Absolutely love Piadina! It's been a while since I've had it and it was just as good as I remembered, if not better. Needed a quick bite to eat and the Newport is everything I want in a sandwich: well-assembled, packed with delicious and savory flavors, quality ingredients, all wrapped in delicious textured flatbread that's been cooked on a griddle. Although the piadinas don't look large, I've always found them to be filling and have trouble eating the entire thing in one sitting unless I'm super hungry. So I would say they are not huge portions but extremely satisfying to eat. Service is friendly and efficient and ambiance is casual - a great spot to stop by if you need something fast and delicious. So happy we have one in the neighborhood!

Great place to get Italian flatbread! Their piadina is always made fresh to order. I got the Piemonte which is my go to order. Due to the truffle aioli, it has a steong flavor kick so if you're not a fan of truffle, you can try their Austin one which comes with garlic aioli instead and avocados to balance out the brisket flavor. The flatbread is nice and crispy on the outside and a soft chew texture. They also give a good amount of meat and sauce so it just blends so well! The staff here are friendly and very open to explain their menu to you if it's your first time. They also do have a rewards app, which you can accumulate points between this store and their sister store Sole Toscano in Irvine, but you can only redeem points when you order through their app, just a heads up! Between this store and their sister store, the piadinas here are much better!

Great place for some good quick bites! They have Italian sandwiches, salads, and pizzas. Aesthetic & Ambiance: 7/10 it's mainly a walk up and order, but you can also see your food and ingredients further down. The décor is minimal and the vibe is more fast casual with a handful of seating inside but plenty outside. Service: 8/10 quick and friendly, and made sure I got my food outside. The Irvine Sandwich: 8/10 the soppressata has a little spicy bite, but the pesto evens it out with a great herb taste. The bread is also great, very thin, and crispy.

Cheap on portions with piadizza & salad. Low class service to be all money. Employees lack to be customer friendly. Felt discriminated to come here on ordering & feels more like a modern Starbucks vibe. Stay away for sure honestly.

I ordered a custom/build your own sandwich with Italian cooked ham and they only put one single slice onto the entire sandwich. Barely any tomatoes and the pesto was just one big blob. I ordered through DoorDash which is why I couldn't see them make it. Very disappointing.

Deliciousness, love the crisp and softness at the same time of this flatbread filled with veggies!

Absolutely love their vegetariana flat bread sandwich here. Deliciousness in a sandwich! I love the crisp and softness at the same time along with the variety of veggies it comes with. Service was fast and friendly. I hope this place stays in business for a long time. Such a fantastic quick snack/meal!

I was looking to buy sandwiches for a party of 3, and I initially went to Which Wich which was next door. I was overwhelmed with customizing 3 sandwiches and wanted something pre-made, so I left that store and decided to check out Piadina! I was very content with the various Italian sandwiches offered on their menu. I ordered the Parma (pictured), Reggio, and Genova. The Reggio had the most spice, but all 3 entrees were straightforward and delicious! The service was quick and the employees were all very kind. For a unique cultural twist on sandwiches, check out Piadina at the Marketplace!

I've been coming to this place for over 5 years now and it never disappoints! I always get the California and substitute the tomatoes for sun dried tomatoes. I highly suggest you try this! I am incredibly picky when it comes to my pesto and I dream about this pesto! Everything about this sandwich is perfection. The sandwich is always done to perfection and staff is always nice. The place is always clean! I love coming here. I'm a customer for life!

Solid Italian sandwich that's a great option to stop by for a healthy and delicious lunch. Located in the Tustin side of the Marketplace there's plenty of parking. The workers were pleasant and offered suggestions for first time eaters which is always appreciated. My sandwich was great, I especially loved the bread as it was crispy and the prosciutto was great.

    Tricolore Piadizza (super yummy!)

I love the sister eatery, Sole Toscano, by the same owner and am super happy that Piadina is closeby to my workplace and the GrubHub delivery went very smoothly. The tricolore piadizza was exactly what I wanted it to be: very light and low-calorie with ultra-premium ingredients straight from Italy. I can really taste the difference in quality in the mozzarella cheese and the pesto is very smooth and clean. The tomatoes were nice and fresh too. Piadina's menu items are so awesome because they are incredibly tasty but I can eat most of their items even as I am on a very restricted diet due to the quality and lightness. I'm planning to get Piadina once a week via GrubHub from my workplace, and every other weekday will be my restricted diet lunch. Very reliable, even for deliveries, so I'm very happy!

It was my first time at Piadina, and it was such a great experience. I asked for a recommendation for a spicy sandwich, and the woman at the front was incredibly helpful. She suggested a few options and even allowed me to customize it. The sandwich turned out to be amazing, spicy and fresh! I'll definitely be back next time I'm in town. Highly recommend!

I recommend the pizzas here. I also love the sandwiches that remind me of calzones. Get the pepperoni pizza at lunch time and the hard to find speciality chips. Big helpings, healthy and delicious, and good value!

They make their bread fresh! Way better than subway where the bread's just sitting there.

Writing this nine years later, tried piadina when i was a senior in highschool and now I'm a Full fledged adult with a job haha! Wow piadina is such a gem, their sandwiches are absolutely delicious, crunchy and fresh. But to expand on my previous review, I want to talk about their sandwich specials, specifically the Piamonte sandwich. If you are hungry, ravenous for something fulfilling but light and tasty and meaty, more so than a sub sandwich, this is IT. Dunno how the staff made made such a magical combo, but I also recommended this specific sandwich to my friends and it is LIFE CHANGING: brisket, truffle aioli, onion, arugula. One note: its on their special menu you have to walk in or call to order, but it's worth it...I'm sad I finished it all before taking a picture. Really hope they have it on the menu for awhile, as I plan to come back to savor it again! Thank you Piadina!

Hi Marco, is there any info available on nutrition/calories intake for the menu at your restaurant (particularly the Piadina sandwich)? I see there was a similar question asked 8 months ago, and the team was working to post it on their website?

At the very least, these piadina sandwiches are about as healthy as sandwiches will ever get!

Do you have a menu that reflects the calorie intake for each food item?

Hello Martha, at this time we don't have the calories count for our sandwiches and salads. We are working on it and we should have an updated menu with this information in a few weeks. Regards.

I recently visited and noticed the dough is different. Did they change the recipe? Its not as good in my opinion.

    Hey Marco...moglie gluten free...la fate?

Didn't they used to make pie? Do they plan to do that again? I remember them being so good!

Dear Behraam, if you refer to our crostata (Italian style pie with fruit jam or Nutella), we still make it every day. We just switched from selling it by the slide to single serving crostata. We call it personal crostata.…

Definitely a place to go for good quality Italian ingredients to cook at home. As for the Pizza place, we got 2 types of sandwiches and lasagna. The Italian sandwich was just okey, the bread was not quite a right type for it. Just chewy outside and abit blanch of the filling. The meatballs sandwich is quite delightful, good amount of sauce and big meatball and go nicely with the sandwich. The lasagna was good but abit under seasoning, abit watering and it could used more meats. Overall it was okey place for a quick bites and easy to take away. Parking can be hectic and abit out of control since folks don't know what to do since people coming in and block cars that need to go out...another word. It's a small parking lot for In&Out. It was easy when I got there at 10:30am and the parking lot was pretty much empty (since market open early then their pizza side). When leave I have to wait for 5mins in order to get the car out since there are cars waiting right infront of my car and there are car infront and behind. There is a parking lot right across and street parking too, and I think it would be much easier then park in their lot during their busy times.

Fritzankotters in Huntington Beach got mentioned, so my wife, our neighbor, and I decided to come down for lunch at the deli, and then spent the afternoon at nearby Sunset Beach. It ended up being a good day at lunch and a great afternoon. The restaurant is located in an older strip mall, near the corner of Warner and Springdale. The mall had a lot of surface, uncovered spots, so parking wasn't a problem around lunch time. One orders and pays at the counter, and the sandwiches are brought out to you when dining in. The menu consists of both cold and hot sandwiches. There is a self serve ice water jug, along with a self-serve pickles (sliced kosher dills) and peppers (both pepperoncini and cascabella). It's a really nice touch and we took advantage. One thing that made me do a double take was the offer of $3 anytime pints of the house lager on tap. It was confirmed by the owner that it was correct, and each of us got a glass. Clover is the payment system used here, and was able to get a text with the bill. It took a bit of time for the sandwiches to come out. Our friend and I split two hot sandwiches. First being a Mock Ruben ($12.50) consisting of Corned beef, swiss, sauerkraut, and mustard on rye. I thought it was good, with a nice meld of flavors and well grilled/toasted bread (not a strong rye). Friend thought it was dry. We both agreed my sandwich was much better, Cousin Eddie ($14.25) consisting of pastrami, swiss, deli mustard, 1000 island, and pickled red cabbage. It came on a soft hoagie roll, and the flavors really melded together well. My wife got a Messi ($14.25), a roast beef with pepperjack with chimichurri and onions on ciabatta. Since my wife is not a fan of neither chimichurri and onions, I asked for it on the side, which was recorded that way on the bill. For some reason, a custom item charge of $0.75 was put on the bill (thinking it was for the side of chimichurri), and unfortunately there was chimichurri on the sandwich which my wife gamely tried to pick off. None of the sandwiches were large, nor were any of them stacked with that much meat. In fact I was able to eat half of each of the sandwiches, but for the price, I thought it was very reasonable. The pickle and pepper bar is a great idea, letting anybody add some zing to any sandwich. The service was friendly, as the owner genuinely seemed to care what we thought (though my wife didn't feel like complaining about the chimichurri). And the pints of the house blonde on tap was a bargain. They seem to have a pizza night on Thursday, and the beer would absolutely hit the spot then.

He said in a rude voice well it was in your items and I'm just scanning. The lady said again its not mind, then he said relax I can unscan it. Then he goes and unscan tje item and throws it on tje otherside where there was no cashier. He could have just laid it down, I mean its going to be somebody food. Then to top it off after he finish wot the lady she was trying to pay wotj a debt card he had no patience for her. He looked very frustrated like hurry up lady I dont have time for this. Another time I dealt with him he was just throwing my items in the bag and didnt care if it got smashed or bruised, etc. I had tomato, avocados, bananas, meats and bread.
