This place is a downtown Pomona staple! Everything I've ate from here has been nothing less than delicious. Today I ordered to go and as I sat inside waiting for my food the server brought me complimentary water which was a kind gesture. It's a corner location and has a patio. The staff is very kind and goes above and beyond.

This place was an absolute delight! On a roadtrip back to Arizona and we decided we wanted Vietnamese food last minute. Originally was just gonna get take out but when we walked in the place was so inviting we just had to sit down and eat. My friend and I shared the shrimp spring rolls which were refreshing and I ate the pork bahn mi(95) while my friend got pho(12). Both were amazing! You can see my excitement from the photos. All the food was top tier!!

Very tasty pho and fresh herbs to go along with it. The broth was fragrant, unique and had a little sweetness to it. The egg rolls were very authentic and longer than in size than other pho places, which I liked. The restaurant is a no frills place in the central part of Pomona near the Fox Theater Pomona. There was an event at the theater that evening, so parking was hard to find. Luckily, if you go a few blocks down near the Pomona Holy Church, there was street parking. The service was fine, but not overly friendly.

Best pho place in town. Authentic and looks like it's family owned. Great prices, clean, plenty of space. It's been here for a long time so you know it's good.

everything ur looking for in a local, no frills pho place!! pho vina's located on a pretty unsuspecting corner in downtown pomona. i've passed by it a few times while walking around the area, but never felt the need to try it until today. the familiar aroma of broth compelled me to go in and i (a local passerby sat on the street corner) had no choice but to oblige. once in, the place felt pretty quiet and secluded and it took a little while for us to get the attention of someone and get seated (all good signs). we got our menus and then were promptly asked for our orders just a few minutes after, which i definitely appreciated. to reiterate, i liked the mutual understanding that we're at a pho place, naturally we're gonna order pho. it just makes things so much more efficient. this too paid off because we got our food mere minutes after!!!! at $13.95 this is some great pho, it's not the best i've ever had but it knows that and it's not trying to be. the table went silent aside from the occasional slurps of broth and clanks of silverware. our total also came out to less than $20 a person with tip!! i will absolutely be coming back again when i get the craving.

Menu is old-school, with nothing really creative on it. Got 3 dishes and they were all over the map: a one-star dish (BBQ pork and chicken, with a bad red sauce from a bottle and fatty meat); a three-star dish (fried tofu vermicelli); and a surprising five-star dish (vegan pho, with tofu, noodles, broccoli, and a wonderful broth). Service was matter-of-fact at best, but the noodles were all fresh and non-clumped, so overall, this is a solid three-star place, and you can do well here if you order strategically. read more

Let's just say I won't be back to this establishment. From the non existent service to the food it's just not worth it. There's plenty of other places within the area to go to choose from. First, I ordered the shrimp and pork spring rolls and once received I was like hmm there's no pork.. and then the man said they ran out (ok I get that it was 40 mins before closing but if there wasn't a key ingredient in the dish wouldn't you let the customer know?). Second, we asked for some Togo boxes and the check and the man went outside and then came back on his phone playing ringtone chimes and then brought us our boxes after we mentioned it again. Third, when they brought us the check they charged us for items that we didn't even order... throughout the whole meal no one bothered to check on us and the food was definitely lacking ingredients. read more

Lady who took the order is very grumpy and rude. When I picked up to go order, I wanted to make sure forks are in the bag coz we are sitting next door at the brewery With her grumpy face, she told me it's inside the bag. I always have try to avoid new pho places because I'm forever loyal to the one back where I live, but I came here for a concert and have been Mexican fooded out. This pho place is realllyyyy good though! Broth is flavorful and the noodles are probably better quality than the the pho place I usually go to. They also have an extensive menu which is nice. read more

Not crazy about the service...but honestly the food was pretty bomb. Especially the filet pho/ soup (sorry forgot what it's called on the menu) but it was delicious I really want to reorder it again today haha but yea I didn't like the guy tending the front. He has kind of a rude attitude like trying to get me to hurry up even though the place was empty. read more

I decided to try a new place in downtown Pomona that I always walk by. I was almost immediately seated and was quickly able to order my appetizer and entrée. The restaurant wasn't too busy so I quickly got my spring rolls and before I even finished those I already had my entrée waiting for me. They were probably the biggest Bengals I've ever had at a restaurant, and the Korean beef and the entrée was tasty, but a bit tough. New ownership! Beautifully remodeled. The chicken broth pho was delicious. The veggies were fresh, the noodles were perfect, & the meat was tasty! The staff was very friendly, attentive, & polite. Who would have thought of a hidden Viet gem in the center of downtown Pomona? Come here for lunch frequently for the $5.00 pork banh mi. Don't judge a book by its cover because this sandwich is real tasty and a bargain. The bread is surprising crunchy, but soft on the inside that doesn't leave your palate all scratched up. Pork is tender and flavorful. Topped off with pickled veges and a kick from the jalepeno. Iced coffee is hit or miss. Some days it is great, but some days the servers think condensed milk is cheap or something and it is way too sweet. It is always a surprise, but I do know that you will always get yourself a solid quick lunch here. read more

This is my first time here but I am familiar with this place as it's been in DTP a long time. I decided to try it just because I've been in a pho craze the last month. I been to at least 6 different pho places throughout the I.E. This is the worst one by far. Here is why I gave this place two stars instead of one. First: I received service immediately, probably because it's 3 in the afternoon. I got my bowl of Pho pretty fast too. Second: The bowl is relatively inexpensive compared to other locations. (About $2 cheaper) I guess that explains the bland taste in the beef broth and 1 oz of "steak." read more

Nothing surprising. If you eat in, it tastes better than taking it to go. The first impression , food was genuinely good and in large portions for its price, service was lacking due to the fact that the cashier is the server. Was not checked up on until called over for a refill on water. 2 no time going was completely disgusting, they were fruit flies all over the food and in the restaurant. Cashier was trying to swat them away from the food and picking fruit flies out of the bag. After that. NOT COMING AGAIN read more

Went here because it was convenient to the Glass House before a show. I eat in Vietnamese restaurants about twice a week, and I think this must be the worst place I've been to, ever. My partner ordered the veg pho, which was oddly very, very sweet. I ordered grilled pork and grilled shrimp paste on vermicelli, but got something completely different, then was given grilled pork with shrimp - close enough. Pork tasted like it had been candied in sugar and star anise. Bathrooms were filthy, restaurant didn't look too clean itself. Staff were nice. read more

It is only an okay place for pho... beef is a little over cooked, the soup is not too rich, the price is regular pho places price so I can say they are competitive... the extra star is for the environment, a nice place in the Pomona old town area, quiet and historic. read more

Quick service! I appreciate the rapid service bc I usually come here at lunch.. I only get an hour and it's more than enough to eat, linger, and head back. They have seafood pho! Perfect.. a huge bowl of noodles and seafood.. yum! The broth is so tasty too! The beef sandwich sounds sooooo good and the photo looks tasty, but no meat for me. Please, someone, try it and let me know how good it is. The shrimp spring rolls are delicious! It's served with warm peanut sauce.. I mixed it with srirach & it's amazing. 1 order is enough to fill me up all day, they are pretty big & packed with delicious flavor. Enjoy! read more

Let me just say, my experience was horrible. Upon I arrival I was not greeted. Instead I stood there until someone acknowledged me and when the waitress did, she looked like she was pissed. All she did was point me to a table. After she handed me the menu, she just walked away. Came back in a minute to see if I was ready, um I just got the menu but ok can I start with a shrimp spring roll. Now I am a spring roll fanatic, she came back out in 1 minute after I had placed an order for the rolls! I looked at the house and it looked like it's been sitting there for a while because there was a brown crust laying nicely on the edge top of the bowl. See picture for detail. I took my first bite, AND IT WAS HARD! what the?! How long has it been sitting out! And dude all your doors are wide open so flies are guaranteed to fly in and sit on my rolls! Disgusted as I was imaging the legs of the flies that touches random feces and laying eggs that then turns into maggots, I can no longer finish it. I also ordered the bun thit nuong Cha going, which is the grilled pork and egg roll vermicelli. At first glance, the pork looked oily as heck. Like it was fried with the eggroll. Grilled pork should be grilled and it did not look or taste like it was grilled at all. I then poured the fish sauce into my bowl and I don't want to brag, but my mom makes the perfect fish sauce, the right amount of vinegar, sugar and salty fish sauce. In my opinion, their sauce was too salty and had very little vinegar. Their pork was too sweet and the eggroll we're perfectly crispy as they should be. The best thing that I ate was the eggroll... Which is sad because how can anyone mess that up. I am glad I don't live around here and this my only go to Vietnamese restaurant because I will drive 20 miles to San Gabriel to get better pho. I will not be coming back. read more

Prime spot in the Pomona Art district. It's hard to go wrong with Pho and they didn't disappoint. Nice eating area and clean setup. Good tunes and good food on a beautiful day. It's a shame they don't stay open late to feed the hungry drunks coming out of the clubs. Maybe they don't want to deal with drunks. I don't blame them. Pics attached. read more

Me and my friends went to come here for our last day of school, really good! We all shared from three different orders and we got so full with the pho we took some of the shrimp fried rice and broken rice home! This place is clean and really cute. The people here are fabulous. They are so kind and helpful. Our food was delicious. My hubby had a shrimp soup and I had a veggie tofu soup. Both were delicious. We also tried some fried rice. Yummy You should come on down and give it a try! You'll love it. read more

My first time here and it was delicious! To top it off I live less than a mile away !! I had Shrimp Pho and shrimp and pork spring rolls my son had a chicken and steamed rice plate and shrimp spring rolls as well. We loved it all! Noodles had the perfect texture. You get all of the veggies and other toppings quite generously as well. I wouldn't go out of my way to go here, but for the times I visited it hit the spot.

Food came out quickly. Server was very friendly and attentive. Water glasses were never empty. Wait time was 15-18 minutes via the Yelp waitlist, but we were seated within 5 minutes, so that was great. Because I was starving after a long day of traveling home. It was a little noisy in the restaurant but wasn't too loud, we could still talk and hear each other without yelling. Definitely would come back again!

Thankfully, when I brought it up, they fixed it quickly and apologized right away, which I appreciated a lot. I still love this place, but I do think it's important for people with allergies or food restrictions to double check their food before eating, just to be safe. Besides that, everything else has been amazing. The restaurant has a really calm atmosphere with lots of greenery and that open, cozy Vietnamese restaurant feel. The workers are also really kind and welcoming every time I come in. I also appreciate how authentic this place feels. Whenever I'm trying food from another culture, I always want something that feels genuine, and this place definitely gives me that experience. I come here a couple times a month now, and it's honestly one of my favorite places to eat. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the cucumber issue, but overall the food and experience are still amazing.

The $45 menu is extensive, featuring a wide variety of Vietnamese dishes such as escargot (ốc), pho, and bò né (Vietnamese sizzling beef steak), among many others. We ordered escargot with tamarind sauce, oysters with cheese, a lobster special, rau muống (water spinach) with garlic, glass noodles, and a ribeye steak. This isn't a typical buffet--each dish is cooked to order. It took about 15 minutes since there were only two chefs, but the wait was absolutely worth it. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and served piping hot. The lobster was a whole lobster with claws, and the ribeye was a generous cut served sizzling at the table. The portions are large, and our server kindly warned us ahead of time--we're glad we listened! The owner was friendly, and the service was attentive throughout our meal. Fresh, fast, & soooooo good! This is the perfect place for lunch or dinner if you are in downtown P-Town. I often get the cold vermicelli bowl with veggies & hot grilled shrimp. They have a beer & wine licence, so sometimes I enjoy an ice cold Saporro with my noodles. They also have fresh coconut, which is so refreshing. This place is located in a cool building. If you go to use the restroom, you will see a stunning mosaic of a peacock and grapevines in the courtyard. read more

Do not go to this restaurant. I went and there was a bug in my food. No one apologized, or even offered to reimburse for the order. I paid before receiving because it was a to-go order. Lesson learned. When they replaced the order, there were black pieces of burned product floating in my broth. Do not eat here. It is unsanitary and YOU WILL GET SICK. read more

In a nice area downtown. The large is LARGE and the meat quality of the pho is pretty good. The staff was pretty nice too. BUT the pho broth tasted like it was dunked in sugar. Why. If I wanted a sweet broth I'll just microwave a boba milk tea. The search for the best pho continues. read more
