles and 3 to 4 pieces meat. A bowl of instant cup noodles fill me up more this large pho. Pork chops... again taste wasn't bad at all but the portion was just pathetic. At the end of the day, we spent $150 including the tip as family and left the restaurant still feeling hungry. read more

With a beautiful melody and amazing restaurant this place is a gem in Tigard. I ordered P.13 pho tai. The dish was brought out almost instantly. I didn't even have enough time to take my jacket off lol. The pho itself was almost like any other pho I've had before, but with the addition of garlic it definitely separated from all others that I've had. I had ordered the large, at first glance I thought is was kind of small, but once I started eating I realized it was the perfect size. The gentleman that was there to greet us and take our order was so wonderful! He had a lot of pride in the place and understandably so! Although it's in a strip mall, as soon as you get inside, you wouldn't know it. As a result, Five stars for its category. It was super clean and calming atmosphere with nice heavy wood tables and decor. The Pho and the spicy lemongrass noose bowl were absolutely delicious (the broth and a great depth of flavor) and it came out super fast. The fried shrimp appetizer was a huge hit with the table, (don't miss it) and the pad Thai was enjoyed as well. It felt good to support a kind and hard working small business after all the Covid closures. The pho place before was horrible and surprised how long it did last....the decor is better, you order at the counter and it's self service. Tried the pho and egg rolls. Ordered a large, but was given little noodles, more like a small bowl, not too impressed. The broth isn't bad, needs a bit more flavor. The employees were nice. I get this is one of the few places open right now for dine in.. that being said drive somewhere else!! The service here is some of the worst I have ever experienced. First off only one person in the place speaks limited English, which you would think means good for this type of food.. did you know egg rolls are served cold now? Well I did not , what a surprise my cosco egg rolls we're still slightly frozen cold.. pho was ok just like any body else that has good service. Ordered ate entire large bowl of pho and still waiting on drinks. I only ordered a mt dew and they come in a can and a bubble tea which a machine makes in a matter of seconds.. I have asked twice, ate all my food, and wrote this review but still no drinks!! Wtf starting to wonder if I can contest the $40 charge for food you have to prepay for with my bank now!
