How can one not get a pie on a pie day? It's a tradition & we just need an excuse to get one! I have always seen piefection truck around and for this years pie day wanted to give their store a try! When I went in there was a long line and ofcourse it's expected. They make their pie in-house. They have so many options to pick from savory, tart and sweet. I went with cheesecake, apple pie and a raspberry slice of pie. I'm a big fan, the pies very delicious. I couldn't stop with couple of bites. So good, u can eat it all. Loved the cheesecake, it wasn't as heavy. Overall, this place is worth a visit, a cute little place and wish they had a set up to sit & enjoy it there. After hearing all the rave about this place for the past few years, I finally decided to give them a try. Located in a fairly busy plaza, this little place can be easy to miss as it's tucked in the very back. I came to pick up a pie for Thanksgiving, and I was expecting there to be a line. To my suprise, I didn't have to wait long at all! The day before thanksgiving can be quite chaotic, and Piefection handled everything for a smooth and seamless experience. They offer a wide variety of pies from savory & sweet to cheesecake & even quiche! Instead of doing a preorder process, it's all FCFS and they make plenty of pies to ensure there is enough to go around for everyone. I only ended up getting the Apple Crumble and a slice of the Apple Sour Cream pie. I was in and out of there in 15 minutes! My slice of ASC was heavenly!! Tarte apples and velvety smooth, sweet & slightly sour cream mixture sits atop a buttery graham cracker crust. A crumble topping adds the perfect bit of a slight crunch to seal the deal. All pies are placed in an adorable black & pink box. Bring your pie tin back for $1 towards your next purchase! Will be back! read more

It's been awhile since updating my review, despite continuing to stop by their shop here and there. Still a great place to pick up pies and conveniently located in a big plaza with lots of parking. This time, I just wanted to say how much appreciate the customer service. There was some confusion on a past program they were running, and the current manager of the store handled it very professionally. She took down my information and in a day or two, Cheryl, the owner, reached out to me. She was an absolute pleasure to talk to, and I got to explain the confusion I had. She listened to what I had to say, the misunderstanding that I had, which I partially think this was a result of one of their previous managers not relying the program guidelines correctly, and then professionally and compassionately clearing up the confusion. I tried 3 different types and flavors of pies from PIEfection at a catered event (spread over the evening, I didn't eat them all at the same time, lol!). These pies are truly a work of art, they are so delicious, unique and handmade, and of course, it is a local small business and that is always worth supporting. Everyone else seemed to love them too. They sell simply the most AMAZING pies, cheesecakes and quiches! I am obsessed with their cherry cheesecake. I could eat it every day if my waistline would allow me! The ingredients are the freshest possible. The crust is unbelievably buttery with just the right amount of sweetness. Additionally, the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The day I first went (it was Christmas Eve), there was a long line out the door. But thanks to their efficient staff, got my cheesecake and wad out the door in 10 minutes. I never seek out pie and rarely think about, until now. I purchased several pie from PIEFection for Thanksgiving- gluten free coconut cream pie for my Daughter, Pecan pie for everyone else and a chicken pot pie as well as a green chili pork pie ....just because the reviews:) Exceptional I loved all of it. Coconut Cream was just spectacular and I don't like Coconut Cream, or didn't. Now I do. Pecan pie is my favorite pie and this was the next one I've ever had, with absolute certainty. Very disappointed in my 2 pizza pot pies that I purchased. We ended up throwing "dinner" out. The two pies were mushy and we could see pieces of either pepperoni or sausage....weren't sure, but other than that could not tell what was in it. We have bought dessert pies from here and we're good. Very disappointed and a wasted expense with the pot pies. read more

This new pie place looks promising. We were driving by and saw the sign and decided to stop and check it out. They will be having their grand opening next Saturday 5/13. We ended up getting the PB brownie slice. We immediately tried it in the car and it's creamy PB top and brownie bottom seemed promising. When they are fully open we will be back. Update: after tasting more of the pie it tasted gummy and powdery/floury. I'm wondering if the ratio of PB (or what type of PB), and how the brownie was baked (again flour ratios) played a factor. Maybe it was an "off day" for this pie variety. read more

The other day, I stopped by this pie place I found on Yelp. What drew me in was they had a cheesecake topped with not very sweet but perfect apple pie filling and spiced pecan crumbles. I loved it! My sister got what used to be her favorite at Marie Calendar's, sour cream apple pie. I love their version of it. I also brought home a slice of pecan pie for my fiancee and it was delicious! Not a very sweet filling which was awesome! I totally want to go back there and try their no sugar apple pie (they also have peach and cherry), quiche, pot pie, rolls, etc. They even have some gluten free pies and keto pies. If you live or are visiting Arizona, and like the menu selection... give this place a try. There's more locations so you might be near one. read more

First time customers and I was looking specifically for key lime pie for St. Patrick's Day dinner. When I called she said yes, they have plenty! We went to this newer shop on Chandler Blvd. and Dobson. Smaller but extremely clean and decorated with several cases of pies ready to go. Told the person what I was there for and she showed us where this pie was. They had a great selection of pies, lots of variety. There was one single slice of strawberry rhubarb pie and I grabbed it because this is ultimately my favorite pie in the world. I was so excited to try it! The key lime pie was good. The crust was a bit soggy but the filling had a fantastic tart lime flavor and we all agreed it was worthy! The crust not so much and I made whip cream and everyone put more of mine on their pie. The cream on the pie was ok but felt a bit more fatty feeling than my homemade, light cream. Ok, so the strawberry rhubarb? Not such a great bite unfortunately. The crust was very soggy and the filling was not as full as I expected and taste wise, it just didn't hit the spot. Now...given that this is my experience, others may find it good but honestly I've had much better pie. We would definitely do the key lime again without a doubt and we saw a few others (coconut and chocolate) that we want to try so we are going back! Also, if you return the pie tin it's worth a dollar towards the next pie! read more

OMG I found a real honest to goodness place that makes food the way I would at home with real quality ingredients. Drove by and say a sign "Pies" on Chandler road. Pulled in and snagged a Banana Cream pie. I've been disappointed so many times BUT not this time! This pie was the best tasting pie ever! Not overly sweet, lots of fresh bananas and a great crust and whip cream on top. The flavor is really outstanding! They also have homade pot pies that I will get next time! Go here and try a pie! You won't be disappointed and in fact you will be really delighted! So lucky to have a real bake shop like this in Chandler. I miss the old days driving in the country and seeing a sign that said pies and you pull over and a woman who baked all morning is selling fresh pies. This is what that tastes like! I purchased a slice of peach pie and the crust was soggy. I purchased a whole apple and cherry pie and the crust was soggy. Not sure what the issue is, but for the price I would expect excellent pie. This is up there with supermarket pie. What a BIG disappointment. read more

Had a 12 inch apple caramel pie today which was supposed to be 2.00 off which they did not take off. Bill was 12.18, 12 for the pie and .18 for tax. I would not have minded because the pies are USUALLY really good. Today was not a good experience. The pie crust was too thick it was between 3/8 to 1/2 inch thick. It was very dry and had very little filling. I might give them a second chance because usually the pies are good. It will definitely take a while for this to happen. read more

I'm so glad they were open on the Fourth of July because it totally made my day. A banana cream pie was ordered and wow was it delicious! It has everything you want: a generous layer of bananas, lots of fluffy whipped cream, and a buttery crumbly crust that breaks off easily with a gentle poke of the fork. The lady running this pie shop was amazing. She gave us all sort of tidbits and tips (like return the cleaned empty pie tin for $1 off, said the pie tin is good for reheating pizza on if you decide to keep it, and she also gave me a coupon for $2 off our next whole pie purchase).
