Well, this was the first time that I have visited a Pick Up Stix. My first impressions, were not great as we saw the cook take back our order slip 8 minutes after we had ordered. We then waited about another 15 min to get our food. Now, I am a fan of Thai food, and these Drunken Noodles were lacking a ton of flavor. However, I did taste my friend's Grilled Bourbon Chicken which on the contrary had a ton of flavor. For as slow as this place was and us being the only dine-in customers, our food did take a long time. For as long as it took, we expected a lot of flavor but oh well. I would love to give this a second chance but after my first experience, it will be a while before returning here.

Really weird pad Thai, and especially the chicken. It didn't feel like solid chicken pieces at all, more like ground up chicken that was slapped together into pieces. Greasy. And left me headed to the bathroom, unfortunately. Ugh. This was my first Pick Up Stix in years and I do not feel the need to go back.

I've ordered from this location a few times and I don't know what it was this time around but the food was pretty bad. All three items. Shrimp way too salty and zucchini hardly cooked. Mongolian beef was gross and noodles soggy. My favorite, house special chicken, did not taste the same as usual. Definitely turned me off ordering again.

I do want to say that the hot honey spicy chicken has an awesome taste. unfortunately I can't say much about customer service. As I walked into the restaurant their was a very bad smell and to top it off the girl attending the receiving area had a face like she was upset and when I asked a question she kept saying what? until I got closer to her ( I wasn't going to scream). when the food was ready the same girl brought the food to the table and did I say, she has long nails? well her nails were inside touching my food? and all she did was put the plate on the table and acted as of nothing had happened, then she continued telling me about the sauces ???? I didn't complained because jobs are hard to come by. but she really needs to get her act together.

Something for the whole family! Our family of four has some very picky eaters from vegetarians to kids with specific tastes. We all eat here, enthusiastically and love the different flavors. My daughter loves the orange chicken. I love the spicy Kung pow and my youngest one appreciates the noodles that she can eat by herself The bathrooms were clean, and the staff was very kind and brought us all the condiments on the table, 5 stars would eat again.

They also seemed really organized, even clearing the table efficiently & professionally! Very tasty dishes - everything had a rich flavor with each bite, without overpowering your taste buds. I loved the curry crab omelet, lots of flavor, and the seafood ceviche, very refreshing with a light coconut lime dressing. Will definitely be back again when I'm in the Irvine area...looking forward to trying out more items! Once we sat down, we were greeted & handed menus but then got ignored for 20 min. until a guy server came to our table but he only attended to the couple in the corner of our big table which rest of us girls assumed he'd take all of our orders going around the table but nope.. after the couple ordered & received their drinks which was another 15-20 min. so almost an hour w/o water. I raised my hand looking around to see our server w/ another server standing chatting like they're on break until one of the guys from our table called the server over finally! As a former server, I always give grace but it wasn't super busy. All of our food took around 25-35 min. to come out which wasn't bad. I got garlic shrimp noodles & parts of all my shrimps were burnt so only half my shrimps were edible but garlic noodles were delicious. We were able to cut our cake here no charge & pay separately on their portable tab thing the server told us to make it easier to split. Our table wasn't checked on during dinner until I flagged a server to get water refill when we were almost done w/ our food & bday girl asked to bring her cake out. Overall, food was pretty decent not amazing. This location was unprofessional & needs to work on their customer service. The other location's service is way better!

The second visit was just as enjoyable, so much that we decided to visit on Sunday to check out their all you can eat brunch. The selections were amazing with a few exceptions. Some standouts were the ube pancakes, matcha French toast, Toro tartare toast, and garlic scallop fried rice. Some items on the menu left more to the imagination such as the spicy tuna crispy rice, which had no distinct flavor, and the fried oysters. Outside of those selections, the brunch options were amazing and worth the cost. Shout out to Ryan and Koda for the hospitality, and the bartenders that served us during happy hour. While there are a few other spots in town that I would dub them supreme but for their offering, service, and ambiance, this is a great spot for business lunch, catch up, or family over delicious food. For this location, it is a bit small with limited seating. For large parties or families, you may have a longer wait time since tables need to be shuffled around. One of my favorite things to pair with our meal is their spice rack. If you are able to handle a bit of heat, ask for it and introduce the pickle chili to your dish. It elevates flavor with contrast quite well. Pad See Ew and Crab fried rice is what we ordered. The first visit had beef salad which paired great with the rest of the meal. Overall, stop by this location for good eats. FYI, parking can be tricky so be mindful about peak hours and carpool.

We waited one hour on my visit, but that is to be expected as the restaurant is quite small. Beef Rolls (5/5): We got two orders of these, and it was our favorite for a reason. Crispy and flaky wrap on the outside and it was packed with flavor. It was very satisfying to eat! Scallion Pancakes (3.5/5): They were plain but that is to be expected, I didn't taste much scallion. It needed the sauce of course! Spicy Wontons (4/5): These are solid and the chili oil does pack a lot of heat. I would say they are on the spicier side, just wish there was a little more depth to it. Seven Grams XLB (4/5): Juicy and flavorful! Not the absolute best I've had, but still worth ordering. Golden Beef Noodle Soup (5/5): This bowl right here was amazing. Green leafy kale paired with the extra hearty soup was what made this bowl a standout dish for me. 100% would order this alone! Mapo Tofu (5/5): Yummy silky tofu cubes with the minced meat sauce were delicious in every bite! I had no other complaints, but this dish gets very filling easily. Seriously, this place is one of my favorite places in Tustin. The service one inside is efficient, and the ambience is a bit noisy and packed, but this place is popular for a reason. I'll definitely revisit this spot when I get the chance.

Seating consider is around 10 tables plus hjgh top stools, so if you are a large group the wait can be long. We stopped by yesterday to try out some new items, which were a mixed bag. First the Cheese Chicken Roll was surprisingly good. Imagine the Beef Roll and swap things around to get something off of a fancy KFC menu. It features a crispy flaky tortilla outside, wrapped around copious chicken (katsu texture), some lettuce for a crunch, some melted cheese, and then a spicy Thousand-Island type dressing. It all pairs well, has a good chicken portion, and texture variation too. My only desire would be for slightly more lettuce and slightly less cheese, otherwise perfect. Crispy Lotus Root Fries are solid, but not a replacement for typical potato fries. The lotus version was not as crispy or crunchy, but would be an Asian version. It comes with ketchup and the same spicy thousand island dressing as the chicken roll. Lastly we were let down by the Pan Fried Shrimp&Chicken Dumplings (Whole Wheat). The whole wheat wrapping had a very slight texture difference, not as chewy as the typical dumpling wrapping. But the inside was the main focus. It seemed like it was a fishball inside, a homogenous color and texture and more reminiscent of fish than of shrimp. It's possible we got the wrong dumpling. Based on this experience we would not order it again. Wheat wrapping would be fine, but the shrimp/chicken filling would be a no.

The lychee lemonade came with unlimited refills, which was a nice bonus. It tasted how you'd expect from a classic lemonade with a noticeable lychee flavor, and had lychee pulp throughout. We ordered several dishes to share. The Calamari was a good appetizer. It had a light, crispy coating with good seasoning, and the dipping sauce paired nicely with it. We also tried the Carne Asada Fries, which were loaded with flavor. The meat was well-seasoned, and the sauces tied everything together without overwhelming the fries. The Garlic Noodles with filet were a solid choice. The noodles were flavorful, and the filet was cooked well, tender and juicy. The Fried Rice with Pork Jowl was probably my favorite dish. The pork jowl was rich, tender, and packed with flavor, and the fried rice complemented it really well, offsetting the fattiness.
