Small place to dine in. So, when they got slammed, it was hard for them to keep up. I ordered crab rangoons and pho. Both tasted great and portions were good. I had a bit of a problem with their thai tea latte. 1. Kinda bitter, may have just been an off batch. 2. I ordered it once while eating and then ordered the bubble tea version at the end. But I was served the bubble tea version in a glass for dining in instead of a to go cup. 3. Overcooked pearls. 4. Too much ice. So, you might need to be specific when ordering your bubble tea but the price was only $4.95! So, can't complain too much when other places are charging $6 or more in the area! After eating I asked if there were any dessert items and was told there were none. They did however include typical items from a chinese menu, like general tso's chicken, sweet and sour, etc. After everything was totalled up I feel like the price was really good! After all is said and done, I would definitely go back because of the prices! But I hope some dessert items are added in the near future! read more

--Good food, superb customer service. My family was headed back from an event late evening and we decided pho sounded good. I had stopped here before for take-out pho (which wasn't bad), but I wanted to try it freshly prepared. Upon entering there were a few other patrons seated, and we were immediately seated. The waitress came out and asked our daughter if she would like a booster seat. When our daughter said yes, the waitress went back and got one, then came back out and offered our daughter help getting into it. After our daughter said yes, the waitress lifted her up into the seat. We ordered an appetizer as we looked over the menu for what to order our daughter. I went with the Seafood Pho special, a mix of shrimp, crab meat, and squid. My wife went with the P14, and we ordered the House Special Lo Mein for our daughter. We didn't have to wait long for the appetizer, and it was very good. The crab rangoons were some of the best I have had, the shrimp were tossed in a coconut batter and tasted excellent, and the egg rolls were good too. About the time we were finishing the appetizer our bowls of pho came out. We started eating our very warm/hot soup (just the way we like it). The Lo Mein wasn't far behind, and the waitress was again very helpful when she asked our daughter if she would like help being served. When we were finishing our meal, I asked for a container for my left over pho, and she asked if I wanted more broth to take with me. So I scored some bonus broth, and again the waitress was very helpful in helping us box up our meal. After paying, another of the staff offered our daughter a sucker, and she was set. While there pricing is slightly more than some of the places we visit north of the river, and there are fewer noodle options, this restaurant is solid. We have never received this customer service at other pho places we have visited, let alone many other restaurants of any sort. Paying a little more and not having to drive 30+ minutes to just be another seat at the table is well worth it. read more

Phò Valley restaurant has great-tasting piping-hot Pho in different bowl sizes. We love their fresh and fried egg rolls, grilled pork with jasmine rice, Pork Bành Mí sandwich, and fried rice with vegetables and tofu, and hot tea. Their other pork/chicken dishes are yummy, too. I love this place. For the longest time I wanted a good Pho place in the south suburbs, and Pho Valley definitely fulfilled that wish. Pho here is delicious and great. This is a small shop with the family owned vibe for sure. Every time you come here, it's the same group of people who will be serving you. It is comforting. I usually order the beef Pho and my kids orders the sesame or lemongrass chicken. I must they they are both amazing plates. I order over the phone many times and they always have my food ready to go within 15 minutes and the way they pack each item packs in separate boxes and the broth is a totally separate box is smart. I can secure the broth somewhere in the vehicle where it will not tip over and I can put other bag anywhere since there are no liquid on that bag. Anyway. I love this place and try to give them my money every time I need Pho and also suggest them to friends and family as a support. I want this place to stay open and not move away. read more

Just had lunch here, and a little disappointed. I love PHO! We go at least once a week to a couple of our favorites In St. Paul so I was excited to learn there was a place a little closer to home. I read the reviews and decided to wait a little while so they could work their kinks out, I understand every place is going to encounter some set backs in their first few weeks/months. We started by ordering fresh spring rolls which came in an order of 4...they are quite sizable and I wish we could have just ordered 2. Don't get me wrong, we are them! They weren't the best around, but certainly not the worst. 3 out of 5? I ordered the P15 PHO with round steak, husband ordered same but with brisket as well. When they arrived it was a perfect size bowl considering I just finished 2 spring rolls. They don't serve the massive bowls like in St. Paul, but I also never finish my entire bowl at the other places. Waste not want not. It came with all the standard sides, and steaming hot. I love Pho! I've had it at many dozen places. I've had some amazing Pho where the noodles and meat are locally sourced and the spices handpicked and imported. While the ingredients are simple, the spices, broth, noodles, and meat, mastering the combination is an art. The Pho here is good. The broth has good flavor with a balance of spices and beef flavor. Ive eaten here four times and one time the broth was more cloudy but still tasted good. The noodles should not be overcooked and mushy or slimy. Each time I've eaten here the noodles were cooked properly. I had the Special each time, which has multiple meats, including tripe, meatballs, tendon, and two kinds of beef. I like the different textures and tastes but many don't like the texture of tripe and tendon. The place has been busy every time I've been there for dinner. Considering they recently opened, it is a testament to the good food. They have other stir fry items on the menu. My son ordered a chicken dish, more Chinese style, but still good. I was helpful to have more options on the menu. The spring rolls and Vietnamese Egg Rolls are taste. The chicken wings are just ok. One thing that I highly recommend is the Vietnamese Coffee. I like it iced and hot, though I've had it iced here every time. If you like creamy, sweet, yet highly flavored coffee, you will love this stuff. One thing missing from the menu is bubble tea. I would order that as an alternative to the coffee once and awhile. The place is not huge. Maybe 12 to 15 tables most of the 4 tops that can be pushed together for larger groups. The decor is clean and modern, not fancy. The service is usually speedy, though it depends how many tables have seated at the same time. Being a small place, they can be overwhelmed if 4 or 5 tables come in close together. The staff work well together and there is a lot of teamwork happening to keep things moving. I really like having another decent Pho place in the neighborhood. If you haven't tried Pho, you should give it a shot. If you want to have good Pho without driving into St. Paul, this is a great choice. read more

The Special Pho, or the Pho Dac Biet, this costs a whopping $9.50 - a disgraceful amount of money compared to the pho in the Twin Cities and other suburban restaurants. Anyway, being the self-proclaimed Pho Snob I am, I'm gonna save y'all the trip because this is not worth your money! Noodles: I couldn't see any noodles floating at the top - so, I knew that I was #robbed. But, they are perfectly cooked - no al dente shit! Portions: I was given a decent amount of noodles for when I'm "kinda hungry" but they skimp you on beef, meatballs, tripes, tendon, flank, onions and cilantro. Meatballs were stellar, but I had like three. Where are those little flabs of clear fat/tendon/marrow or whatever that goodness is?! I kept wanting more slices of beef. How am I supposed to GAINZ?! I wouldn't call this a Pho Dac Biet. Broth: kudos, the broth is tasty. This will cure your hangover or your broken heart. No, need for that extra hoisin or sriracha - you could totally go FULL VIET. I don't think they added very much MSG, so you're safe on that food coma! Overall: I wouldn't come back for the pho. It's way too expensive and not worth the money considering how little meat you receive. I gave two stars because of the lack of meat and the price. PROS: The egg rolls were really tasty, and reminded me of the ones my Vietnamese friend's mom makes. The chicken wings were great, too. They come with a small plate of buffalo sauce! The staff was friendly, the food came out quick, and the atmosphere was nice and clean. NEUTRAL: I thought the spring rolls and peanut sauce were just "OK". I also thought the pho was "so-so", and I don't consider myself very picky when it comes to pho. Maybe they need to add more MSG... (lol!) CONS: I was ultimately disappointed by the lack of beef in my bowl. I ordered the pho tai bo vien, and I think I only got about 3 slices of beef. Meatballs were comparable to every other place I've had them. *shrug* Slightly more pricey, but I don't really care about price if it means grabbing pho somewhere that's four minutes from my house. WORST PHO, WORST presentation and UN-FRESH ingredients I have EVER had, period. The noodles were pre-cook and dumped into the bowl, still in its pre-formed packaged shape. If you order the Pho to go, you know what I mean as in all the ingredients come in a little baggy, for you to "create" the Pho when you get home. On top of that, the BEEF was all shriveled up and also CLUMPED together in a ball of meat. I had to PEEL the meat apart from each other, just so I could try and enjoy a single piece at a time. Great prices! This is an unsuspecting restaurant in a strip mall in AV. The inside is clean and the staff are attentive. The menu has your typical Pho and other Vietnamese fare. The crab Rangoon was fantastic for an appetizer. I had Beef Pho and it was delicious. The meat wasn't amazing but tasted good and was well cooked. The broth was well seasoned and strong which I like. This place definitely is a good alternative to the rest of the food in downtown Apple Valley, but even though it tastes really good and the service is quick, you feel like they are trying to get every dollar out of you. Canned pop, small as hell appetizers and giant bowls of pho that are more broth than noodles or meat. If they just provided bigger portions and a soda fountain, this place would be waaaay better. Great atmosphere indoors and the waitresses and servers are nice, but I can't justify paying almost 40 for one bowl of pho that was mostly broth, and two appetizers and a can of coke. I ordered the spring rolls and the pot stickers and the seafood pho, thinking that due to the price, they might jazz it up a bit. Sorry but I am disappointed. This is my first time trying this place out, and I find they have lots of potential. The place looks pretty clean and organized.The food was fresh and presented well, and the food also arrived quite fast...quite impressed. The taste of the food was okay, but could have been better. The sweet fish sauce for the vermicelli salad was a bit plain. I think they need to make it more flavorful, maybe more salty and more sweet would make the sauce so much better to be added to an already bland noodles and salads. We attempted to dine in at IHOP for pancakes, however the line to get a table for 5 people was a 1-1.5 hour wait. So we decided to try something nearby. Pho Valley was near and so we jump to try it out. The service was wonderful and the waitress was courteous. Our food was delicious, I have to give it up to the chicken wings (spicy). We ordered 3 pho #13, Banh mi-love that they put the veggies on the side and allow us to add as preferred, and just like Pho it did not disappoint me. We will definitely come back when we are on the Apple Valley side of town. The only thing I would suggest for improvements on service is water refill. By the time I was half way done eating my pho my cup was empty. Thankfully my son didn't drink his water so I took his water. read more

We ordered Special Pho (Pho Dac Viet), Spicy noodle soup (Bun Bo Hue), Bun vermicelli plate (pork, egg roll, and meat ball), Lemon grass chicken, spring rolls, Viet coffee, and Tri Color drink (Che Ba Mau). Firstly, Service was fantastic. Water was always filled, used plates were cleared, and the server asked if we wanted to add more soup to the Pho. Soup refill makes for high marks. Soup was good and flavorful. Meat portions were reasonable. Spicy noodle soup was good and had shrimp paste and lemon grass flavor. No pork blood or pigs feet in the soup but that's not surprising because Apple Valley isn't ready for that. Lemon grass chicken was a little disappointing but not bad. I would have like for the chicken to be marinated in lemon grass or just have more lemon grass. Could be a little sweeter with more sugar and fish sauce. Verdict: I'd go back again. read more

This new restaurant opened in October, 2016. I don't like fushion foods and this place is as authentic Vietnamese as it can be. I came here for Pho because they specialize on this dish. It has other soup-based dishes like Bún Bò Hue which is all right. I and my gf started with a combo appetizer plate including 2 hot wings, 2 springrolls and 2 egg rolls. Their dip sauces are tasty and right on bar. The foods temperature is good. Hot wings and eggrolls came out hot and crispy. Spring rolls are chill as they are supposed to be. Their Pho soup tastes really good (little to no MSG), very fresh ingredients and about a right portion (A large bowl can be slightly smaller as compared to other Pho restaurants like Pho Ca Dao, iPho Saigòn, Pho 79, Pho Hoà or Pho at Quang's) but they didn't skim on the meats. Their foods presentation is very nice. Iced water has a slice of lemon on clean glasses. Everything seems to be clean and served on nice clean dishes that makes the foods taste better. We had some Chè for desserts for $2.95 each. Again, they made good desserts. The bill is about right again as compared to other Pho restaurants. All in all, I like this place very much. Their foods are authentic, using fresh ingredients and vegetables, nice presentation, and it's clean. Waitresses are polite and provide quick services. I see that I'll come back again. read more
