I am NOT certain that this shop uses genuine Mercedes Benz Dealership OEM parts. In my opinion, aftermarket parts or parts represented as "OEM equivalent" do NOT match the quality of true OEM Mercedes-Benz dealership parts. I strongly recommend customers purchase genuine OEM parts directly from the dealership and, if desired, only use this shop for labor installation services. I also recommend carefully comparing labor pricing before signing any repair order because their labor charges are not inexpensive and can sometimes approach dealership pricing. The biggest issue that caused them to lose my business involved my son's vehicle being diagnosed by Jojo as "flooded." We filed an insurance claim, and Jojo attempted to have the insurance company issue payment directly to his shop. After speaking with the insurance adjuster, I was informed that Jojo requested direct payment even though the vehicle is fully paid off. At no point did Jojo request or receive my authorization before attempting to have the insurance check mailed directly to his shop. This made me extremely upset. After I arranged for the insurance payment to be sent directly to me instead, I later contacted Anita regarding repairs to my vehicle, and the quoted repair price suddenly increased to nearly double. At that point, I felt trapped because I was concerned they might refuse to release my vehicle unless additional payment demands were met. Another major issue that resulted in another star reduction was a comment Anita made to me: "You are lucky you got part of the adjuster money, you would have gotten NOTHING elsewhere lol." I found this statement highly unprofessional, inappropriate, and disrespectful. Overall, I strongly recommend that customers compare pricing directly with the dealership before authorizing repairs. In many cases, based on my experience , independent shops are NOT necessarily cheaper than dealerships. While they may advertise a lower hourly labor rate, some shops may compensate by increasing the number of labor hours included in the estimate. "No comments"
