Food tastes great and view is spectacular. Hovering pigeons are annoying but not their fault

Fantastic and refreshing, buttery lobster roll! Their garlic shrimp was also so tasty with bread to dip the sauce. The outdoor seating had a wonderful view!

Great location. Sits on the pier and has lots of tables to accommodate patrons. The food was okay. Nothing to brag about. I ordered a Caesar Salad and added chicken for an extra 7 or 7.50. Smallest portion of chicken I've ever received on a salad. Small extremely think slices. (Don't let the picture fool you, there is lettuce under that chicken, larger slices on top ) It also had WAY too many capers. The fish and chips were a better size and the coating was very good. We ordered a couple other dishes that were okay as well. Best thing was the blueberry lemonade. Although the cup Was very be filled before adding the top and it spilled on me when I tried to drink it. It's a decent place to eat on the pier after a nice walk, etc. The table scan menu ordering was a helpful touch. (You can also order at the counter).

Great spot by the water to enjoy some drinks and people watch or meet up with a friend. The wait for our food wasn't too long, especially on a sunny Sunday afternoon. Will definitely be back!

Packed seating, decent bar food, and good selection of cocktails at this self service place facing Hudson river - what else could one ask for after a rather long walk from UWS to this bar! Nothing much to say other than try it for a quick bit and a drink if that's your jam!

Absolutely one of my favorite spots on the riverside walk!! Good food lots of seating and reasonable priced foods.

Stars rounding up for the ambience and location. The drinks are better than the food and the foodis a little overpriced. That being said, the drinks were delicious -we had mocktails and the atmosphere and customer service are warm. Great spot for watching the sunset or dog spotting. Frozen blueberry lemonade was refreshing and the mangonada was flavorful and interesting. They were out of one beer my bf wanted but had a suitable other option. Fries were so small for $5.75 and none of the sandwiches or burgers come w fries except the lobster roll. So expect to spend more than you would elsewhere but to enjoy a beautiful view and location while you do.

3.5 rating. Pier i Cafe is a good option for the vibe and location. Located on the Upper West Side right on the water, Pier i Cafe is a great spot to take a break from biking the West Side Highway and stop for a pick me up, whether you want a drink, snack, or a full meal Food is solid with good portions. I got to try the calamari app, fish and chips, and shrimp tacos. The fish and chips were my favorite with the fish being nicely fried in a thin batter and the shrimp tacos, which were sauced just right. The calamari was too thinly sliced and over-fried. The downside is the wait can get pretty long if they are busy and it is an order at the register and a self-pickup-style establishment however they still expect a 18-20% tip.

The food wasn't great, but the outdoor setting was very nice in the summer. There were plenty of tables on the weekend, and seating is pretty free. You can stay as long as you want- a perfect place to catch up with friends or read!

In a way this place lived up to my expectations, as in mediocre because it's a tourist kind of spot. It's self seating so you just pick an open table and can order on your phone which is much faster than lining up. We ordered fish and chips, calamari, and frozen blueberry lemonade. They ended up giving us the regular (non-frozen) blueberry lemonade bc they ran out of frozen, but didn't say anything until I noticed and brought it up to them. Then, they did end up giving me a refund since we paid more for the frozen version. The blueberry lemonade was meh though, didn't really taste the lemonade part. Fish and chips were okay but calamari was not good bc very soggy. Overall wouldn't come here again although I do think the portions are decent.

It was my first time there but I was expecting the menu I saw online, not this new one. We tried 2 drinks: one inspired by Turkish figs and one inspired by lemons and the "Miracle Berry", which inverts your palate and turns sour into sweet! I really enjoyed both drinks. The figs one came with a sweet fig granola bite and the lemon one really did taste sweet after eating the "Miracle Berry"! I'd definitely come back to try their many other drinks.

Servers seemed a bit annoyed to have to deal with us shortly before close as I think they were hoping to usher people out and close down maybe a little early. They're experimental, whimsical, delicious, and worth every penny. My absolute favorite is Child of Light, and my BF's was High Frequency Device. The interior was dimly lit, with a couple of candles per table or counter. It's a perfect place for a date night. And while there may be a wait on busier nights, it's always worth the wait. We were sat at the bar once and were very well taken care of by our bartender, Nikola. It was a Sunday night, so it wasn't terribly busy. We chatted up a storm and he was able to create some drinks off the menu just for fun (on request). He also made my BF and me a couple of drinks to celebrate our anniversary too. Wonderful people and wonderful service. Needless to say, we will be back as frequently as we can!

It was dark when we entered the coffee shop but an ajar door gave way to the bar. The decor is a homage to the works of Nikola Tesla, which can be seen in the subtle electric theme throughout the space and the naming of the cocktails. The space isn't too large - the bar and stools take up most of the space but they also have some booths/tables. The place looks great. The cocktail menu is very creative - I got one of their seasonal mixes that was actually two drinks in one. The main cocktail was meant to be sipped first and they provided a small glass of beer to be sipped after. The name escapes me but it was very good. Since we had cocktails at dinner, we only stayed for one round. Service was good, and overall I enjoyed my time at Patent Pending. I would definitely return to explore more of their menu.

Stepping into this place feels like you're in some secret, super special cocktail club. Decor is super high end, vibes are upscale AF. The cocktail menu is incredible -- and incredibly pricey, but truly worth it. I ordered the Valentino which was strong and sweet, really well made. We walked in without a reservation around 6:20 p.m., and they were able to accommodate us at a shared table until 7:15. The menu surprised me a bit. Since I associated the address with Eleven Madison Park, I wasn't expecting to see items like wings stuffed with sausage, which were done in partnership with Jungsik. We ordered those along with the mushroom burger and asked them to cut the burger in half for us. The cocktail menu was creative and a little intimidating, with unconventional ingredients like cream cheese and green curry. I went with a fruity Hendrick's-based drink, and my friend ordered the spicy green curry martini. Both were good. Mine didn't taste very strong, but it also wasn't overly sweet because there was enough bitterness to balance it out. The green curry martini was more adventurous but still worked. Service was mixed. There was a woman standing near us, so we tried ordering food with her, but she seemed hesitant to come over. Maybe she wasn't a server or was newer. For drinks, she brought over someone more seasoned, who quickly helped guide us based on our preferred taste profiles. Her suggestions were very good. The mushroom burger was the highlight for me. It was a little salty, but the crispy mushroom and soft bun were a great combination. I honestly wished I had more than half. The wings were okay. They were crispy on the outside and juicy inside, but coated in a Dorito-like powder that made them very messy. Overall, it was a good experience, and I'd come back, especially for the mushroom burger.
