I have been here numerous of time since this restaurant happens to be on my way to school. Now, it is best to go during lunch time because they have lunch special. I usually get the coconut chicken curry! From the dish you get rice, choice of dumplings, and the entree coconut chicken curry. I have also gotten the pad thai before numerous of time. Pad thai is very salty but it gets the job done. This one time I ordered a pad thai without onion and peanuts. However, when my dish arrived they still have peanut on top of it. As I was about to tell the store employee that I did not want peanut on my dish, she realized it before I spoke up. She immediately took back to tell the kitchen to make another one for me. HOUSE CHICKEN KIDS MEAL Perfect size meal for lunch when I'm working crazy hours. It's not the healthiest meal, but the kids size makes it ok for me. It comes with the smaller size rice and house chicken, a small fountain drink, and fortune cookie. I never get anything else. THAI COCONUT CURRY I tried this recently and didn't like it. This review is for this location only! Meh! This is a new location just recently opened, as my co-workers and I were eager to have a new eatery open near our office even though it was just another chain restaurant. The restaurant itself is very well maintained, clean, hip and up to date and the staff is always very professional and nice! Now I've been to this location about 3 times since it has opened and every time I am pretty let down by the food taste. I've been to pick up stix many time and never been as disappointed as I have been here. I'm not sure if it's because they're still getting into the groove of things or what. I've ordered the following items on my trips here: House Special Chicken: Wow! Was this sweet! Way too sweet! I've had this several times in the past and never has it tasted like candy! The amount of sweetness is comparable to a dessert dish. I couldn't finish it because it was so flippin sweet. Garlic Chicken: Meh, not much garlic at all. When garlic is the first part of the name I expect to taste garlic! But sadly I did not taste garlic at all. Instead all I tasted was the black sticky sauce they serve it in that resembles tar. Veggies were ok. I've been a Pick Up Stix patron for many years but after my experience here, I think I'll stick to Flame Broiler from now on. I've been here several times and I actually really like this location. They are always SUPER friendly and I appreciate that the food is always freshly made to order (and not under a heat lamp). I opt for the healthier items and am newly a fan of the Thai curry steamed chicken entree. I have also had the steamed chicken and veggies which is good but has a more subtle flavor (I don't mind). I also love their chicken egg rolls if I feel like a little crunchy deliciousness. I feel like the portions are quite generous and you could potentially split an entree (depends on how hungry you are). The bf has tried several of the entrees and has liked some more so than others. Wow, I can't believe anyone with tastebuds would think this was good. I ordered chow mein with chicken, beef with broccoli, fried chicken dumplings and cream cheese wontons. The only thing good were the dumplings and the wontons. On the chow mein and the beef broccoli the sauces weren't bad it was actually the quality of the meat. Really low end food. This place has gone downhill fast. You get about 2oz of chicken, the rest is all disgusting bits of flour batter. It is better, much better, than Panda Express. Although the cooks are not Chinese, they were well trained. Meat quality is much better than Panda and the sauce is not as plastic. I tried the noodle dish and general chicken. They are not bad. If you have craving for Chinese food and like the fusion American style Chinese, this one is for you. It is funny, they don't use side vege to cook along. Like red and green peppers with general chicken or some green onions along noodles. I guess they are authentic features that the cooks don't know. Never been a fan but tried it again since a new store opened close to home. Ordered Orange chicken and egg rolls to-go. The rolls were very generic, had little taste other than the wrapper and seemed undercooked. The orange chicken was unsatisfying too. The chicken was mostly mushy (maybe the coating?) and the orange sauce was overcooked to the point of bitterness. Oh, and I saw one of the workers wipe his nose and then continue prepping food. It's a Pick Up Stix. Like other Pick Up Stix, the food here has too much sugar in it and it is served on plastic plates, which drew away one of my friends from eating here. The food comes out quickly or at average speed depending on the other traffic here. They accepted our coupon without hassle here. A previous issue involving hassle here was where we bought a gift card with a bonus and they prohibited us from using the gift card itself on the same day. Most other places with similar offer permit us to use the gift card (even if the payment was the gift card itself) on the same day. They also don't carry the mascot plushie here. read more

lol, in exact words of my bf, "pick up stix is for people who's never been to peiwei... or are too lazy to drive to peiwei". yup. we've never been to pickup stix so we wanted to see what it's about. turns out to be a lower quality peiwei with not as strong of marketing and branding. $10 for my shrimp pad thai was pretty steep consider the food quality was below average... it was topped with basically raw onions and shredded carrots that came out of those readypac disgusting pre-made salad packs... the ventilation at this location was terrible. we were breathing in wok fumes the whole time we were there... by the time we left i smelled like i got doused with the eau du orange chicken. service was nice, the staff are all really courteous... but not enough to bring us back. read more

We showed up, me and two friends. To the worst customer service. At about 7:30pm on a Sunday March 27. There was only one other table. We got 2 pad Thai, one light on chicken and the other no carrots or peanuts. My girlfriend was allergic to peanuts. "greg" he said his name was, charged me for both, then brought out a single pad thai light on chicken, no carrots and full of peanuts... We told him he got the order wrong and he went to the back saying he would make another. If we hadn't of noticed, she'd need an epi pen. I complained and he just said he didn't hear it, then continued to argue that it was my fault. Yet still charged me for a meal I didn't get, so he heard that I guess. Nice and quiet on a Friday night. Vegetarian menu is minuscule. Veggie Pad Thai with tofu is a good option. It's a healthy dish with noodles, onions, ample carrots, bean sprouts and peas. I added some light soy sauce and hot pad thai sauce to make the Pad Thai richer. I enjoyed the dish (takes a while to chew though ). My wife had Veggie Pad Thai with Broccoli. The service was pretty nice. I think it's a better place for takeout food if you are in a hurry. read more

The cashier was very rude. I ordered a drink (I said it at least four times) and she didn't put it on the bill. I went back to buy a drink and she still would not give me a cup. She went with a cup to the soda fountain and got her own drink. I had to reach over the counter to get my own soda as she refused to give me a soda cup. I will not be back, to this location at least.
