    Beautiful design

As I type this out, I literally just got my mocha here for the 1st time like a few minutes ago. Kim & Dasa made a good 1st impression & worth a review right now. Very friendly. I randomly chose this place as I was coming over to the Mission District for my work meeting. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Nice place!![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I'm glad I chose this place. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Definitely, a great place to stop by.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I'm hardly ever in the Mission district, but definitely will stop by here when I'm around again!!!

So glad this coffee shop was open today, was served immediately and really enjoyed my flat white. Would also come back to pick up some beans next time when I need to restock.

Iced oat milk coffee w/ rose cardamom syrup

I was influenced by tik tok to try and while it didn't knock my socks off it was still a pleasant experience! [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a small shop with really cool interior design.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Not a million things on the menu but you don't need a million things. They cover all the coffee basics (latte, espresso, iced coffee etc). I got the iced coffee with rose cardamom syrup and it was pleasant! The coffee was on the lighter side - didn't have the strong coffee roast flavor, but that could just be my preference. You'll get more rose in the syrup than cardamom which is fantastic if you're a rose person. I personally love trying new coffee shops and I'm glad I got to try this one! While I wouldn't make a long trip to grab a cup I would certainly get one if I was nearby again.

    Tootsie roll

Cool spot that serves some unique drinks. Coffee here is pretty good. I trod the tootsie roll because of how unique it was (lemon syrup and cold brew) but it was not for me. The latte however was quite good. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Small shop and not much seating if you are looking for a place to hang out.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

If you're looking for your new go-to coffee in the Mission, Grand Coffee should be your spot! [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a small cafe (limited seating, not a spot for WFH, very grab and go).[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] This is pulled from their website to tell their story: "Grand Coffee was founded by Nabeel Silmi in the post-recession days of 2010. In the decade since, Grand has become a gathering place for all in the community: immigrants, artists, abuelas, tech workers, service workers, queer folx, people who just moved to San Francisco, people who have spent their whole lives in San Francisco, and so many more". The coffee was amazing too! They sell beans by the bag as well. I got a latte with their brown sugar chai syrup which was phenomenal. This is such a fantastic business to support and I will be back with friends/fam!

The latte is very delicious and the foam on top is perfect. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There is a cute little bench outside that you can sit on.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

[[HIGHLIGHT]]This place is so fun and quirky. Half coffee shop, half art gallery.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The layout changes every time but there is outdoor and indoor seating (you can even sit at the coffee "bar").[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service is always quick and super friendly. The coffee is really good and you can get it to stay or to go. They have different drink specials each time that are pretty unique. Highly recommend stopping by if you're looking for a fun coffee place!

My husband and I were looking for a local coffee shop to support and we decided on this one! It was a very short walk from our apartment which was very convenient. It's a small space but very cozy and welcoming. I ordered a sweetened iced matcha latte with whole milk. Note that they do not have soy milk but they do have oat milk as an alternative. I'm not a matcha connoisseur but I enjoyed my latte. It had a nice subtly flavor and wasn't overly sweet. I love what this shop supports and represents and I hope to be back soon!

Decent mochas that are not super sweet which I appreciate. Cappuccinos are on the slightly bitter side which I like. Small hole in the wall coffee business. 3 seats available.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance of the store was cozy and enjoyable wished I had more time to hang out a great vibe.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Came by for coffee the other day and it was an excellent experience! Street parking is available. Staff behind the window didn't wear a mask and didn't wear gloves. The Grand Coffee stand is literally a hole-in-the-wall coffee shop next to a defunct movie theatre with window service only. (The interior of the coffee shop was closed). There was a bench in front of the window for those to sit down and enjoy their coffee. Ordered the mocha and it came out perfect! The foam was very thick. The latte art was excellent! The temperature was excellent and most importantly the chocolate wasn't too sweet! Ordered a pastry that was more like a cruffin and it was also excellent! Super light, lightly dusted in sugar and stuffed with red beans and taro! They do take credit cards!

Talk about a hole in the wall! The intoxicating smell of fresh roasted beans fills this small coffee shop located right on bustling Mission. Outfitted with hipsters sipping out of ceramic mugs, this trendy no frills roastery and cafe is a dream for all your caffeine needs on. Will definitely stop by again before a thrifting day soon. Their menu featured all the usual suspects, executed to perfection. These people know coffee!!!!!

They explained that the flight includes an espresso shot, espresso shot with milk, hot coffee, and iced coffee. I hadn't had a straight espresso shot before, so this wasn't for me personally just because it was so overpowering. I enjoyed the other three though. Like the majority of SF, parking is difficult to locate. I was dropped off nearby the location. There is indoor and outdoor seating; I was able to grab an empty spot late in the morning on a weekend, but I don't think seating is always readily available. It's not a huge space.

It seems like there's also an upstairs but did not get the chance to check it out. I got an iced latte with their almond macadamia milk, and they're also so nice to do complimentary cold brew! So we got an extra drink for free. Trying the iced latte, it was pretty disappointing lol. I thought it would be similar to like a Hawaiian style latte with macadamia milk, but it was a lot lighter than I thought. It was definitely very nutty, but it also just tasted like water down latte. Honestly not much going on with the drink, but it does taste lighter in general. Crazy have to pay $1.50 more to add on this milk. Overall, its alright. I do like the natural lighting coming into the shop, but nothing too special.

But Katsu is really becoming the new hype of the day for Japanese food, following the Sushi, Ramen, Japanese Curry, Katsu trend. So I came in with a critical view. I feel like Yoshoku in general may be next but I yet again digress. The box sandwich came in a cute little box. The inside was packed so I couldn't get a chance to fully appreciate the cafe, but the service was nice though the pay line may have moved slower than hoped. I'll say this. This is "the" best katsu sando in the bay. The katsu is crispy, but little on the softer side. But this hardness matches perfectly with the absolutely tender, soft, juicy pork wrapped inside. I'm looking at the menu again and it all makes sense. The pork has been in shio koji, making the meat ever so tender while adding the subtle but complicated marinated flavor. The cabbage is plenty, but not over packed to take away from the main Katsu flavor. What really perfects it for me, was not only the sweet and savory katsu sauce, but the mayo with dash of I think a karashi mustard. That slight tingle, the perfect kick gives a powerful awakening of flavor that really sets the it apart. This is art, an artisan. Culinary art is the refuge no raging rampant AI slop "art" can ever hope to touch. Until the day we get some cyborg implant to our brain into gustatory, olfactory functions. Even then, I don't think any tasteless tech bro are hopeless to create anything unique or beautiful.

My friend and I sat at the counter basically in a staring contest with the woman behind the counter, who just stared right back. After some 30 seconds, we finally flagging her down to place our order. After turning around the drinks suspiciously quickly, my friend and I sat down to catch-up in the empty cafe.
