Ordered two large pizzas for Father's Day. The one pizza was seriously undercooked. The dough was RAW in the middle and the cheese hadn't melted in some areas. Called and asked them to come take this one back and replace it with a new one. The manager said he would not do that because it was "impossible" that they sent us a raw pizza because they have a protocol that they follow. I was in Hamburg for work and got a recommendation to try Picasso's because it's locally owned, nearby, and pizza. Sure, the first 2 things are great, but...pizza. End goal here. It had been a long day - I wanted to treat myself! - so I ordered 5 of their Italian baked wings and a 1/2 medium of one of their gourmet pizzas (Chicken on the Grass: chicken, onions, hot peppers, spinach, mozzarella). The texture on these chicken wings is insane. I would have assumed they were fried from how crispy they were, but they aren't greasy at all (and not as messy as your usual saucy wings). Additionally, the pizza was phenomenal - super cheesy, nice chew, lots of chicken, and spinach to make me feel better on pretending it's healthy! Additionally, these 1/2 medium pizzas are GIGANTIC. I was beyond stuffed after the 5 wings and half of the 1/2 medium - the pizzas go up to medium, large, and party, and I can only imagine how many people could be fed from a party pizza. Is there even a box large enough to accommodate the size of that thing? I didn't know this, but Picasso's has multiple locations over Western NY - so if Hamburg is a bit far out from where you are in Buffalo, then stop by the other joints as the menus looks to be more or less the same. My wife called to place a order at this location! It is our 40th anniversary and we are having a family gathering at our home this evening! Before we ordered I called and checked their delivery policy and was told they had a 5 mile delivery range and would deliver over 5 miles at a dollar a mile. We called back to order and were told then that the 4 miles extra to our location was to fare ! My friend suggested we go to Picasso's. First time there , we order large pizza and 25 wings plus 2 liter. Payed a whopping 65 dollars . Pizza was not good , crust was best part , sauce oozing everywhere cheese sliding right off and peppers weren't even cooked looked like someone jus tossed em on there . Wings were cold and disgusting , even the cups they gave was dirty . About 15 workers back there and can't none of them cook a proper pizza and wing. I just recently moved to blasdell and haven't tried many pizza places near by but I remember really enjoying thw location in union rd. So I ordered a medium cheese and pep. I asked if it was possible to have just a lottle extra cheese but not double cheese amd if they would charge me, the gentleman in the phone was extremely curtious and said there wouldnt be an extra charge. I got the free French fries with thw pizza, a coupon I found on their website. He said delivery would be about 45 minutes. But or truly felt like 25 minutes. This place has awful customer service. We called a day ahead for Christmas Eve hours and they told us they were taking orders until 5:30. We called at 5:00 to place our order and they told us they were done taking orders. Now we're scrambling!! The people on the phone are also always RUDE when we call there. Picked this place by chance for a delivery a couple of weeks ago. Wonderful find. The pizza was absolutely loaded with pepperoni and anchovies. Every sloppy bite was better than the previous. I go to Picasso's often and every time I do, it's always very good. The subs are delicious. They make very good sub rolls. I love that they have the "just say it" coupons. I don't know any other pizzeria in the area to have anything similar. I like to get a free sub when purchasing 2 or free fries when purchasing 1, pizza deals etc. Picasso's is delicious :) read more

I had the worst experience as a consumer with this Picasso's location. On Saturday I preordered 2 party sheet pizzas and 100 wings yesterday for delivery to a party on Sunday at 5pm. Today (Sunday) I called at 4pm to confirm delivery and was told by a nice girl that everything looked great and we will see our food at 5pm. At 5pm I was called by the delivery driver and he informed me that he would be at my house no earlier than 5:30pm. He said he had difficulty leaving the parking lot because of the Bill's game and the traffic on Southwestern was like a parking lot. He said there was nothing he could do but he was doing the best he could. I live 3.0 miles away from this Picassos. I then call the store and asked to speak to the manager. I explained I had 60 people at my house waiting on food and the late delivery was unacceptable. He said there was nothing he could do. We talked for a bit about how disappointing that service was and how I was surprised they could not anticipate traffic from the Bills game. I then said when the food arrived, if it was cold I would be calling the store back to complain and expect some sort of compensation because the food was not delivered as promised. This "manager's" response was that he would tell his delivery driver to turn around and go back to the store. He would tell his driver to go back to the store and then hung up on me!!! I was so surprised by the response I called the store back and asked to speak to the owner. I was then told the person I spoke to, "the manager" was also the owner. I was then left with a house full of 60 people at a three-year-old's birthday party, half of which were around the same age as my child and no food, because this Picasso's owner did not put the customer experience first. I even tried calling the delivery driver back but he sent both calls directly to voicemail. As a host of the party, there is nothing more embarrassing or stressful than not having food for your guests and when a pizza place cancels at the 13th hour you have no options. I would strongly encourage not purchasing from this Picasso location. They were not willing to work with me on a $139.00 pizza bill for what?! Worst dining experience ever. Unfortunate for them, an entire neighborhood that frequented their location will be going else where for their pizza. So disappointing... read more
