Really quickly too! I'm not positive if they make the bread in house but it's SO soft so it's definitely fresh and there are quite a few options. This was the California club on white that they added ranch to at no extra cost. My husband got the French dip that's seriously amazing but he was already scarfing it down before I could take a picture this time lol. Besides sandwiches, Pickle Time also serves up breakfast in the mornings, wraps, salads, soups and lots more. They have a lot of snacks available for purchase as well plus a few groceries - almost like a convenience store, but better. THIS IS A WARNING TO ANYONE THAT ORDERS VIA PHONE. I WAS actually a regular at Pickle Time, but not anymore. I order for delivery every Wednesday for me and my co workers and on more than one occasion, Pickle Time would get the order incorrect. Needless to say that is a problem, especially when ordering for others. The person who usually ends up eating the cost is me, which honestly, is not a problem the FIRST COUPLE OF TIMES. Finally, today was the last straw, yet another broken order, so I called back AGAIN and requested that on my next order they comp my sandwich and another one for the many times before that. Here is where the problem arises, Pickle Time has a HUGE language barrier, therefore they constantly get orders wrong (See other negative reviews about wrong orders and rude behavior) In fact I bet they do this on multiple occasions, but everyone is not a repeat costumer, so not as big of a problem. So I called - First lady who picked up didn't understand, she thought I was putting in an order, no problem, I explained again that a wrong order had been sent, she proceeded to say, "Sorry next time we make it better goodbye" and almost slammed the phone in my face. I asked for the manager, she continued to speak over me (Language barrier/Rude). "Manager is busy" - back and forth. Finally manager gets on. Not better. In the end I said comp me for this sandwich and the other horrible orders with another sandwich. She proceeds to tell me that people "Take Advantage" - pretty much saying I am scamming the system and they are OH SO INNOCENT, even though minutes before she agreed the wrong order was obviously processed (They switched sandwiches - so TWO people got the wrong order). Eventually she tells me: "You have already taken up too much of my time, we are busy, this is lunch time you know." So instead of arguing over one sandwich (Collectively me and my co workers tip over 20% on a $60-80 bill, so we pretty much give THEM 2 free Sandwiches EVERY TIME!!!) I calmly say, I know how to solve the problem, this is the last time I will be ordering. Moral to the story: In need of another sandwich restaurant, I call Jimmy John's - Unfortunately the Jimmy Johns closest to Boeing Everett - does not deliver, BUT guess what? They inform me that a Jimmy John's is opening at a location VERY CLOSE to Pickle Time (hopefully next door) and THEY WILL DELIVER! SO it seems that Pickle Time has a lot of costumers, are too busy, too much in a hurry to take the correct order, too comfortable, and frankly don't care if they lose my business or your business - Imagine all of this over 7-8 bucks, customer service 101! So I work at a food manufacturing plant and we have this state of the art kitchen with real live chefs and everything running it - and when we have guests in - they order from Pickle Time. The sandwiches here are good - and so big - I get one for lunch and save the second half for dinner. For $5 you can get these awesome salads. We have 300+ folks where I work and everyone here loves Pickle Time. And it's kind of a weird little place, it's like a mini-mart and deli - so you can also get smokes, a soda and a lotto ticket. One word of warning, at lunch time this place is packed. They deliver, so either pony up for the $20 minimum on delivery or stay away until they are not crowded. If your only choice is to venture in during the lunch hour(s) here are a few tips. First, ask the folks in line if they have already ordered, chances are they have and are just standing in the way. Second, after you order don't wait until you receive your food to pay, get your smokes, drink, lotto ticket and tell the cashier what you ordered and pay as soon as you can, otherwise you will be there forever. Also, if you are going to call in for delivery, do it early - from about 11 until after the lunch rush you will never get through. read more

I love this place. It's quirky but friendly. I could go on about the food, because it's fresh, made to order, tastes great and a good value. I could also talk about the convenience since this place also doubles as a miniature grocery store. A good tip is to order in before you come, so you can get your food fast even during a lunch rush. But here's a little anecdote that I think brings this place over the top: The cashier noticed a virtually unnoticeable cut on my thumb and he went out of his way to offer me a band-aid. This place fills the need for breakfast and lunch in this location. I have tried a BLT sandwich, which was pretty standard white bread with bacon, iceburg, and little slices of tomato. Nothing amazing. I have also ordered a Breakfast Burrito- Eggs, sausage, and a healthy dose of peppers and onions. I am always thrilled when I can find a place that serves a breakfast burrito, because it seems there is a lack of good choices out here on my end. I've worked in the Everett Boeing area for about 7 years off and on and have been to almost every eating establishment in the area. This is by far, my favorite lunch stop. It has a very wide selection of sandwiches, daily specials and just as many salad options (although those take a longer). The soups are great and dessert brownies (free samples) are awesome. The wraps itself were huge, but both the chickens were lacking some flavor. The dressing they had in it was good too, but not enough of it. I want to rate them higher but for now the rating stands. They are a little spendy as they are right in the middle of an industrial district so they know they can charge a bit more because of the ease to get to them. That's their only negative. I've had their breakfasts a few times as well as their sandwiches for lunch. I believe it's all one family that works here and they are exceedingly nice and accommodating. If you call in your order for pickup, the wait time is almost nothing as you can somewhat jump the lunch rush line but I rarely have been stuck in it regardless. So Pickle Time is right near my work and I figured it seemed like a cool place to try for lunch. I may suggest is your going for lunch, beware of the Boeing lunch rush...this place was packed..on a Wednesday. But I can see why. Pickle Time's Deli is where it's at, and I must recommend their Daily M-F lunch special. $5.99 for a sandwich, bag of chips, and a drink. That's about what you'd pay at Subway (right across the street), but you get a sandwich about 10-12" long, toasted, and with some quality meet as if it came from Quiznos or better. Yet it's not the rip off that Quiznos is (usually like $7 for the same thing, sandwich only). I came on Wednesday so the specials were either Hot Pastrami or the Italian. The Hot Pastrami was delicious, I wish there was some cheese in it, but it was still great. Typical Sandwich prices are around $5-7 for a whole sandwich, and $4 for a half. They also have soup and half sandwich combos for $6, as well as hot dogs, burritos, salads, and breakfast combos as well. I do find it quite interesting that this sandwich shop, the burger joint next to it, and the teriyaki joint next to that as well..all are run by Koreans..*shrug*. Anyway despite the busy lunch crunch, it didn't take me too long to get my sandwich. There is plenty of seating available. And I will definitely find myself there on Friday to get the Philly Cheese steak which is on special that day. Oh and a buy 10 get 1 free sandwich is always a nice added bonus.
