4.5 Stars The Brussels sprouts were made just the way I like them -- perfectly crispy and full of flavor. Each pizza pie we tried had its own unique twist, which made for a fun and tasty experience. My favorite was the Short Rib and Blue Pie -- rich, savory, and delicious. We ended up sharing so we could taste everything. The Carnevino could've used more bacon jam, as the bacon flavor didn't really come through. The Sausage and Peppers Pie had more of a spicy kick, which added some heat to the mix. Our waiter was attentive, engaging, and offered helpful recommendations. It looks like we came just after the lunch crowd, so the timing worked out well. The outdoor patios looked like a great place to sit next time -- definitely want to try that. Beyond pizza, the menu has a lot more to explore, including pastas, chicken dishes, and even a kids' menu for those with little ones. Also cool: they serve breakfast, which is a unique surprise for a spot focused on pizza pies. Overall, a great spot with variety, personality, and solid service. We'll be back to try more!

Castle Hills Famous Pizza Spot!! Popular amongst the locals at Castle Hills this place was packed on Saturday night with a busy bar, quick pizza service, and an overall good feel restaurant! We ended up sparking a conversation with a close table and ended up having such a good time! We were enjoying the food so much, I only got a pic of the appetizer- calamari- which is a MUST!! And our server also mentioned the brussel sprouts as being a fan favorite! The Mikey was also recommended but we were feeling the Margarita Pizza! Which was excellent and one we would highly recommend!! All in all this was a great atmosphere, awesome service and delicious food... all at a reasonable price!! We'll be back!!

Stopped in here with my little. Amazing service and yummy food on a crowded Saturday night. The margarita pizza was better than the pepperoni!

My family & I enjoyed our lunch at Pie 314. The short rib pappardelle was rich, tender, and perfectly coated in a creamy sauce -- comfort food at its finest. My husband had the mushroom pizza & added pepperoni. It had a crispy, chewy crust and just the right balance of savory toppings. Quality ingredients, flavorful execution, and a relaxed setting -- we'll definitely be back.

What went well? EVERYTHING!!! The food, the atmosphere, and the service was amazing. Pie 314 has definitely become one of my favorite eateries in DFW.

So my man has been raving about the wings from this place for a while, and I finally got the opportunity to try them this weekend!! I can honestly say that I've never had wings like this in my life!! They were HUGE, juicy, and somehow still crispy, despite being VERY sauced up!! The calabrese chili, roasted garlic, parmesan, and basil combo was so unique and DELICIOUS!! Super savory with the perfect amount of kick. I completely understand the hype now!! Absolutely LOVED THEM. Also, in addition to the wings as the appetizer, I got the chicken alfredo for my entree which was delightful! The sauce was creamy, the chicken was tender, and well-seasoned, and the portion was the perfect size! I was a bit skeptical when I saw the broccolinni, but everything worked together so well. Such a cute find, with fantastic food! We will absolutely be back!

The food is amazing and the best mimosa deal in town. Great service! Celebrated my birthday with friends, sat on the patio.

Friendly staff, fun decor, good food, and tasty mimosas with cheap refills. Love it. The patio has lots of comfortable picnic seating tables and heaters when it's cool out, so there's a good amount of seating inside and outside, as well as the bar.

It's been 4-5 years since I've been back. My best friend and I use to come here, religiously. I mean..every weekend/brunch. Came back to visit Texas. Coming back to Pie for the pappardelle was in my " MUST " list. Unfortunately, this was the worst service we've encountered. We were waiting for things and having to go ask the bar for certain items, only to realize, the manager was the one who we evidently was asking for XYZ for. Not once but twice. The Pappardelle, hasn't changed prior to my move. It still tastes amazing, as before. They definitely did add more items to their menu though. A bit disappointed that I spoke highly about Pie.. only to be shot down with the service. We were all, the least bit happy.

OTHER REVIEWS MUST BE FAKE!!! I had the Chicken Parmigiana and it was anything but Chicken Parmigiana!! The worst I've ever had. Their website's reviewers said great things including, "My stepfather was 100% Italian and I haven't had good Parma since he died 20 years ago." NO WAY!! The breading on the chicken was very salty (totally American style) and the sauce was nothing more than 'pink water"!!! Disgusting! The sauce was so thin it did not even coat the spaghetti and had absolutely NO flavor. You could not even taste if tomatoes were really used... and it was as though they opened an 8oz can of bland tomato paste and mixed it with a gallon of water. Pathetic. Look close at my photo - the sauce is so thin and watery it turns pink on top of the cheese - and in the lower left corner you can see the glistening of the amount of water used. When I posted on their website - it never showed up!?!? Filtering reviews on your own website is bad. Not happening on Yelp or Google!! My recommendation - go next door and eat at TBD Kitchen and have some pretty good Mexican food. Celebrating a co-workers birthday-? Well then this is just the spot. Great variety-awesome appetizers and amazing service. Met up on a Thursday night and it was quite the delight- we ordered the goat cheese appetizer with bread- delicious, flavorful, zesty, creamy and smooth. I had the truffle mushroom pizza with sausage added- fantastic. One friend ordered a pasta dish and it looked so creamy and mouth-watering. Our other friend ordered the brussel sprout salad- looked super crispy and delicious. Loved our experience here- reasonable prices and tasty food!

I hadn't been to Pie 314 in years and decided to visit for brunch. I had to write a review because the food was just as good now as it was then. That says a lot about a place. Pie 314 is nestled in the heart of the suburban Castle Hills neighborhood. The menu is just the right size and has something for everyone. Sometimes I want lunch during brunch hours, but a place may only serve brunch. Pie 314 offered both the brunch and lunch menu which is why I drove all the way there. My spouse and I split a Caesar salad, customized pizza, and the short rib pappardelle. You can't go wrong with either dish, but the short rib pasta is the star! The only thing I would recommend is that it is clearer which drinks are available and that drink specials are communicated before ordering. It's a family friendly environment and I recommend dining on a day with gorgeous weather for the patio.

The seasoning in the batter was spot on, and they were piping hot and perfectly crispy. I ordered the Maurice salad, something I had never heard of. It was a very busy salad, lots of different flavors going on, but I am here to tell you it was one of the best salads I have ever had in my life. I am already trying to figure out when I can go back and order it again. Hubs got pizza, half Texas sweet heat and half mobster. Culinary Mastery in Flower Mound: A Transcendental Pizza Experience…read more It is a rare occurrence to encounter a dining establishment that treats the humble canvas of dough, sauce, and cheese with the reverence of a fine art gallery. Yet, tucked away in a pristine, modern shopping enclave in Flower Mound, **Mister O1 Extraordinary Pizza** is doing exactly that. As a connoisseur who has traversed the country in pursuit of the perfect pie, I can say with unequivocal authority: this is not merely a meal; it is a masterclass in culinary composition. The Atmosphere of Excellence From the moment you cross the threshold, the experience is curated with precision. The environment feels fresh, intentional, and inviting. However, the true heartbeat of the restaurant is the service. In an era where genuine hospitality is increasingly elusive, our server, Claudia, operated at a level of executive-tier care. Her ability to balance professional attentiveness with a warm, family-oriented touch, even proactively engaging our four-year-old with a dough ball, was a masterstroke of guest relations. The floor management followed suit, providing not just oversight, but narrative depth, sharing the remarkable history of the founder's O1 Visa, a rare, prestigious designation reserved for individuals of "extraordinary ability." It is fitting, then, that the kitchen produces work of such caliber. The Gastronomic Journey The prologue to our meal, a Caprese salad paired with house-grade bread, oil, and balsamic, set a high bar for quality. The tomatoes and mozzarella were remarkably vibrant, possessing that elusive, sun-ripened depth that screams farm-to-table integrity. Then, the protagonists arrived: The Elisa: A triumph of balance. The interplay of ricotta and mozzarella provides a lush, creamy foundation, while the white truffle oil elevates the profile without overwhelming the palate. The addition of honey and black pepper creates a complex, symphonic finish that keeps the taste buds yearning for the next bite. It is, quite simply, an exercise in culinary restraint and harmony. The Star Beckham: A visual and structural feat, the star-shaped crust, filled to the brim with ricotta and bacon, is an architectural marvel. Removing the red onions allowed the savory depth of the bacon and the brightness of the basil and ranch to coalesce into a flavor profile that feels both innovative and deeply satisfying. The Traditional Pepperoni: Even the most basic offering was executed with technical perfection. When a four-year-old, the most honest of all food critics, declares it the best pizza they have ever consumed, you know the foundation of the dough and sauce is impeccable. We were further impressed by the beverage program, specifically the Mastri Birrai Umbri Blonde Ale. Its crisp, clean finish was the perfect accompaniment to the richness of the cheeses, proving that the beverage curation is just as thoughtful as the menu design. The Final Verdict We left Flower Mound with empty boxes and full hearts, the memory of the meal serving as the primary topic of conversation for the entire duration of our road trip back to El Paso. A "great" pizza can be found in many corners of Texas, but an *extraordinary* pizza is a distinct privilege. Mister O1 does not simply feed you; they transport you. My only professional grievance is the significant distance between El Paso and Flower Mound. If you find yourself anywhere near the North Texas area, treat this as a mandatory pilgrimage. It is, without reservation, a must-visit destination for anyone who treats pizza as a serious culinary art form.

He never made us wait for anything and was very polite. 2 Stars Food: We ordered (essentially) 4 pizzas and a Caprese salad. The Caprese was fantastic. The high quality EVOO that was served with it was very fruity and delectable. We had the classic pepperoni pizza, a 1/2- 1/2 Federico and Meat Lovers 2.0, and a Maria. All three were very good. I like a little more sauce on mine with a bit more "tang" to it, but it was still good. Crust on all were that perfect crispy that would hold up to just holding it from the end crust. 1.5 Stars Overall: Good pizza, and next time we will try the "Extraordinary" pizzas which have ricotta stuffed in them. 4.5 Stars

It was a great chance to explore other menu options. The Italian sandwich is good. It was loaded with meat, black olives, onions, banana peppers, lettuce, tomato and a tasty creamy Italian sauce. I chose coleslaw as my side and it was pretty decent. The sandwich was fulfilling. I was definitely satisfied and would order this again. The wings were disappointing. I chose the mango habanero flavor. The wings were cooked well and the presentation looked amazing. The sauce was great, but it tasted like the chicken wasn't cooked with any seasoning. It was like bland chicken with sauce poured over it. A little salt and pepper goes a long way. The blue cheese dressing was yummy though. My waiter was AWESOME! He was friendly, helpful and polite. He provided great service and I enjoyed his pleasant presence. I came after the lunch rush. It was a bit untidy inside and as I was sitting there they were slowly cleaning up the dining area. I will cut them a little slack. Overall a good visit and I left feeling full and mostly happy. The Italian sandwich is a YES! The wings are a NO for me. She asked reservation - we do not have any reservations. Again, I stated that I have a reservation with a confirmation and reminders. She said you do? I stated yes, let's not go there and please fix it. I showed her the confirmation. They pushed tables together and we were seated. As we seated, she stated she would get us some rolls. We saw a smaller party, seated after us, receive rolls. We were eating, I asked for some rolls. She stated they are cooking some, they did not have any reservations, and did not plan for many people (like Mother's Day). I reminded that WE had a reservation. We finally received the rolls, closer to the end of our meals. During our eating, I asked her for more napkins - she responded - MORE NAPKINS - I put extras on the tables? I stated we used them (adults, children and a toddler) - we needed napkins. No cool. My son and daughter in love - waited long for their pizza (we all had our meals). She finally brought a pizza to the table and advised that the wrong pizza was cooked. (She did say they could eat that pizza (at no charge), since they have been waiting so long. Before the correct pizza arrived, she did ask if they wanted to box it up (we were all packaged up). So they did take it to go. I asked for two cups of sweet tea to go - she said you want two cups to go, I laughed and confirmed, "Yes, I am thirsty" the tea was very good! She then asked if one was for myself and my son (we both ordered tea (refills are included). We were going to get dessert, we decided, after this meal were not going to order any. After all, we didn't want to need more napkins. #1 - No apology for not having us on the reservation. #2 - She mentioned again we did not have any reservations and not prepared (when I asked for rolls). #3 - Why do we need more napkins - she had put extras on the table. #4 - Ask why I need two teas and who were they for? #5 - My daughter-in-law paid cash. She returned her change without removing the charge (which we had to ask what this fee was; she stated it was an automatic cc fee). My DIL said, "Oh, I have cash." Yet, she still charged the fee; she had to return the fee to my daughter in law. I will state that I budgeted a higher tip because we were a large party. I covered my 3 sons (the dads) and myself. However, I gave her 20% (with much regret). I just could not bring myself to reduce it. So disappointed. Food was good but that type of service!! 06.27.2026 - Finally, after sending *unanswered email, calling for owner(was told the owner would be in Friday and Sat. p.m.).
