Referred to Piercing Pagoda by a friend for my daughter to get her ears re-pierced after they closed. We are so glad for Ashley, the manager. She has so much experience and gave great tips & advice for ear care. She even wanted us to come back 4 weeks later, so she could doublecheck how the piercings looked! My daughter developed a keloid on the back of one earlobe due to the large original piercing backing, which cut into her skin and caused irritation. We received medical advice by a Dermatologist to take out the earring, close the hole, and get monthly steroid injections into the keloid. However, because the keloid is not near the piercing hole (which looked fine), Ashley recommended that we switch to small 14k hoops with no backing to let the keloid heal. The earring backings were also causing a lot of "gunk" from shampoo, dead skin cells, etc to accumulate between the ear lobe, even with the special ear solution and q-tip cleanings. With warm salt soaks, the keloid flattened out and the scab fell off. We are hopeful that this time, the piercing will stay open. Ashley is always professional and kind when speaking to children, to teach them how to take care of their own piercings. With COVID, the employees wear masks and sanitize their hands and wear gloves. Piercing Pagoda is the cheapest place to get infant ear piercings at the Santa Anita Mall. Claire's was going to charge us $70+ for the piercing. Pandora was going to charge us $50+ for the piercing. The are located on the first floor, right in front of Express. Service was friendly. Be careful about the charges, they automatically add on insurance for the earrings which we did not want. You can remove that if you do not want it. Prices start at $19.99 for basic earrings and go up from their. We went with the earrings that were $25.98. You get 50% off everything also with the piercing. Holding my baby girl during the piercing made me sad. Seeing her cry was painful but she recovered like a champ! And now she has pretty shiny earrings. Make sure you leave them in for the 2 weeks like they say and make sure you clean it twice a day! read more

I found this place off Yelp. The reviews are spot on. I went to get a dermal, with tax, it was $68. You pay alittle more but the experience is so worth every penny. The piercer is chill, professional, and seriously barely even hurt. That is definitely from his skill. I had dermals before and the other piercer dug deep into my skin and I bled everywhere, not this time, he was able to Pierce me with a pinch and it was over. I will be back. This was a good place. I think having a gentle piercer/handler is really important for the process especially if you're getting your ears pierced for the first time! It is a mall so they do get pierced with a gun and not with needle. However, the process was so chill and quick and easy I don't regret it so far. I wanted to like our experience but I would not recommend Pagoda. I took my granddaughter to have her ears pierced. I felt very uncomfortable with the abilities of the ladies working behind the counter. I made an appointment prior to going there. I had a change in my schedule so I called to see if we could go earlier. They said no. We went earlier anyway and it was empty. Not one customer insight and 3 employees. They did pierce my granddaughter's ears but it was a bad job. Earing was damaged. I just would not go back. There are a lot of better places to go. read more

We used to come here every year and get new necklaces for the family. The warranty was perfect for us and would cover if broken. Since COVID we were not able to come back to the store to exchange our broken necklaces only to come to find out this location no longer carries the style we originally purchased. I was approached quickly by Hannah, who was very friendly and helpful to me. She noticed I was in my medical work uniform and considered if I had to go back to work soon. I didn't have to but I really appreciated that. She was detailed in marking where the piercing should be and made sure I was satisfied with the it before piercing my ears. I came home from work today, my six-year-old decided this was the day she wanted to get her ears pierced! I googled piercing near me and piercing pagoda came up.
