Killed that flight--coconut cream pie was creamy and smooth with subtly layered depth of flavor!! Mississippi mud is a fudge pie with ice cream! Very RICH! And the slice on the end is buttermilk with pecan!! Service was great! And the coffee was delicious!! Definitely a great quaint place for coffee, light bites, or a dessert!!

There's an outside eating area too.

My son and I visited Pie in the Sky for breakfast. We were warmly greeted and offered beverages. Service throughout was on point. I ordered the market skillet which was excellent. Everything was seasoned perfectly, the eggs were just right (not dry), and the mix of veggies filled the skillet. I had a croissant with it and it was beautifully charred. My son had the lone star platter with pancakes, eggs and bacon. He said the pancakes were light, fluffy and delicious, bacon was cooked perfectly and the eggs well seasoned. They have a display of homemade pies and we took home a chocolate truffle pie for later. Absolutely excellent experience and food.

I've never had chicken pot pie and French toast on the same table, but a four hour drive can change a lot about a person. Everyone I spoke to looked legitimately happy to do so and this trend continued throughout service. Good vibes, eclectic styling, and good food! Started my brunch with a sweet and savory dirty chai and it was the way to go. I haven't had a chicken pot pie since Clinton was in office, and the nostalgia was immediate. This was something a human being created with effort and joy, which comes through in every buttery, flaky bite. The French toast was just was fabulous!

What a lovely cafe! It's my husband's birthday weekend and he always requests a pie or any pastry for his special day. I am still new to Houston and the surrounding areas. I researched several pie shops close by and found this business 16mins from my area. I will say of your not familiar with the location, you might miss the turn. There was plenty of parking available. I noticed the outside patio lit with lights. Inside I was greeted by a lovely girl who was personable and informative. What like most about this place is knowing EVERYTHING is made in house or locally. I forgot to mention Pies In The Sky is female owned, and has been around for 20yrs (I think), BRAVO! I spent some time talking to the staff at the register - they seemed very happy to be there. Even the kitchen staff looked in good spirits. The wall closest to the entrance has a variety of pie flavors along with local coffee, wine, free range eggs, and more. I don't recall seeing a price list posted so I asked the nice young lady restocking the shelf. 9 Inch Pies are $20 6inch are $10 (Be sure to checkout the half off rack. Half off pies expire within the next few days but are still great for freezing and eating later) I was shocked at the price points of the pies, I was honestly expecting them to cost much more. This is SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper compared to other shops that charge $36 for a 9inch pie. TASTE The million dollar question. Are the pies any good? YES!! If your a new customer like me and don't know what to purchase, are free samples available at the register. I tried the strawberry rhubarb then purchased a 9inch plus a slice of the bumble berry. My husband hasn't tried his pie yet- but I hope he likes it. If not I will eat it by myself. I look forward to returning here for a full dining experience. I really like the ambience and live music - the menu looks impressive. Also, they offer mimosas AND sangria!

How I'm able to resist living in Conroe just for the pie: because it's 100F every day except between Thanksgiving and New Years! Service is just what you expect: Southern Hospitality. Brace yourself if you're one of the many LA or NYC transplants to Greater Houston! Dog Friendly outdoor seating has nice informal ambiance. Not a Parisian Cafe, but not Pie's fault!

Runny Pie !

Pie In The Sky is a must-visit! I stopped by for coffee and ended up staying for food and pie--and I have zero regrets. Kaelyn made my latte and it was fantastic! The entire staff is friendly and the service is quick without feeling rushed. Whether you're looking for brunch, a sweet treat, or fun drink, Pie In The Sky should be your go-to!

Best French Vanilla cake award goes to Dessert Gallery! My…read moregoodness it's delicious! Beautiful dessert cafe. Great service, and the treats are just over the top good! So glad this place is in the woodlands. Cupcakes are a must try too. So fresh, and the icing is some of the best you will ever eat. Planning on being a regular here for all of my special occasion needs!

I drove out here specifically to redeem a free classic cakeball or signature truffle using their…read morerewards program. I don't come often because parking is always a nightmare, and tonight was no exception. When I showed them the app, the staff seemed confused on how to do a redemption. So they had to call the owner for help. The owner apparently told them not to honor the redemption because they were in the process of switching rewards program platforms, and what used to be a 50‑point reward was going to be a 300‑point reward. The staff said my points would transfer eventually, but I only will have 63 -- not enough under the new system. Hey, I'm no entrepreneur. But I am a customer who eats out all the time. And to me this is a textbook example of an owner who doesn't get customer service. I drove all the way there, dealt with the parking, and came specifically to redeem a reward that still showed as valid in their app. It's not my fault their system hadn't switched over yet. These cakeball and truffle treats are only the size of a donut hole. It's not one of their higher end desserts. The obvious right move would've been to honor the reward and give the customer the treat. But nope. They chose the stingy route instead. And with that one decision, they lost another customer. Congrats and enjoy your cakeballs.

Pumpkin Spice Concha Surprise…read more I drove after work to this bakery in Conroe to see if they have the "Pan de Muerto," Bread of the Dead, for Day of the Dead celebration. Was I surprised not only to see the traditional sweet Mexican pastries and the Pan de Muerto but I was surprised to see the Pumpkin spice Concha going viral from the well know bakery in all soical medias. I cannot emphasize enough, their Pumpkin Spice Concha is absolutely amazing. The bread is soft while the Pumpkin filling is rich and creamy, keeping the bread moist. Let's not forget the sweet baked icing that brings the Concha it's popularity. But in all honesty, this bakery is absolutely great because it really makes the Mexican Sweet Bread just like I remember in Mexico. I tasted the other wonderful pastries bread that I couldn't stop eating. I would highly recommend coming to this bakery, especially if your looking to find the Pumpkin Spice Concha, without having to wait so long at the other bakery.

I have tried diffrent days diffrent hours and no matter what they are always serving old bread. My guess is they refuse to have any loses so they refrigerate fresh bread until old bread is sold, either way you end up with hard bread. The flavor and appearance of the bread is great and they are made and baked well but it's always hard and old. I hope they start putting out fresh baked bread everyday bc they would be a 10/10 if they did.
