Super cute little spot right by the space needle. Came here because I was craving vermicelli and this place hit the spot. Super small Restaurant but it gets pretty packed around dinner time. Service was very quick and they were on top of it with seating, refills, food coming out and clearing up afterwards. I got the pork salad aka. Vermicelli bowl. I added a fried roll to it. At first glance didn't look like a lot of meat but this place compared to others is definitely not stingy when it comes to the pork. It had some fatty parts to it but I was actually good. The meat was tender and easy to chew. The noodles were a little different than what I usually have had before but the dish overall was still delicious! It's our favorite Pho place! It used to be located in a smaller location behind QFC but it has since moved. But the same great taste! We love all the Pho here - the broth is clear and flavorful and delicious. It's not too oily or bland like many others in the area are. It's not only the Pho that is great but everything else is too. The vermicelli with meat is a great option too - I love both the Grilled Pork and the short rib. They don't skimp on the meat and it's always cooked so well. The Fried Egg Rolls are tasty as well! What a wonderful culinary delight!!! We were greeted by a very friendly gentleman who was very pleasant and attentive. The restaurant is not large but does not feel small. The tables are smartly placed and a there is a soft infusion of relaxing music. The food: THE BEST PHO we have ever had and we go out once a month to new pho restaurants (no exaggeration). The Pho soup with was is a symphony of tastes, perfectly melded into a a superbly divine experience. We loved the Fresh Rolls and the peanut sauce. I have tried the chicken pho, shrimp pho, spring rolls and lemongrass chicken. With the exception of spring rolls everything else was just 5 stars worthy. I just felt the rolls pastry was bit overfried. The broth is just heavenly abd perfectly thiy sliced chicken continues to add flavor to the chicken pho. The same quality of cook of chicken continues to their lemongrass chicken. It is spixy, herby and tastes really punchy witbout being too spice heavy. I heard that this place had really good pho so I decided to check it out. There was definitely a lot of hit and misses that made it just average for me: 1) if you order takeout, there's only one size and it will cost you close to $16. That's probably one of the most expensive pho I ever purchased....the portion is just standard. Given this pandemic situation, take out is the only option so you have to pay the extra money to get takeout...not sure how I feel about that. 2) the broth was pretty flavorful. The brisket was very tender. The noodle clumped together at first but after, it soften and was ok, still a little mushy. Amazing fresh rolls, I get the combo with pork and shrimp and substitute peanut dipping sauce with the tangy dipping sauce. Absolutely delicious and fresh every time! Pho-reaaaaaal?!?!? Pho Viet Anh was a classic Vietnamese restaurant. Hit all the qualities of an established pho joint. This includes the ethnic Vietnamese decor, people, and the classic pho. I ordered the pho broth with beef and tripe. So solid. Broth was flavorful and the noodles was not too soggy, and had great consistency. This place had everything that you wanted in a pho meal. When it's cold outside, frosty enough to chill your bones, what's better than a steaming hot pho bowl? That thought crossed my mind as I drove past Pho Viet Anh, turned around one street later, and came back to check it out. It was very cold outside, so I needed this pho to warm me back up! I entered the small but cozy interior with a frenzied smile. Warm broth and noodles would soon warm up my soul! Yet I was starving and impatient, which would prove to be foolish. Color me surprised when the pork and chicken spring rolls came shockingly soon, and the pho bowl a few minutes after. Fast service! The egg rolls were as expected, satisfyingly crispy but also not particularly memorable. However, the pho bowl was delightful. I ordered a large steak pho, 1 of 21 available options (amazing and true - see this on my menu photo). As for broth, the choice out of 4 options was easy - spicy beef, of course! Lastly, I ordered a Large bowl (you also also order Small or Take-out size). I was enamored as the big beautiful bowl hit the table. The broth was indeed spicy, with a plentiful amount of red chili flowing throughout. The broth was also hearty and rich, and tasted delightful. Barely hiding under the surface was one of the largest beef portions I'd ever had in a pho bowl. Lying under that were a huge portion of rice noodles. Adding in portions of bean sprouts, jalapeños, and sauce made the bowl uniquely mine. This was one of the tastiest pho servings I've ever had, prompting this review. A return trip is needed to try more menu items and test the variety of their offerings. But on a frigid Seattle day, this Vietnamese soup kitchen served up a wonderful cure for the cold. This was a great spot in Seattle that's close to a lot of main attractions. The service was extremely quick and the quality was wonderful. We enjoyed the Chicken Pho, Steak pho, shrimp spring rolls, and the traditional wings. The pho noodles were cooked wonderfully and the broth had a great flavor. My first night in Seattle, after an eight hour flight. I was tired and didn't want to wonder too far away from my hotel, when I came across this gem of find. This restaurant has beautifully located just around the corner from the Seattle space needle, and right outside the #3 /#4 bus stop that takes you into Downtown. The service is wonderful, with great, friendly staff that provide a warm welcome feel. When I stepped in, I was greeted and offer a large table because all the other smaller tables were occupied. I felt bad and told them that I would be more than happy wait till a smaller table finished up. My server said that it would be fine and to just go ahead and sit at the larger table. The menu options looked amazing and although, this place is known for the pho noodles. I had my heart set on either the grilled lemongrass, pork chop, or the short ribs. In the end, my server told me that I could not go wrong with the short ribs. I had my heart set on enjoying this meal with a beer, but unfortunately, this location does not have a liquor license. However, the server was kind enough to recommend the Vietnamese lemon Ice Tea. The meal great. The Short ribs exploded with flavor and was very soft and tender. The in house fish sauce was amazing, with a good combination of salty, and sweet. The Lemon Ice Tea was a little too sweet for my taste, especially with the meal being sweet as well, but all in all, it was a very good meal, where I didn't have to go very far from my hotel to enjoy. read more

It's my first time visiting Seattle. My kids, nephew, and I wanted to check out this Pho restaurant that had good reviews. The place is small but busy. The waitress who served us seemed like she was in a hurry. Each of us ordered our own dish about 5 minutes after we ordered. She brought out 2 bowls of steak and meatball pho when I was the only one that ordered it. My son even said my mom ordered it but not 2. He didn't want to cause any problems, so he took it. My son was starting to eat but slowly waited for his dish. So 9 mins later, the food was still not out. I mean, the food they've ordered it doesn't take that long to prepare. My nephew stopped the manager/owner to check on their order. Cathy is her name. She's very kind and checked on the order less than 5 mins. They got their food. Cathy credited one bowl of Pho! This is what I call knowing how to do well with customers. I plan to give one star, but since Cathy did us a favor and it's not about money, it's about customer service, that's what I'm looking for! We stopped here on a crisp late afternoon. The restaurant is within walking distance from the space needle and was packed at 2 pm which I saw as a great sign. We were seated right away by the friendly staff. I ordered the lemongrass and onion pork with rice and my aunt ordered the pho with flank steak and fatty pieces. I didn't try the pho but my aunt said it was really good. I can say that the bowl was very large and came with plenty of noodles, meat and the fixings. The lemongrass pork was delicious. This was very busy for a Sunday night which I'm happy to see. It's great to see that businesses are getting customers. It also helps to have more comfort foods in Belltown as the city buckles down for the winter. The shrimp rolls were tasty and fragrant. The peanut sauce was spectacular. I also thoroughly enjoyed the Thai iced tea and the combo pho. My partner had the shrimp pho and unfortunately, this wasn't great. The noodles were very soggy and there was very little broth by the end. It's likely that this was sitting around for a while and the noodles soaked up all the extra broth. The noodles were also sticking to the bottom of the bowl. We asked for some more broth since it ran out quickly but was told it would cost $4. Fine, I get it. Broth is the core of the dish so if it costs a bit more to enjoy the dish properly, well suck it up. We decided to head out soon so we asked if we could get it to go. When the broth arrived, we got the tiniest amount of broth possible. The plastic container contained about 2 cm of liquid and it was not even 1/4 full. I stared at the waitress incredulously and asked if that's all the broth they were giving us. She said yes, that's all we can give you. This pho restaurant looks like a house outside. Very small inside and the decor is very and colorful. This pho is perfect for Seattle cold weather. Food is amazingly good and the serving are huge. Got the combo pho and cold noodle grilled pork, I love it! The grilled pork are very tasty and soft. For that said, I can't wait to go back here and try other things on the menu. So the spring rolls were regular, nothing fantastic. I always like more herbs in mine, but if they don't have I add the basil from the pho bunch. I figured maybe it would be tasty and maybe herby but it was just plain crispy chicken not even salted. It had the Mae ploy sweet sauce on the side. That could have been much tastier. Legit pho place in Belltown area. I have tried other pho places nearby and by far this one was the best. I do have couple of places to try but I will say it was definitely better than some of the other places I already visited. Small table is good for a single as well as couples.
