Excellent pies! Employees were extremely helpful and what a great menu! I definitely will be back and recommend this place to anyone looking for an amazing pie.

If you need any kind of pie, you MUST go to Pied Piper Bakery!! This place is awesome!! They have both sweet and savory pies to satisfy any craving. I like that they also offer small pies and slices. If you're a single person and you have a craving for pie, fear bot because these guys have you covered! The interior is very inviting with pink everything. They had pies stacked on tables the week before Thanksgiving. Their pricing is very fair, and the service is wonderful. Friendly and knowledgeable employees will always have me coming back. You should follow then on the gram, too. Their reels are hilarious! @piedpiperbakeryaz You're welcome! Have a blast and support local. You'll be glad you did! ;)

Been wanting to try Pied Piper after seeing the rave reviews and with it being close to home we decided to stop by. Looking for a place with amazing pies so we can order for Thanksgiving. We were so excited to try, we ate the pies in the car! Wife got the apple crumble which was pretty much a Dutch apple pie and it was amazing. Not super sweet, just perfect and gooey and had a delicious crumble topping. I opted for the peanut butter brownie pie. I'm a huge fan of peanut butter pie, but not the world's biggest brownie fan, but let me tell you this pie was amazing! The peanut butter filling had the perfect texture, almost like a pudding, but better, hard to describe. The brownie crust was perfectly moist, but not gooey and was the perfect texture and chocolate contrast to the peanut butter pie filling. Generous portions and super delicious pies. Definitely putting in an order for our thanksgiving pies. Want to try more of what's on their menu, and especially the savory pies!

100x yes! I love some pie, so this is was a welcomed addition to the East Valley in my eyes, and I am sure soon to be to many others once they visit! We stopped in and the shop was adorable, very bright, clean and had that classic bakery pink color. They had three or so large fridge's up front with most of their pie options, in whole pie form or by the slice! There was a little description and photo for each, making it very easy to peruse all the options. They also had a few pies in the front case/main counter of the shop. The banoffee pie was speaking to us, which consists a graham cracker base, with banana pudding, layered with caramel, dark chocolate and whipped cream. I often get this dessert at one of my favorite restaurants in the valley, so I was eager to find a spot who offered it nearby and by the slice or whole pie nonetheless! It was hard to decide as they had so many delicious options, from classic fruit pies, options to add a crumble, cheesecakes, cream pies, savory pies, breakfast pies, pot pies, the list really goes on!At the time of this review, most full pies are $29 dollars with slices at $6, not including savory options. They did not have a ready to go banoffee pie the fridge, but the gentlemen - one of the owners, it's a husband and wife duo, he says she is the mastermind - promptly greeted us and said if we had a few minutes they could get one put together in back for us. Easy and in about five minutes we had our pie in hand! The pie.... was delicious! Truly hit the spot and three of us ate it for dessert every night for three nights, so we got about nine servings out of it. After the first day, it fell a tiny bit, but not a surprise with the moisture in the bananas and common for this type of pie. I definitely would recommend eating this specific pie within a few days, but each day was equally enjoyable even if it did not look as beautiful as the first! The crust was buttery, the whipped cream held the entire time and I would absolutely return for this pie alone, but definitely want to try some of their other flavors. I would love to see a pie flight! Already thinking of the next one I am going to try!

Triple Berry Crumble - their crust is wonderful

My sister let me know about this great new bakery. We stopped by for slices on a Friday night and love that they stay open until ten p.m. on the weekend. (Closed Sundays.) We chatted with the owners and they are so friendly and nice. They're really excited about this venture, invested in what they're doing - and it shows. After trying the samples they offered (I sampled raspberry cheesecake- delicious!) it was time to choose from the many types of slices available. Tough to choose just one... My husband and I agreed to split two slices: Triple Berry Crumble and Mt. Graham Eclair. The crust on the berry was great. So tender! The filling was a bit tart for my liking but the crumble topping was good. I was wary of ordering the Mt. Graham (vanilla custard, whipped cream, chocolate ganache, graham crust) because that's not my type of pie at all. But I LOVED it! It was so, so delicious. I was sorry I was splitting it, lol. By giving my phone number I'm now a part of the loyalty program - your basic virtual punch card. I'll have a $5 reward waiting for me next visit. I guess that means I'll have to go try some more slices. (I don't think my family will complain!)

I have been here twice since the opening day and I will most definitely keep coming back for more. I've been able to try out a slice of the banana cream , apple, a strawberry one, and a peach. They all tasted fresh and were yummy. The owner has helped us both times and he is sooooo friendly. I cant wait to be back again to try out the chicken pot pies! The inside is clean and decorated nicely.

There's a new bakery in town, and it's a great location right off the 60 and by where we live (lol!) They recently just had their soft opening on Saturday, and I was excited to go. It seemed like they are still trying to get their footing, but the owner and her husband were incredibly welcoming! They have fridges in the front for their pies, and I'm sure in the coming months will be stocked. I was a little disappointed that there wasn't a lot of options and it was between either a Strawberry cheesecake, banofee pie, apple pie, or cookies. Still, it was nice to see it and I do hope more treats will be available for us to try! I did get a slice of the strawberry cheesecake, which was very good - but not as tangy, and did not have enough crust for my liking. It was still good overall and had lots of juicy strawberries on top! I would absolutely recommend calling ahead if you are looking for a particular pie just to make sure they can bake ahead for you!

New bakery that we have gone to twice and really recommend the pies. On Memorial Day we got the banana cream whole pie and a slice of strawberry rhubarb to try. Those were so delicious we went back to try the $6 pie slices. Great service. Owners really welcoming. Clean and cute ambiance with everything being new.

The coconut cream pie we got for our anniversary on Pi day was wonderful! The place was delightful!

Delicious pies and a great addition to the neighborhood! Very good customer service, lots of pies to choose from, and prices are not bad. Would recommend to anyone in the area! Check them out and support this small family owned business!

Friendly staff, really great selection of pies! We had the banana cream and apple crumble. The crust in my apple pie was PERFECT! So, so good! I'll definitely be back to try others! Couple of suggestions - add indoor seating to be able to enjoy the pie there. Make frozen to go chicken pot pies! Seriously, with this crust it will sell!

This beautiful little shop feels like stepping into another world the moment you walk in. It's family run, and you can truly feel the love and creativity that goes into everything they make. Gabriel welcomed us in and took the time to walk us through all the delicious treats they had to offer. His kindness and enthusiasm made the experience even more special. Since it was our first visit, we were treated to complimentary shortbread cookies -- we chose lavender and rose -- and both were absolutely delicious. We ended up taking home a strawberry brownie, the tuxedo cupcake with dark chocolate and buttercream frosting, a vanilla cupcake, and the limoncello cupcake. Every single dessert was wonderful and beautifully made. This is the kind of bakery you instantly know you'll return to again and again. We will definitely be back!

We've only been to the one in Old Town Mesa, by the fine art theater. Just glad its not next door, because I'd start living there! Not to sound like a hoity toity food snob, (kind of like when someone says they are not a "conspiracy theorist," but then they go into great lengths about conspiracies -- I'll be a snob here. Their pastries and breads are next level. They aren't just baking an excellent product (which would be enough to make me happy in area that lacks artisan bakers) they are "crafting" baking art. I hate to compare to the European Bakery craft (because there are plenty of great American bakers) but Europe does have that as a trademark (at least France, Switzerland, Germany, and Italy.) If all I ate eat each day was one of their croissants, it would be enough - theirs just flake away from the outside, and then a tender airy sourdough inside. Pain au Chocolate - excellent. Croissant - excellent. Oh -- Chocolate Chuck cookie - unbelievable. Best I've ever had. Chewy, buttery, crunchy. Not caky. I'll be heading back for sourdough bread and other goodies. I know they're vegetarian, but I wanted to double check with her. She responds as "vegetarian means no meat, right"? All employees working at a food establishment should know what vegetarian means. This was quite baffling to hear. I asked her for a new slice because the one that was out on display was visibly burned and the other slice was touching pepperoni from the meat pizza. As mentioned, I'm a vegetarian. Therefore, I could not have either one of those slices. She proceeds to say that's how the pizzas are. They are slightly burned because they are so sourdough. While I can accept this answer, I do not accept the fact that she would not be willing to give me another slice as a paying customer. She insensitively said she can't give me a new one until all the old slices are taken up. She mentioned that this is their procedure. According to this, they are saying that they will not provide a proper product unless the old, damaged product, or unacceptable by the customer is used up first. If this is their business model, then it is apparent they do not value customer service. This business should have the competence to understand that if they want to sell a product, they cannot sell it in a condition that the customer is not satisfied with. Most importantly, being a vegetarian, they should have the sensitivity to understand that if a slice is touching the meat product then they cannot consume it. And again, the employee completely disregarded my health and religious beliefs by not accommodating me. You usually won't encounter problems when you're just trying to buy bread. However, it reflects on the business's employees greatly when there is a problem and they do not value customer service by resolving or accommodating the customer's satisfaction. I will be switching to Noble exclusively. Especially since it's so readily available at the farmers markets and stores.
