The food was so good I ordered delivery and the rare steak pho and I was expecting cooked steak but they did me even better and included a wrapped piece of thinly sliced raw steak so you can cook it how you like it (for me rare). We were visiting from California and we found this restaurant. The location was easy to find and, inside, there were plenty of customers. We ordered #58 (I think) - the combination. We rolled all of the ingredients in the rice paper - noodles, vegetables - and we dipped in the fish sauce. It was awesome. We finished everything and had such a good time we went back twice. I was so excited to eat it and when I got it all ready and took a bite, I noticed the broth was extremely watered down tasting and the noodles just didn't taste right compared to other chicken pho we've had. Owners are cheap. I ordered take out and they would not even give me a small condiment container for some chili sauce. Said I had to buy it. Really. This is the same chili sauce they have on the table. There also is a young man who works here that has an attitude and isn't so nice. read more

We had #11 lemongrass chicken/beef bahn mi and #29 bun bo hue. Definitely coming back to have the bahn mi. The bread was perfectly baked (crispy on outside, fluffy on inside) and there was plenty meat and pickled veggies. The bun bo hue was very filling, flavorful and also had plenty meat/toppings, but will probably try the pho next time instead. This place has very good bun bo hue, the soup is very flavorful with lots of lemon grass! The hot stone pho came with a lot of meat and the hot stone looked very nice while keeping the soup warm. Our typical Pho place closes at 2pm so we needed a place that we didn't need to drive far for. After browsing through Yelp, I decided to chance it and give Pho Vietnam a try. Ratings on Yelp these past couple years have been total BS (like people rating it 5 stars when it's suppose to be only 1!) Came here the first time on a weeknight and to my surprised it was pretty busy with parties of 4 or more. I decided to get the Spicy Beef Soup and Salty Lemonade and the other half got Beef Pho combination. We got our order in less than 10 mins, piping hot and freshly made. Fresh veggies, great quality meats. The food is flavorful and what you would expect from quality pho. Price is decent for the quantity and quality that you get. It's not cheap but it's still affordable compared to places like Zippy's! No fancy frills! Everyone's friendly and very courteous. If they seem occupied or busy just smile and raise your hand for someone's attention. Obviously this place is too busy for someone to stand around and literally wait for patrons to come in and approach you the first step you take in this place. Today's Sunday, Memorial Day weekend , they are busy but 3ft into walking into here to place a take out order, I was already greeted and got my order taken. Sometimes their staff are a bit inattentive to customers (forgetting utensils, water, etc.) but it's minimal. The staff are usually very nice (and talkative if you're Vietnamese in a good way). Tried this new place with my Vietnamese friend. Service is friendly and the menu is extensive. We had the summer roll to start. Nice and fresh but a little bit too much noodle in the roll. We shared the beef pho with meatball and tripe and the hot bowl was a nice touch. The serving was huge and we were so full. The broth was delicious and authentic. I also got the salmon. Located in chinatown, I got their rare steak and beef ball pho. I've always heard of this place but finally got to go! I got the sizzling bowl of pho and your broth comes boiling! It really makes a difference in eating because once it cools down I tend to get over eating the pho. Since the bowl kept it hot I could enjoy it longer. The broth is nice and clean. I usually keep my hoisin and chili sauce on the side to dip the meat to keep the broth neat. Meat was good and the beef balls had a concentrated beef flavor. Came with a ton of veggies and noodles. Definitely a hefty serving! Note to add it was hot after eating the pho, the air conditioner isn't very strong. Since it is in chinatown there may be a few homeless people as well but cannot help.
