Solid 5 stars for the food. This is not your average pizza joint. The food is restaurant quality. I used to go here often when I worked in the area 20 years ago and was happy to see it is still a top choice for gourmet pizza and Italian food. They haven't skipped a beat in 20 years, in fact they make even be better than I remember.

Chicken Parm Dinner I plate half so I'll have two meals.

My go-to for delicious, hearty Italian food. I've been ordering from here for over seven years. The pasta dishes are always fresh, and their sauces, especially the bolognese, are robust. They have a wide selection of everything, from appetizers and salads, to pasta, meats, and fish (and dessert, but I don't like sweets, so I can't speak to that). Each meal comes with tasty, fresh bread and a side salad, and I love that I can add ingredients like fresh mushrooms and basil. Attached is a photo of their chicken parm. dinner. It's well worth the price because of the quality ingredients and generous portions. I highly recommend Piccolo Trattoria!

Nothing beats a locally owned pizzeria! The number of slices they have available is incredible! Anything from plain cheese to a fully loaded slice! I got mushroom. The mushrooms are fresh not canned. The cheese pull is just right!

Jenet was so attentive and pleasant! Decorations were very well done. Food was very good. Will definitely visit this restaurant again!

A group of us celebrating the night before our 61st high school reunion had a wonderful dinner, complete with lots of amazing food and fun! Our waiters were attentive, and available to help with descriptions of menu options and offers of variations for us. We definitely will be back.

Nice Italian pizzaria restaurant in a strip mall near TCNJ college. Clean and bright with nice background Italian music and good service. Rustica appetizer -- cold antipasto with cold cuts, cheese, olives, and grilled vegetables was a nice start. This was followed by a pretty good pasta fagiole soup and Chilean sea bass special with mashed potatoes and broccoli rabe (overpriced special at $50 -- not a great surprise when receiving check as specials menu do not include prices). Finished off the meal with a homemade cannoli. One of my dinner companions had the tagliatelle with bolognese and he did not eat most of it -- he said it was just ok.

Piccolo's has the best sauce I've ever tasted and the service is always great whether it be delivery or in the actual dining room.

Looking for a light lunch today as the temperatures hovered in the mid 90's, we decided to give…read moreOsteria Procaccini a try. Upon entering the nicely cooled place, we were warmly greeted and promptly seated by a window adjacent to the wood fire oven. This was our first visit. The room is very lively. Thankful we were seated in the corner which helped with the acoustics. With the dining room mostly full at lunchtime, it was difficult to hear my bride on the other side of the table. We were in no hurry so overtime, the place thinned out a bit and the volume subsided. Could be a real issue on a busy night. Might try the bar room side next time. (Some decorative acoustic ceiling tiles would greatly reduce the noise.) There were menu additions as well as a limited but decent selection of value wines. We decided on the Shrimp Mango Avocado Tower and a Shrimp Caesar salad and a bottle of Villa Antinori. The Shrimp Mango Avocado salad is one of the best salads we have ever had. Really. Blueberry, strawberry, arugula, candied pecans, feta cheese topped with a limoncello dressing and aged balsamic with a few grilled shrimp. Was hoping for more shrimp, but the salad is very filling. The interplay of the various flavors was very tasty and the wine was a good paring. The Shrimp Caesar salad was also very good. I loved the anchovie and dijon forward flavors with just the right amount of garlic. The homemade croutons with just the right flavor and crunch. The pace was perfect. Server (manager?) was attentive but not overbearing. We had a nice relaxing and delicious light lunch. Exactly what we were looking for. We will definitely be back to try the pizza and some desserts.

I didn't want anything with alcohol, so i asked for a soda, she said they didn't have that either . The menu we were given had very few items on it that the menu on their website showed. So We ordered pizza. We were not impressed

The BEST dining experience we've had in a long time. We decided to come the day after Valentines as…read moreit was quiet. We often have odd dining experiences, from our first date 20 years ago to last month. This is my second time at Boro, my wife has been there a couple more times. What sets this restaurant apart is not just the food, but the service. Genuine smiles when we arrived and left. We were sat next to a couple with 4 kids. Not a big deal for us as we have two. The kids were great. As they were leaving, only 15 minutes after we sat, our server said they paid for our first round. It was such a nice gesture even though they were no problem to us. Ok, the food and drinks. I've been hooked on this cocktail recently, a Paper Plane. I asked if they could make it and they sure could. It requires one specific brand of Italian spirit so I was really impressed. My wife had a cool cosmo with white cranberry juice and elderflower liqueur. The reason I will come here for one thing and one thing only is their Crispy Chicken Appetizer. It's everything that you ever wanted sesame General Tso's chicken to be, and more! Just enough so that you'll lick the bowl clean and order some to go...I did. The lobster risotto and chicken we had for entrees were fantastic. My second drink was a seasonally warm take on an old fashioned that was served with a flaming sugar cube and had me saying mmmm after every sip. The Zeppoles....theyre gluten free!! My wife loses her mind over these every time. Well done, Boro. I can't wait to come back.

Boro is a cute space with a decently sized bar. The dining room also manages to feel intimate and…read morecozy because there aren't tons of tables. We started by ordering the crispy chicken, and I ordered a drink from the bar. The crispy chicken was the highlight of the night--very flavorful. The drink arrived 15 minutes after ordering, when we were halfway through the appetizer. I could see the bartender moving slowly, and I heard other patrons complaining about the wait time. It happens, and if the rest of the experience was good, I wouldn't have even remembered that. Our waitress brought us some bread, which was a bit stale, but the butter was fantastic. Our main courses were very average--I had the grilled branzino, which is a simple dish but just lacked flavor or anything to make it stand out. My husband ordered the short rib pappardelle, and the pasta itself was good. The sauce was very, very heavy due to too much truffle. By the time we finished eating, we were fully sweating because the restaurant was so hot. It was a very hot day, and maybe the air-conditioning was not working. Again, forgivable, but on top of everything else, it made for an unpleasant experience. Overall, it felt overpriced for the food and service.
