Hidden in the back of a liquor store is this unassuming empanada shop. I ordered the spicy beef, nortena (filled with potatoes), and spinach ricotta. They were $3 each, which was a great price. Each empanada was stuffed with delicious fillings. My favorite was definitely the spicy beef since it had so much flavor. I also enjoyed the spicy chimmichuri sauce they came with. Overall, a hidden gem!

Bomb!! Located inside a liquor store so it's kinda hard to find. I asked which were the most popular and tried the spinach and ricotta, spicy beef, and nortena which was potatoes inside! they're fully stuffed and soo warm and delicious especially with their chimichurri sauce which I wish they gave more of! I got 3 for just under $10.

Argentinian flag blessed this place throughout.

Oh, and they got pizza too??? Stop it. You are kidding me right now. There must have been a lot of Italians that ended up in Argentina because this is some good pizza. Heavy on the oils and cheese. I come from an Italian family. SO

Craving spicy beef empanadas, still delicious . They're always fresh and perfectly toasty. Excellent service too.

Love these hole in the wall places, or hidden gems. My first time here had the Choripan Sandwich, was excellent

The best empanada was the pineapple and cheese. Though that sounds like a weird combo, trust that it was strangely delicious. That is, if you like pineapple and if you like cheese. I wanted to love the other flavors but sadly, I've had my fill of empanadas and this spot, inside of the liquor store, is a bit odd .

Very delicious !! Authentic Argentinian empanadas and alfajores! The restaurant is just hidden in a liquor store.

Truly authentic Argentinian empanadas. The place is hidden inside a licor store, the place looks extra clean which I like. The lady that gave me my food was probably the owner and she reminded me that is I place my order directly with her, the food is a little cheaper. The empanada were so good, sorry, didn't take a picture because we ate them so fast.

Thanks to fellow Yelpers, I found this out of the way place that just happens to be fantastic. Don't be deterred by its back of a liquor store location. Heritage House Liquor which has been around as long as I remember. It's one of the old school Tustin places that make Tustin Tustin - not you, Tustin Ranch. I doubt you will find better empanadas anywhere, and they serve quite a variety of them. They serve also sandwiches and pizza, both of which I intend to try based on my experience with the empanadas. There are a few small tables if you want to eat there, but It's mostly take out. My empanadas traveled well on the 15 minute drive home. For my first time, I chose the beef empanadas served, of course, with house made chimichurri sauce. Three of them at $3.00 each were plenty to fill me up. The service is very friendly. Be sure to tip. It's a good place all the way around.

Chewy was our pleasant waiter, very friendly and attentive. Fresh cold water when we sat down and a nice short easy menu to peruse and decide from. No frills, no uneasy decisions. Simple greatness is all that's needed. I'm guessing every table gets the Caesar salad, which was a botttomless pile of fresh lettuce, tons of delicately grated smoothe Parmesan cheese, delicate crumbles of breadcrumbs, with an absolutely decadent Caesar dressing - pleasantly spread throughout the whole entire plate of goodness. Next time I will try the fresh loaf of bread sliced thick with a bowl of cherry tomatoes. Whoa that looked great. Every plate that walked by us whispered 'try me' next time!! Saved the salami Calabrese pizza for home directions on the box which provided the most perfect texture for a reheated pizza we've ever had. Delightful! The pizza. The crust. I can't even believe a whole table while we were eating there skipped the crust of the whole pie. You can't! That's a sin! Greatest sourdough pizza, dare I say delicate but hearty? Perfectly crisp yet soft where it's necessary. I can't wait to try more flavors. Such an adorable place at 'the Camp' -quaint yet plenty of seating outside too for a larger party. The wings are definitely a flavor bomb, but I wouldn't order them again. Personally, a bit too salty. Finished off with the "burnt" cheesecake. (They really love burning things here.). It's often hard for people to agree on whether one is good, bad, or great. I had several guests come over so I ordered large pepperoni pizza with green bell peppers and onions. What I love most about this place is how unique the flavors are. You get all these bold, aromatic curry spices and creative toppings -- but it's still grounded in the comfort of pizza. And honestly, who doesn't like pizza? It's the perfect balance. Adventurous, but not intimidating. Lets talk about the pizza, when done right, is basically a full meal. One slice has carbs (the crust), protein (chicken or other toppings), veggies, and dairy -- it checks all the boxes on the food pyramid. At Curry Pizza, those ingredients are layered in a way that feels both satisfying and surprisingly balanced. In a way, it satisfies your craving and your daily calorie intake in one go. It's indulgent but doesn't feel heavy or regretful afterward. If you're tired of your usual pizza joint and want to spice up your routine -- especially if you're trying to "eat better" in the new year without giving up flavor -- this is your spot. You'd honestly be missing out not giving this place a try. I almost forgot to talk about the price point, which is the going rate for most pizza joints.
